Imagine being abandoned at a hospital bed, barely two months into the marriage, the man who is well educated, well placed, never even cared to pay for the hospital expenses. As you said signs of abuse can be identified from day one, the focus shifts from "life" to "money" and the incessant demand for "more". After some time I stopped complying with their demands, searched for a job, got one as a guest faculty, (they were not ok with it) When he abandoned me at the surgical ward of a hospital, I was shattered. I never thought that a person could be so cruel. My only strength was that I was qualified enough to pursue the career of my choice. My parents gave me wings, they made me independent. Still, I lived through the threat that he would marry again, not once or twice but more than you could ever imagine. I never wanted a divorce, hence I filed for an RCR. But when Covid hit, it became all the more easier for him to escape. His family had the audacity, to invite marriage proposals when his first wife was still alive. Now he is in Cochin in a whole new avatar searching for new prey.
Anupama, I hope you find strength within yourself. That you do not give up. And that you have someone you can speak to. I hope you fly high and make yourself the life that you deserve. Sending you love and prayers ❤
I hope you find the strength to get through this . No one deserves to be treated this way. You were strong enough to stand on your own feet and that itself is a BIG step especially for indian women. I wish you happiness and hope you find peace with this.
Pls post his name. Save other women
Give him divorce. Whats rcr? If he dont need you why waste your life with him
@Anupama, sending blessings your Way

Maria Chechi, Im so proud and happy about your decision thinking about your child. Im still stuck in this toxic relationship coz of the manipulative character and abusive inlaws for the past 6years. I have a son too and Im planning to do this soon for a peaceful environment for my kid.
Be strong ,be brave...Happiness to you.❤️
@@aswathisnair4442 thanks a lot Chechi... I'm under extreme depression with parents unwell.

Kudos to the channel for bringing content like dis. Hats off to the anchor for maintaining a neutral, non judgmental tone💕.
Education ....Financial Independence....and the great support from parents and siblings...that's the key here ....if they live and stick just for the society.....they will be sitting on a rotten egg which smell worse ....only one life...if it's not working even after trying hard why waste it ...... more people just get stuck just because of kids ....what will happen to their life etc .....we are not just living for kids ...we also need a life.....
I was just an insta follower. And guess where this show took me to? I adore this woman and am I a huge fan now

an excellent talk....a fabulous show with standard with unique questions which cannot be seen in every interview or in a celebrity talk......love this show and keep going guys
A stellar lady..Maria Dominic. Keep going my friend
Divorce is indeed stigmatic in our society and that is the same reason why my mother had to take the decision after her children reached high school that too after us persuading her to do so. The unpleasant situation at home just for the sake of pleasing society is worthless. What matters is spouses happiness and peace of mind for the family. Only good minded souls are able to understand their situation
This here sums it up well👆
Neethu Mole,If there is a will there is a way. You could continue for some time. I listened to each word. You both edified me with your maturity. God will bless you both.
The host introduced the topic and Ms. Maria to the viewers smoothly. this 17 minutes video felt like watching a short 5’6 minute video, we would’ve liked to hear more from Maria but that’s okay Anyhow, I’m following her on Instagram so at least i can stay updated with her. She’s an excellent influencer with Class. If possible then a second part would be highly appreciated.
She speaks so well. Thanks for staying strong for yourself, thanks for taking care of yourself and your very life....as she said it takes immense strength to do this...all the best...host too did a great job
Thank you 😍

Please do a video on being childfree is also a good choice and not all women can be good mothers and procreation is not the only duty of a women. not all womens dream is to be a mother.
Totally agree with this. I wonder when will our society develop their thinking.
Yeahhh. Not all women dream to be a mom
An important point to ponder. I’m seeing this increasing trend in the society

Mariya chechi is very strong .❣big fan....love her voice
It is about you, ultimately. You cannot be happy with anyone if you are not happy with yourself. You seek happiness in others when you think you cannot be happy by yourself.
It takes a lot of time to realise you are going through something you do not deserve and a lot of pain and courage to say no to such relationships and people. But you will smile at the end of the day and not regret it any less from the day you realise this is not what you want and that you deserve to be happy. Keep fighting and never give up on yourself, no matter what. There will be light at the end of tunnel. ❤️
Wish this was a longer interview.....
Maria chechi, I am just 18 years old but let me tell you how much you have been an inspiration to me. Rather than depending on a man to stand, you made me realise how important it is to stand for oneself first. You go, chechi. More power to you.
Im glad ❤

