ちょっとした小話ですが。ダリは生まれる前に死んでしまった兄が居たんですだけど、その兄の名前も同じダリで、そしてサルバドールは名詞で救世主と言う意味です。つまり、自分は救世主であるキリスト(と兄)の生まれ変わりなんだ！と思ったそうです。
でも確か同じ名前のせいで自分は何なのかって分からなくなった事があるとか🤔
同じように自分が生まれる前死んだ兄弟の名をつけられたゴッホはそっから拗らせ病んだのにダリは前向きポジティブ光属性で面白い
似た境遇でも生まれ持った性質で真逆になるもんですね

いや、この歌詞の場合、地の文を発しているのはサルヴァドール・ダリ側だと考えた方が自然だから失せろ失せろ失せろ失せろと言っているのはサルヴァドール・ダリ側である可能性が高いと思う。
それに一緒にされちゃ心外ねという文に『』がついていないという点で「私達いずれ飽きられて、使い古されるだけの命よ」という文と差別化されているから、失せろと発している側を個人、どうせ飽きられるだけと発している側を大衆としてみた方が自然である。

この2曲のように｢サルバドール｣にも、そんな我々消費者に対する皮肉や諦念、煮ルさんが抱える曲作りの葛藤が詰まってるようで、ただただ好き。
そしてこのコメントでさえ、理解したつもりの盲信者が語る戯言にすぎないのかもしれないってのがサイコーに皮肉
それでも、そう思わせてくれるところも含めて煮ルさんの作品が好き。

i recently did some extensive research on the DADAIST art movement, and i can say, this song is chock-full of dadaist philosophy!
Allow me to explain!
“DADAISM” is an artistic philosophy that is founded on two seemingly contradictory ideas. 1.) that a work of art’s worth and meaning are all in the eyes of the beholder. and 2.) anything can be art. any object, any action, any sound. anything created by a human is art. additionally, the title of an artwork is all-powerful. a dadaist sculpture of a puppy, titled “screwdriver”, turns it from a sculpture of a puppy into a sculpture of a screwdriver.
nonsensical? PRECISELY.
THIS. is dadaism.
(0:11) Firstly, obviously, the character design is meant to reflect the likeness of keystone dadism pioneer, Salvador Dali! iconic imagery of his work, such as the melting clocks (0:28), eggs (1:33), and ants (1:35)can be seen periodically in the MV. there is also depiction of an ocelot (0:38), which Dali was known to keep as a pet. there are probably WAY more references that i didn’t pick up on, but these are just a few, haha.
(1:07) this line here, “DA DA DARE?”, is a direct reference to dadaism (DADA). the context of the line also represents the dadaist concept of “the death of ‘The Artist’” which implies that regardless of an artwork’s original intent or purpose, it is meaningless after the one who made it is gone to clarify is meaning, and therefore is completely up to interpretation. many argue that “the death of the artist” occurs after a work is finished and released into the public eye, because then, it’s meaning is entirely dependent on the emotions it evokes on THE INDIVIDUAL. thus, “dare?= who?”, as in, who will you be? what purpose will your name serve to this art other than credit? this concept is also conveyed by the use of the term “ghost” to describe the artist (0:57). perhaps the sentence “farewell to the ghost, and become an imposing slave” speaks to the idea of an artist trying to force a concrete meaning into their work by tirelessly imposing descriptions and overt symbols into their art. sort of, “anti-dadism”, if you will.
(1:10) this portion here is what is called “dadaist poetry”, in which the speaker chooses words randomly (traditionally, by means of cutting words out of magazines and letting them drop onto a table to decide their order) and recites them either with great emotion, or with none at all. years ago, dadaist guilds would gather at clubs/bars and hold, what is essentially, a slam poetry session! however, the lyrics are relatively random, as in they have no sentence structure, but they still all connect to the theme of artistic commercialization- which technically disqualifies it as true dadaist poetry, but it’s still a cool nod.
finally, the overarching theme of this song, and the dadaist movement in general, is a response to the capitalist phenomenon of the process of producing artwork becoming an elitist market-oriented pastime for rich people to partake in and profit off of. i think the fact that the song has a clear meaning and theme disqualifies it from being called “dadaist”, but it comes close! the musical styling is also chaotic and nonsensical, which reflects the movement well. Niru Kajitsu certainly has a lot to say about “the death of the artist”, and i think their work has explored all sides of the concept thoroughly, such as in “Ironina” which brings the nuances of social media into the picture, and “Doctorine” which explores themes of mindless consumption and criticism and society’s treatment of artists. overall, i really love how philosophical their work has come to be, and i’m so excited to see what other concepts they explore through music!

