I'm a class 11 student but I still remember what happened when I was in class 9. So in our school there are 4 different houses according to name and roll numbers. And every month the seniors of every house has to prepare a board in order to spread knowledge to the juniors. It was the month of june 2018, and as a pride month and moreover as the constitution has decriminalize LGBTQIA+ the girls of green house decided to make a board on that topic. They worked for about a week and when the board was about to complete one of the elder (senior) teachers started to scold the girls for making the board on that topic. She took the girls to the principal's office and all of their parents were called. Do you know why? Because the principal along with some elder teachers thought that "the girls are spreading wrong messages to the younger generations". Like seriously?!! I felt so bad for the girls but as a student I couldn't do anything and at last the board was snatched off.
From my 9th class I'm getting abusing harassing by own friends and classmates for being gay .one of my teacher also know my situation but she is homophobic she ignored me she didn't told anything to my classmates . know I'm 23 year old still fighting for my basic communication with my colleagues . One day...I heard ...A girl used the word "chhakka" for Riyaz ....I felt bad because she used it as a insult ..just to act as cool or stud...I told her that..your brain is not grown up properly ..if you really use a particular gender as a abusive word. Second accident ... happened .. Just a month ago....I was talking about BTS ..as I am a ARMY...A classmate used the word .."chhakka and gay" for them..just because they don't have beard and they are good looking.....I just messed up...then I just told her ...about her cheap mentality.. I frequently ..used to hear all that stuff for BTS.. But no worries...I always try my best to change the mindset of people. Thanks..to you...it is the best video..I ever got...on this topic.
I'm kinda lucky I have friends who are not like that. And sadly this discrimination & many more types of discrimination is deep-rooted in our society. 😔
I'm 14. Im a girl. I got a buzz cut. Some of my classmates called me hijra and chakki. They wrote brain cancer on the wall above my bench. And the point is I was NOT listening or looking at these things. My life went on pretty normally. One of my teachers tried to tease me. And I said quite firmly. Only becuz I have short hair doesnt mean I'm not a girl. We were in the staff room then. He retreated and said that is how i should respond if anyone ever says anything like that agian(mostly to save him self). Also before you judge..I'm a straight A's kinda student who is active in studies sports and music. The whole school respects me. I am yet to learn about my sexuality. My life has only just begun and I will never let anyone tell me how I should be. I will always have pride in myself. Thank you for reading✌️
@kou shik • 9K Views I think you meant to say "cisgender-phobia" (which doesn't even exist, but consider it because you said "gender" not sexuality), and please name a case where people from the LGBT+ community were acquitted of a crime in India (or even the rest of the world) just because they were a part of the LGBT+ community. Edit: Someone read the comments below and tell me if any of these bigots have named any real-life case of cishet-phobia yet.
I'm really done with my classmates calling BTS gay/girls. I don't care if they hate them, bcs anyways it won't affect their career. But using it as an INSULT is really BAD.

no bro there is a difference in gay and chakka the primary meaning of gay is stupid and then it's chakka I know it sounds stupid but that's the truth. This becomes an issue when people called T-Series as Tgay as a stupid channel in the west while in India people termed it like T-Series is being called chakka. That's why I hate all those youtubers like BakchodBaba and Lakshay who objectify such things and their stupid content is now followed by teenagers.

I remember having a bisexual friend in school and that's why my other friends started calling me gay. I laugh when they call themselves 'liberals/open-minded".
I remember a very similar incident in my school . In 10th grade , after the entire school period was over , this guy whom I really didn’t like came over to me and asked me a question about one of my best friends whom I hung out with a lot and he didn’t show up at school that day, “ Are you sad that girlfriend never came along ? “ And the same guy used to keep talking about inclusivity and women’s rights . So , basically , if he liked you , he would stand up for your rights and independency but if he didn’t , he would call you the very same things that he stood up against and preached against and bully you . Typical example of hypocrites within our society .
GOOD TO SEE ATLEAST SOME INDIAN UA-camR KNOWS WHAT IS RIGHT.....WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU SOMEDAY MAN.....I was scrolling instagram and found that a person had left a comment "Lesbian nikli ye toh ...LOL" and I was amazed how people think it is funny and I replied to his comment asking him "so being a lesbian is wrong?" and the reply that came stopped me from any further argument with that person because I knew the kind of mentality that person has won't change by me trying to make him understand through an instagram comment that its normal. The reply was "teri maa aisa kuch kregi toh tereko acha lgega kya". The kind of content he must be watching and the the people around him must be the reason he has that kind of mentality. I am pretty sure that if I had argued any further he would have started abusing me, my family...because thats what people do nowadays...if you dont have a good logic just rain a million abuses on the other person and you'll be fine....
@Dwan Sangma Buddy it's up to you to respect or not. Everyone have their own views it's people or the whole nation. Everyone says many wrong and right thing about Islam religion why dont you read Quran. Without knowledge it's easy to get misguided by others.
@Dwan Sangma Well the Bible also says the same thing so should we protest against every Christian populated country in the world as well? No book, or no religion is perfect. Everyone can choose what they want to follow and what they don't want to follow. Don't judge the whole community on the basis of what one book written hundreds of years back says. In India people are killed for eating beef. Not saying we should eat beef (since it has the most carbon footprint out of all meats and killing animals is bad in general) but that doesn't justify killing people either. You're right that the countries that give capital punishment to people of different genders are wrong in doing so, but every country, every religion, everything has problems that need to be solved. And they sure as heck can't be solved by hating on them. India also decriminalised Section 377 just two years ago, hopefully in the future we'll see more countries joining the band wagon. Sorry for the rant. Just an opinion.

