given the name itself i assume no, but there wouldnt happen to be a spearfishing way to gather mythloam, would there? its been the hardest one for me to gather so far
@thesabotagedandovershadowe8423 Mythbrine Aethersand is from spearing in Shaaloani in the top right corner of the map on collectable fast larges which is the fishing version of these. There's also a normal fishing version but I've not tried it personally.
I'm pretty new to high-level gathering and was wondering if there's any general advice on how much aethersand I should be stocking up on. That and the items from the legendary folklore nodes. Of course having more is always going to be better, but should I be aiming for hundreds? Thousands? I'm currently at 500-600 on all of the legendary node items and my aethersand counts are in the 100s (except for the fishing-exclusive one).
That depends on how much you are gonna craft. Your gonna need about 5 each to Craft one material if they keep it at five. Sands in endwalker required one for each battle gear so I say your good with what you got. Unless you plan on selling the sands for gil.
500-600 of each mat will net you 100-120 items (5 mats per material), ONLY when you get the tome materials. you will need to purchase tomes from other players, 2000 nets you 100 mats which then can be used to craft 50 items (2 tome mat per item) [also make sure your tomes are at 2k for patch]. This is just for the mats to craft full items, which varies but you can expend about 20-30 mats total on a full set of armor, plus a piece of sand per item (10 sand per full set of armor), AND 1-2 alch potion of str/dex/vit/int/mind for each piece (PLUS a sand for each pot). Farm or buy the mats for those ahead of time (we arent sure what they will be but can guess based on previous patches.) The most money to be made is the first couple days of patch, so weigh how active you plan to be because its ALOT of crafting. also prep your other level 100 mats HQ to help with the crafts. I will be on all day crafting on patch week so im starting at 2k of each node item, 300 of each sand, and i have 500 of each lvl100 mat HQ.
hello, newbie crafter here. Thank you for such a detailed answer. I have one question. by "level 100 mats HQ" you mean lvl 98 mats like Claro Walnut Lumber, Ra"Kaznar Ingot? Cant find lvl 100 mats in crafting log.
I'm glad that revisit proc'd for you during the recording! The first half of this one, and the last gathering video both gave you super rough RNG. RNG can be rough at the best of times, but I can imagine it being super frustrating when your recording a segment and trying to demonstrate something thats on a timer. (Without having to re-record it a bunch of times. Having to re-start because of a stumble of words is a pain on its own that I'm all too familiar with. I see your extra Bow emotes at the start lol). Overall RNG gonna RNG, but I hope its otherwise treating you well! I was trying to find it recently, but does the community have rough stats yet for around how often Revisit proc's?
Good to know. I've been farming these and legendary nodes while farming spiritbounding gear so I have 500+ of all the sands and legendary nodes materials.
I've been running around the area and grabbing 400-500 score items when Im out of gp, should I just be waiting on my gp to regen rather than doing that?
Actually your doing the revist proc method. If revisit triggers you get back your gp. so waiting passively isn't a good idea. Pop a hi cordial first then do what your doing just in case revisit doesn't pop.
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv Wouldn't it be better to wait until you're about 400 GP away from full (or enough GP to do the ideal rotation, at least)? If you use a hi-cordial and then Revisit procs, you essentially wasted it. I've been just running around and smacking nodes until either Revisit procs or I get to around 500 GP and then use the hi-cordial.
Well that's how I like my character to look. Plus That's the least weirdest thing I've seen in-game. As for my outro it's calming and relaxing so sorry it makes you uncomfortable.
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv Just do your thing, there is no need for the apology, whether you were genuine in it or not. I'm sure there are people who like what you're going for.

Your welcome. I'm hoping these will blow up when the sands become relevant on July 30th with patch 7.05
I love the way the music in that zone seems to drift in and out after the story event.

Not that I know of but some ppl will figure it out.
Look impossible to gather with scrip gear and lv 100 assesories ?
I've done it before.
@@ZaneLionhartffxiv ill try it with your scrip gear video setup,gp food or perception ?
Will there price increase come july 30th?
It should cause demand will skyrocket. But bots and idiots will flood the market and ruin it.

Fair point didn't even think about that.
Usually, how many of these do you need?
Last expansion it was one per craft so expect it again. But selling em is good too so gather a lot.
