Buckle Up! It's a long one! In this video I upgrade my new RGT CRUSHER, come with me as I check and grease the diffs, install a new 35kg metal geared waterproof servo, mount new tires to new metal beadlock wheels using a new beadlock wheel tool, mount the new tires and wheels to the truck, also I installed the windshield wipers to the body, and used a chrome paint pen on the metal parts of the wiper blade for detail and added a cargo net to the bed and roll cage. Great upgrade Riff. For your glue problem there are only two solutions. Acetone, nail polish remover or polycarbonate remover. These three are all acetone based and yes, they work very slow and the firat effect is that it looks as if you spread the glue all over the place. Thest the acetone remover on some spot of the body you don't see. If there's no harm to the body, use it on the glue and repeat, repeat and repeat the removing. An alterantive is just water. If it's possible put the spot in a water bowl and let the glue soak water for hours. Instand glue isn't water resistent. But it takes a lot of time. Removing then is done with the fingernails.

Thanks brother, I tried acetone, I have a large bottle of it. It made things much worse lol actually, the wd40 removed most of it and it looks much better now. After a few runs and tumbles outside it probably won't even be noticeable anymore lol. Samwise says hello to you and your birds as well! I love my budgies and have always had one for years and years. Beanie, Echo, Gandolf, Bilbo and now Sam. All of them talked and whistled as well. Especially Echo, he had and incredible vocabulary and his speaking went beyond mimicry, he actually associated things and words. He was super intelligent. Sam only says a couple of things, and does a couple of whistles and clicks I taught him, he's a fun and beautiful little guy😁👍 thanks for watching my friend! 🙏💯🤜🤛🔥🔥⚡⚡😁👍
@@riffraffsrc Removing CA glue is really annoying and takes eras to remove it. WD40's a great solution, as long you don't want to paint the spot or cober it with sticker, because it leaves a covering film on the surface. But I'm happy to hear you get along with it.

Hey Rifff. Maybe they make a front window louvre or overhang for this or other similar trucks. Or maybe fabricate one yourself which would hide the glue

I got most all of the glue off fortunately, after a few runs and tumbles it probably won't even be noticeable anymore lol I think RGT Is definitely one of the best relatively unknown crawler manufacturers out there. They make very high quality high end down to super budget stuff and all of it from what I've seen seems to be excellent quality. One thing for sure is dollar for dollar they give you a lot more upgrades than most anyone out there and that is awesome value. This thing is loaded with metal upgrade parts, gears, shafts, links, etc. Hobbywing esc, lighting kit etc. So impressive and I absolutely love it! The RC Elf is an amazing guy gifting me with this so I can enjoy it and share what an awesome Sleeper this is with everyone! So glad I got to bring to the attention of more people because I really do think RGT deserves it. I'm the same way with Redcat. The upgrades and maintenance work should really help it out. I ordered one of those bead lock tools while watching!! I normally don't have much problem but it can be a real pain sometimes!! I have seen some 3d printed ones in the past but this aluminum one looks great and seemed to work really well!
Thanks Addam! I agree, I think those upgrades will turn it into a beast especially since it had so much good stuff to start with! Man, I gotta tell you, I absolutely love that thing and I wish I had ordered one a long time ago. It totally removed the struggling, and frustration and really streamlined it and it did such a great job. It's simple but very effective and you can use it a couple of different ways depending on how the wheel is constructed. It can probably be used with several types of beadlock wheels just being creative in how you move the open areas above the screw heads. I'm sure it might work on some 2.2 wheels also depending on how they are designed. I really love it. Made it so simple. I hope you enjoy yours! Thanks for watching brother!

We used super lube on 1911 slides when I built guns for Springfield Armory. I use horizon hobby marine grease on everything, or on smaller or more sensitive stuff I’ll pack it with Vaseline

Hi Bob! Sorry it was so long lol I never got the point of crawlers until I finally tried one a few years ago. Before that time I thought they were kind of pointless because I was a basher lol then I tried one... I saw that it took skills to get over and around different kinds of obstacles. I also found it was relaxing and good to get rid of stress. I got hooked! Now I love it just as much as bashing and I even built my first kit because of it. It is a gmade komodo double cab and it's incredible! I did an entire build series on it when I built it on my channel but all of it was lost when the hacker destroyed my channel. 😑 I will do a video again on it and some running videos of it in the future if I'm well enough! Nice crawler you got I like was thinking of having one but I just purchased the Enduro Ecto. Trouble is I like so many of these crawlers but can't own them all😊👍.

If you use ca glue, you gotta get debonder. It takes it off. Acetone activates ca glue. I use ca almost every day at the guitar shop. I use debonder almost every day also. You can also wet sand it with 2000&3000 and buff it.

@@riffraffsrc no problem my friend, glad to help. Just takes a tiny bit on a rag and wipe it over the area. It’ll either take it completely away or soften it enough that you can scrape it away with your finger nail.
I bet you can get brass covers for those diffs from treal. They add about 60kg front and rear, and help with that low sprung weight we need in our crawlers
Yeah, I always put a lot weight down low on my crawlers and even more so if they are top heavy and have more scale stuff on them. Usually I go more for performance than for scale looks but it's also nice to have the best of both worlds 🙏💯🤜🤛🔥🔥⚡⚡😁👍