Secondly he was the one who made a whole video supporting LGBTQ in 2018, people miss interpreted or should say took it out of context because it was prominent in meme culture for abt 2-3 yrs, do your research first before putting an allegations on someone.

The thing that surprise me the most is that many indians dont even know about there own real hindu culture and ancient indian history and many hindu scripture and literary sources do not speak of homosexuality directly, but changes of sex, homoerotic encounters, and intersex or third gender characters are often found both in traditional religious narratives such as the Vedas, Mahabharata, Ramayana and Puranas as well as in regional folklore. For ex shikhandi a character from mahabharat was a transgender shikhandi was a born women but transitioned into a man later on and also fighter in the mahabharat yudha , we even have lord ayyapa who was the son of vishnu and shiva and also shivshakti this term is tells the important balance of feminine and masculine powers and shivshakti somewhat represents a androgynous people too . Also a trangender woman's blessings or her curse is considered very powerful in indian culture . Khajurao temple has many statues and sculptures of gay and lesbian people and even kamasutra has the representation of lgbtq+ people. Vedic culture allowed transgender people of the third sex, known as hijras, to live openly according to their gender identity . A major deity of our hindu religion regarded as protector of the world, Vishnu is clearly depicted in the faith as gender-fluid. This major Hindu deity frequently took on the female avatar of Mohini. Vishnu even procreated with Shiva in the Mohini form, resulting in the birth of Ayyappa, a major figure still worshipped by millions who make pilgrimages to shrines in India. The avatar Mohini frequently gets describes as an enchantress who maddens lovers.
I really think Popularity comes with Responsibility. Being a member of the LGBTQIA+ community is not being effected by a 'disease' or being 'abnormal', you are born to be yourself, not to be perfect for the society. You should be proud that you're unique. Logo ka kaam hai bakwaas karna, don't feel bad about anything that makes you happy. And tbh, sometimes I wish that people change their views about the LGBTQIA+ community, and even if they don't like it, at least respect it. But not anymore. I watched this video in 2020, and when you said some people spend their entire life with someone they don't have any sexual attraction to, that scared the shit out of me.

This 21 century we have to respect every religion and every gender. If we dont know about them we got no right to talk wrong about them.

@Dwan Sangma See ur blaming someone else. Have u read the Quran. If u have do comment the verses then.

Really it's very difficult to make others understand that I'm asexual ... I'm not feeling to have sex... All my friends already had it... It's totally their choice... But when it comes to me... They say"tere me hormone ki kami H "
And trusted me even I had start believing that... I had some problem with my hormone or anything... But then I came to know about asexual... And understand that it's quite common and natural

I've gotta admit that i am guilty of calling my friend meetha.. he was my best friend and we used to tease each other by this term as a joke.. i was never against any LGBTQ person or had any problem with anyone if he/she was of some third gender.. i just thought it was funny as this was among me and my friend.. now i often think that if there was someone of this category in the room where i called my friend "meetha" what thought would've crossed his mind?

I've always known that I'm not straight but I've never accepted it myself....I'm from a very rural area...most people don't even know the word homosexuality....so often I would think, why am I like this.....I hated myself for this, because that's what the society taught me. But not anymore. I watched this video in 2020, and when you said some people spend their entire life with someone they don't have any sexual attraction to, that scared the shit out of me. I can't live like that. So 1.5 years later, after watching a lot of movies on this I accepted myself...and I came out to my friends ! And to my utter surprise pretty much everyone were very supportive. Some chose to ignore it but I didn't get any hate at all. I now am out and proud and I'll tell my parents and family when I'm financially independant......and Society ? Fuck it 🏳🌈🏳🌈

My English teacher literally taught us about this when I was in eighth. I am not proud of it but I was homophobic and transphobic before that. When she was saying this, many kids were laughing. The main reason behind the recent homophobia is carryminati's video. Literally no gay or trans person can post anything on social media now because the so called carry fans will go in their comments and use terms such as - beti, chakka , mithayi.
