The Akira box set is a collector item than a better deal type of box set. It's absolutely gorgeous and include the artbook, just know it's more expensive than buying the singles. But Akira is worth it.
The best box set that I have bought is the Pandora Hearts box set. It is SO pretty and the omnibus editions are beautiful and include both covers (which I’ve never seen before and was grateful because all the covers are gorgeous). Plus the series is the best I’ve read in a long time so definitely recommend!
MAN Bleach is so worth it. Its overall my favorite series of all time. Im currently re-reading the manga and this is going to be the 5th time ive consumed bleach manga(2) and anime (3). The new episodes coming out in October are going to be absolutely crazy, some crazy powers and bankai's to be seen animated.

I just ordered an Akira box set, almost a month after I saw the movie I was in love with it and after hearing that the movie doesn’t cover everything was what made me want to get it. I was also thinking of getting claymore but I just liked akira box set even more
I’d love to collect the Claymore box set, but I’m not really a huge fan of the tankōban sizes, so I’ll probably end up just reading the series digitally. It would be sweet if they published a Vizbig of the series, I’d buy those in a heartbeat
i have bleach box set 1 and 2! i got them during their christmas restock last year into this year. box set 1 was sold out everywhere and i actually found in in stock at my local barnes and noble, grabbed it INSTANTLY. i love bleach so much so it makes me so happy to have almost all of the manga. can't wait to get my favorite arcs in box set 3

Did you encounter any printing issues with your hardcover Zelda box set? The hardcovers are known to sometimes be missing chapters or even have repeat chapters
akira 35!! I just got it and I love the quality of thr books. My next one will probably be ghost in the shell because I found it for 30% off on Amazon and from what I've heard it's of similar quality.
If you like Akira and Dorohedoro you’ll probably love Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. It’s a phenomenal series that comes in a beautiful, HUGE hardcover box set. Please read it and talk about it I want to hear your thoughts
The Akira boxset is worth the $100 but be warned it's super heavy to carry but as I said it's worth it not only because you're not only going to get the entire series but also the Akira fan club art book and its awesome as well a the patch of the capsule gang inside so yeah very worth it
Since Wotakoi is published by Kodansha (at least in the U.S.), the box set will cost the same amount as getting the singles individually. But since the box set comes with extras that don’t come with getting the singles by themselves, you might as well get the box set as you’re paying the same amount for more content
I am waiting for the rent-a-girlfriend and sweat and soap box set to come out. I also really want to collect naruto but, like you mentioned the box sets have been out of stock for soooo long. I am definitely giving away or selling my two volumes of naruto if i get the first box set

@@rodawg7344 The SAO box set is great. The box set is beautiful if you want to display the box, but the 2 large books are just as beautiful if you want to display them out of the box. As for the books themselves and actual readability, they are a bit heavy and the text is a bit smaller which makes them a little bit harder to read than a normal individual light novel (they are like textbooks). That being said, I don’t have any issues reading them, and the larger size makes the pictures stand out so much more, and it is nice having 20 volumes in 2 large books. I personally think it is worth owning if you’re a fan of SAO. Hope that helps. Also I don’t have any of the progressive series, so let me know what you think of those if you get them.

I don’t know if I would even read it, or at least not soon. I haven’t ever read a light novel before, but I did enjoy reading in the past so I don’t think I’ll have a problem with it. @@forsakenV12 no it isn’t necessary. But if you want some more back story on some of the main characters in DBZ, and want a more “complete experience,” then I would recommend it. Also, It might answer some questions you might have during the reading of DBZ if you read DB. But I read DBZ first and then DB and it didn’t make a big difference.