Well said Maria 😍😍
Chechi u r my favourite forever 😍😍😍😍
Maria chechii uyirr❣️🥰
“Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (Mathews 19:6)
It will take time for any two to get used to each other .Should work on the relationship and should have the humbleness to accept our own drawbacks and try to work on it also accept the limitations one got in their marriage. No marriage is perfect in the world. .
Each person's path in marriage is different.
Oh yes, like i said try till ur last.. only n only if u think u gave ur 100% n if u r so sure it wouldn work then think about this grave step coz divorce n life after divorce isnt easy.. 😊
@@mariadom18 my former comment
was to Neenu Treasa' comment on marriage
Yes you are absolutely right! Nowadays , no one has the patience to stand by.. I am not saying Maria chechi's case. She tried n gave her 100%. But I am seeing people given just 5% and say they are done without even trying since it's taken so easy these days. When something goes wrong they don't have time to find their fault or accept it.Rather, they Just complain , make things worse and kill their relationship like a college love story breakup.
Well said.. 👏💓
Amazing
Well said mariyachechi... U r awesome. 💖
❤
Big salute to Maria chechi . I am your insta follower . You're really an influencer to so many young people .Keep going .More power to you strong lady .
Glad 😍 thank u so much..
Nice topic n nice show
A big salute for your personality
Lots of love ❤
Its so difficult to be strong.
Maria Chechi, lots of love
One suggestion to the interviewer. I get that you want to take a balanced approach when talking about gender equality. As soon as you mention women's suffering you are bound to mention the men's too. I get it. It feels the right thing and is also the popular opinion. The moment yu don't mention it, you can see typical bros commenting 'appo kashtapedunna chettanmaro'. But what we should understand is that there is a great difference between both, you can't say both are same. What women suffer is more a systematic oppression. The whole family and social system we live in are designed to oppress women as an individual and a group. For eg. If you are talking about divorce, when a man is wronged in a marriage majority around him pities him and thinks that he has a right to a better life and partner. Either the whole society tries to nannakkal the wife or is ok with leaving her. The whole financial security also helps men to do it. But when a women is planning to break away. Society usually asks her to adjust and compromise more. If they don't listen their parents are blamed, their education is blamed and if they are financially secure that is also blamed. But the sad thing is that the marriage is designed in a way it is difficult for a women to survive in and also break away from it. The shame, the judgements, lack of education to get a job later or if qualified enough the years lost in career building, the future of kids, all are chains.
So NO. Both are not same. You can mention it, but both are not same. For women the struggle is at many levels.
Agree with you but only meant to say tat there are women who arw at fault n also men who are'nt at fault.. and there are many men who suffer as well.. my heart goes out to each person who suffers.. be it men or women.. tats all.. 😊😍 otherwise i agree wit how women are traumatised by society post divorce or any similar issues..
Very true
My sister was going through the same situation. Very inspiring🙂🙂🙂
Thank u.. hope shes doing good 😊
Miss Maria Dominic what u have done is huge. This is definitely going to help other women figure things out and to outlive the stigma associated with divorce. It's a shame nobody else had the courage to be vocal about similar issues that are so common these days. Kudos to you and the show for creating such insightful episode
❤❤
Is she financially independent to live such extravagant lifestyle , the life she is showing off in her insta page ?
Does insta page / brand promotions help earn so much to buy expensive SUVs , house , kids education, expensive dresses, vacations , fancy restaurants , jewellery ?
Depending on parents money and enjoying life , how can this be influencing?
Hey kazhuthee
Trauma il ninn maari oru social life undyathum athil happiness kandu pidikkunnathumanu vijayam she did it
@@msa6761there is absolutely no issue in disagreeing to someone's opinion , but the kind of language you are using while addressing someone speaks volumes about you.
A single parent whether it's divorced or widow , irrespective of husband or wife , who has a full-time regular job to sustain his or life , will be working hard 8-12 hours everyday and struggling to meet both the ends . Home loan / rent , vehicle loan , school fees , medical expenses etc . They might not be able to attend these kind of new age kitty parties and socialize.
In other countries , where teenagers move out of their parents' house and start earning themselves and fund themselves for their college fees , here
an adult person , who is 30+ , shamelessly depending on parents money and enjoying life and attending parties , leading an extravagant lifestyle , is no way "influential" or "inspiring" to other people who are having traumatic experiences, rather it's just creating toxic positivity.
Mallika Sukumaran , Bhagya Lakshmi ,Manju warrier etc , were also divorced , but they just normalised divorce and became financially independent. Self respect is not just coming out of toxic relationship , but also be able to pay the bills on their own .
She's so open and frank!!! Great Maria chechi❤️
Nice conversation
Bless you ❤️
True!!
Strong women 🤩
hmm, it is a good straight forward interview, however hope this interview does not increase the rate of divorce; a small point of misunderstanding enough to change the minds of many people, especially the newer generations; the main point that should be taken home is that Maria had tried a lot to stick on, before parting ways - Maria is one who works with the brain first, then the heart - the increase in divorce rates is because of using the heart first (more or only) than the brains; All the best for Maria and family, her ex-hubby, this channel and the world
good topic and an excellent talk...
Marriage is not easy!! i personally dont agree with that.. It all depends on the bond created.. Its easy if both respect and love each other...
We respect all personal opinions here 😊 Thank you for sharing your view.
And like you mentioned, we fully agree, if BOTH respect and love each other 😊
Hi rosy.. i only meant from my personal experience n perspective..and also meant to say that one should get married only if they are ready for d plunge n for the responsibilities.. also, totally agree to wat u said.. it definitely changes with the ppl involved and is different for each person 😊 exactly y i said just coz one marriage din workout it doesn mean its d same for all..
Marriage is not easy.It has to be nurtured. Its a fact. You have to put effort to make it work out. If trust and respect could provide a good foundation, this process gets much easier. That's it.
@@mariadom18 True that!I have completely gone through your interview. You have made every single point clear. LOTS OF LOVE.
