I was hooked on drinking lemonade and my son had hiccups every time I drank it! My ob told me to mark my calendar on the first movement then I was halfway to the end.
I had bleeding at 25 weeks. It was a Sunday at 4pm. My neighbor who is an L&D nurse told me to head to the ER in order to go to L&D. They hooked me up to a monitor for 30 minutes and once the bleeding stopped they confirmed everything was good!! It’s terrifying but never be afraid to head to the hospital. And I second not getting a Doppler. And just because baby has a strong heartbeat doesn’t mean something else isn’t wrong and you might not seek care.
Not the best post to put up I think, especially to someone who's already been worried sick about there pregnancy the last thing they want to hear is negativity about bleeding and because bays heart is beating don't mean there's nothing else wrong you just shouldn't put these things on and cause more worry or something for someone to think or worry about !
@ my intent was to let her know while bleeding is scary it’s not uncommon, and she can ALWAYS go to the ER. And I completely agree with her about not getting a Doppler.
@Kcorra I wasn't aware she had any bleeding I might have missed it but if I did I apologise for my comment about that, but any negative posts will cause some anxiety to read especially with first baby, this is just my personal thoughts .
When I was pregnant with my second child I felt a flutter like butterfly wings off and on at 3 months. I didn’t know what to think but the flutters got stronger and stronger. My daughter was trying to tell me she was there. I definitely think you are feeling this precious child.
I completely feel for you! Had really bad pregnancies in terms of nausea and a bit of bleeding. I remember going to my ob and he was asking me how i feel. “Like shit” i would reply. He was smiling and replying “obstertically you are doing FINE”. Yeah, thanks doc. I stopped taking vitamins. They would make me mega sick. Was only taking folic acid
Poor Maggie, welcome to pregnancy brain. When I was pregnant with my son (#4 out of 6) I put the paper towels in the freezer. Then I went crazy trying to find them later. He is now 32 and we all have a good laugh about it!
The flutter is definitely baby!!! I felt my baby very early bc I would kinda sit on my knees scrunched up on the couch when I would look at my window. I think my body being scrunched allowed me to feel baby earlier!
Getting up to pee at night is Gods way of preparing you for getting up with baby at night. So so happy for you. Enjoy this 2 trimester. This baby is such a blessing
Yes❣️❣️The fluttering is the baby, I remember it feeling like little butterflies 🦋 softy moving their wings, it was the best, but just wait until you actually can see movement, I remember my son pushing on my stomach and I could actually see his foot and toes pushing on my belly, Love and Blessings✝️🙏🏼☮️🕊️🧸🍼❣️
So sorry to hear about your continued nausea. I used to feel sick every day at 7 pm like clockwork. I would lay down in bed and listen to soft music. It helped me keep my mind off of how bad i felt. Hang in there.... brighter days are ahead.
Albeit your cold and common pregnancie symptoms, i.e morning sickness, i am still so happy and excited for you & zac for your soon to be little family. I have watched most all your videos, your ups and downs, This so wonderful to hear. 😊😊❤
I'm so happy all is going well😊 I had a little blood/clot incident at the same stage and was scared too, and like you, my dr assured me it was normal . I'm glad to hear you not refer to your belly as bloated this time cuz the thinner you are, the quicker you noticed your body changing. I too had a belly before 10 was & had to hide it until I told everyone when I was 13 weeks. It's just your body making room for baby ahead of time 🙂
Just a hint of how I reduced my acidic vomits. My vomit has always been highly acidic and violent, so violent it comes out my noise and mouth at the same time. I learned to keep an insulated mug (I use one of the Aladdin 34 oz insulated mugs) with water in the bathroom, you can use tap water or ice water. Since my vomits have always been so nasty, I learned gulping as much water just prior to vomiting completely reduces the burning and most times it also keep me from being so violent it mostly does not comes out nose also.
I felt those flutters too at about 12 weeks. Definitely baby!! It’s the most special feeling in the world. Because I, too, had years of infertility, when I was finally pregnant, every little symptom ( even the gross stuff) seemed like a miracle to me. Those miracles are now 49, 43, and 39! 🤣 All I can say is live in the moment and enjoy every single second. It goes so fast. You are going to hear that advice a gazillion times not just during pregnancy but also as you are raising your little one. But it’s so true. The days are long but the years are short. ❤️❤️
Magz, im so so happy for you two! You re gonna be amazing patents! Usually i feel that sharing so much in internet is not good, but then watch your update videos and thinking about yours child, when he or she will watch and feel that stron love. He or she is so so soooo wanted! Im jelly 😁😁!!! Best wishes for your Family from Poland! ❤️
I feel you, friend, it is so awful. I would feel nasauous 24/7, and I cried a lot every day. I would gag multiple times a day. I never threw up, but the nausea was so debilitating that I lost 15 pounds with my first pregnancy and 7 with the second one. Everything tasted so bad, even water. It was a metallic taste, very weird. I started feeling better at 18 weeks for my first and 14 for the second one. Frozen grapes helped a bit. You will feel better ❤
I’m so excited for you! I’m 65 so it’s been a while but I loved being pregnant until the last week. Enjoy every minute. Can’t wait to see that little one!