Small note; Salvador Dalí was an artist within the surrealism movement, not Dadaism! Surrealism (very roughly) revolves around human impulses and the dreamlike, which might actually be why the character wakes up at the start of the MV. I will say though, Dalí played a character for his audience and put up a face to more easily commercialize himself, which ties in pretty neatly with all the descriptions at 1:10 (artistic commercialization, as you mentioned).
Also fun to mention that Dadaism was a direct result of post-war nihilism
I'd argue that the music video is actually a direct critique of Dadaism, but more specifically, surrealism. So the idea of it not being actual Dadaist/Surrealist artwork is, well, sort of the point.
The song is, literally speaking, about an artist bemoaning having to stand in the shadow of Salvador Dali. It speaks to the irony of being an artist who considers themselves orginal, authentic, ect despite being inspired by and following in the footsteps of someone who is, on all accounts, an exceptionally commercialized artist. The point is that you can't be a true Surrealist, because not even Salvador Dali was a true surrealist -- this is actually a point of critique that exists in a lot of Dadaist philosophy.
The resolution of the song then becomes that the so-called 'Junk Food-ized world' is beautiful too, and that having existential fears over how authentic to some made up belief you're being is ironically opposite to Salvador Dali's actual, practical philosophy of being true to your own original vision without fear of others' misinterpretation.

Ahh I love this song! I wanted to do some research about the references immediately...
0:26 “Ant & I, and the city of 175/蟻と私と175の街” was driving me insane for some time. I couldn’t find a real place of historical significance to Dali like a “City of 175” so I was wondering if it was a pun or what it meant. I’m worried this is a stretch or odd coincidence as opposed to an intentional play on words, but this is the most sense I can make out of it. “175” sounds like it’s pronounced as “inago” here which is very unusual (“i” from “ichi/1”, “na” from “nana/7”, “go/5”) here, with “inago/稲子” also meaning “grasshopper”. Dali was known for having a repulsion towards grasshoppers and ants and would use imagery of both in his art, so in this case it could be “ant and I and the city of grasshoppers”
I think the song is about Dali’s shift to commercializing his work (becoming a “puppet” or “commercial slave”) since he was criticized for selling himself out. He appeared in adverts in all sorts of things from cars to chocolate and became more well known for his eccentricity as his selling point than his actual art in consumer America. Overall really interesting to look into and it’s so unique and catchy! Niru Kajitsu never disappoints T__T (良いすぎ)
I grew up near a Dali museum and have went on countless field trips to learn about his art and life. I’m glad his legacy and uniqueness is recognized world-wide.

煮ル果実さん昔もこんな皮肉入れてた覚えがある。他のクリエイターも視聴者を嫌悪している人はいたし、それに耐えれなかったクリエイターは消えた。

最近ダリがよく目に入るからちょっと調べたんやけど、「サルバドール・ダリ」って名前はダリのお兄さんの名前で、そのお兄さんが死んじゃったから親が2人目の子に同じ名前をつけたらしいね。
ダリ自身「親が愛してんのはお兄ちゃんの方なんやなぁ…せや自分自身を愛せばオールオッケーやで」っていうのを感じてたらしいからちょっと悲しく感じるなぁ。