I had a stuffy nose and sinus crud a lot when I was pregnant it totally disappeared right after birth. That being said I could smell like I had a super power and some smells that I would normally love were the worst! I could barely cook a mean the first trimester the smell would make me so sick when cooking meat. So you may be very sensitive to smells for a long time. But I did feel so much better after 15 weeks. I felt great after that until the last three weeks. I was so tired and so big BUT I loved being pregnant it was amazing growing a little human! I can tell you are so excited and happy to have all these symptoms. Love the fluttering it’s absolutely amazing. I am loving all the memories I am getting listening to you! I can’t wait to hear more.
I always felt my kids around 13-14 weeks, despite what the "experts" said. :) It's been decades since I have been pregnant, but I remember it clearly. It just got stronger as the babies got bigger.
Welcome to the second trimester! I cannot wait for more baby videos from you ❤ I tragically had morning sickness till about weel 26 for all my pregnancies 😅 praying yours does not go that far. But also, mine never started till week 13. Wishing you all the best 🎉 Just a tip for what helped me was to just snack. Never let your tummy empity. I never ate actual meals, i just had like x2 cheese and cracker every hour, or a slice of apple, just a constant stream of snacking ❤
I know I'm a few weeks behind but you absolutely are feeling baby when you feel flutters! With my 3rd kiddo, I know i was less than 10 weeks, I think it was 7 weeks, I'd started feeling baby and it was so early that my doctor didn't believe me but where they found the heartbeat was the exact spot that I'd felt her. And for others that might see this, when you first start feeling the baby it is completely normal to not feel movement everyday.
I skipped a doppler for my pregnancy. I didn’t feel it was necessary. If I had concern, I just called the OB and they had me come in to confirm baby was okay.
Yay for second trimester!! Boo for morning sickness! I’m also in my second trimester and just used your link and got the chocolate medley with the free sample pack in the mail yesterday! So many herbal teas seem off limits and I wanted some delicious hot drinks for the winter.
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH! Watching your journey has really impacted my life in a positive way! It makes me soo happy! Thank you so much for everything you have shared! I look forward to seeing more! Sending you love all the way from down under!
Right before you said it I was thinking you’re about the time to start feeling the baby move. I lost my first and had a few scares with my second so when I felt her move it was the most exciting, amazing feeling in the world!
Yes indeed the whole pregnancy is just so giant!! The morning sickness can be horrific. I feel for you, my first pregnancy I was sick into (just into) my 3rd trimester. It does slow down, but it was still there. Get those small bottles or Coke or Sprite and keep it on your nightstand just sip it here and there. I’m so sorry you are still dealing with the sickness. It’s really a lot😢
You’ve been through it the last few weeks. Hang in there girl because the light at the end of the tunnel is going to be fantastic. I’m so happy for you guys and can’t wait to hear your baby names
Sorry to hear that you are still struggling with nausea and a cold. Really happy and praying for you to have a safe pregnancy and a wonderful new addition to your family next year. Blessings from the UK 🇬🇧
I got a doppler after miscarriages and glad I did. I am a nurse NOW, but I wasn't then. I was able to find the HB consistently. Just start low and then work your way up the further you get along. :)
Remember the old BRAT diet? That was what I was told to eat during morning sickness. A dry piece of toast with a hint of butter, little cups of applesauce, good luck with bananas and rice. LOL. So glad everything with baby is ok.
Take heart, Maggie. Second semester is the semester every pregant woman loves, because most feel great--full of energy and any nausea has disappeared!😊 (Third semester is when you'll get tired again!)
@@LetsTalkIBD I am in week 24 and it got better. Still puked up the glucose from the diabetes test but I am no longer sad, when someone says something like 2nd trimester is the best.
@@LetsTalkIBD I've had 6 babies (ending with twins), and I have never liked the first trimester, but I love the rest of pregnancy. OK, I didn't exactly LOVE the last 3-4 weeks carrying twins lol, but I loved everything else after the first trimester every pregnancy. You are going to love when you can feel, then see, the baby moving. It's awesome! Magical! ❤❤
You're actually about right on time to feel flutters! Once baby (I'm thinking girl) is larger, around 6-7 months along, you'll notice baby will kick and move more when you're still. Think of your uterus as a rocking chair. The more you move, the less you'll feel unless baby wants you still. If baby wants you to sit, you'll get the crud kicked out of you.
I wonder if because you done have a colon etc that makes it easier for you to feel baby? Could be totally wrong just a thought! Also 14 weeks sounds about right for flutters! Sooo happy for you!!!!!!! 🎉🥹😊
Flutter can begin as early as 12 weeks and can become more frequent before the thud starts. Folic acid helps nails and hair. You getting sick can slow that on your head. I often wonder if that was related to circulation with respiratory in my case. As your uterus expands, the placenta shifts and flatten. If yours is facing the front, that's the heartbeat issue. It's something that might not significantly improve. Very happy for you despite the sickness. Wishing you the best.
I believe you! I was 12 weeks feeling my first baby's movements - I was very tiny like you but I know that's what it was. Hoping the rest of your pregnancy continues well - so exciting!
When I was about 4 months pregnant, my little one felt like little bubbles. It was so amazing. I only felt it on two occasions. I still remember the exact dates they occurred (11yrs ago). Beautiful feeling. Glad you have experience possibly something similar. God Bless.
I found that if i raised the head of the bed even three inches helps keep the heartburn down. You may find half of a Gaviscon may help. I have heard that heartburn means the baby will have a good head of hair. I never had it and both kids were bald.
Bless you, as bad as you feel and the sickness is just horrible it's just saying everything is doing what it's supposed to 😊 the baby is taking all the goodness from you and it's all so worth it ❤ hopefully it will wear of soon 😊
You are doing great! Morning sickness is so hard!! I got super sick at around 12 weeks with my pregnancy and ended up needing an IV for fluids because a just had a day where I couldn't keep anything down even fluids. That seemed to really help and then I still was feeling kind of sick for a few more weeks but then at some point it really was a lot better so don't give up hope! I was less sick with my second pregnancy. It was so amazing when the morning sickness got better because after feeling so sick for so long it just was amazing! but yes morning sickness PTSD is hard
Sweetie don’t lay flat, try sleeping in a recliner for awhile. It helps with the acid coming back up, also if you have severe reflux you can mix a little baking soda in a shot of warm water. Not on a daily basis but it does help kill the burn pretty quick. Also quickening or fist baby kicks feels like tiny popping bubbles. Your little one is rocking and rolling in there.
When I was preggo with my second child I felt him kick at 9 weeks. Everyone thought I was wrong, that there was no way I could feel him so soon. Well the thing was that I kept feeling my bladder being flicked, as he got bigger the kicks got stronger. He was obsessed with my bladder. Fun fact, after he was born (while nursing him) he would either pinch my tummy or knee it.
I have a Doppler it helps with the anxiety but with your stoma I wouldn’t since it might not find it right away and cause more worry. Love the updates!!!
She’s absolutely right after my acute pancreatitis I spent 4 years sleeping so hi on pillow’s my husband would laugh and say I was avoiding kissing him lol 😂 I swear it was just that if not I would wake up with heartburn ❤️🔥
I think that you summed that up so well, the part of "You've got to live". I am currently on Azathioprine and Infliximab for my Crohn's. People think that it is just when flaring on the toilet that your life is disrupted, but actually in medicated remission I am equally disrupted just in a different way. Regardless of wearing masks, I have to assume that I am going to get sick and so have to be intentional when focussing on when to live and what is worth potential consequences. But it isn't all or nothing. I can still choose to go and have fun sometimes. What is the point of being in remission if I can't use my toilet-free time to live?! Not that IBD is just toilets!!! And even in remission, I still never feel well. Ahh fatigue. 💜 It makes me so happy seeing your updates. I am so excited to see you receive in life the amazing things and joy that you deserve. xx

The flutters are baby!! For me it felt like butterfly wings…it has been 43 years since my first and I still remember that feeling!
Exactly like butterfly wings! And it's also been 43 years since my first!
Call the midwife says it is like the brush of wings.
My mom describes me inside her as the feeling like butterfly wings.

The flutters are baby moving around. I'm so excited for you and I look forward to your videos.
Thank you for the update and stay well and can’t wait till next time 😊
You’re a beautiful pregnant lady. I am so happy for you.
Definitely baby moving. The best part of my pregnancies was the baby kicking and moving
I am so glad that pregnancy scare was ok for you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’m so happy for you!! So awesome and inspirational!!!
Happy you mention the hot chocolate box. It’s a job keeping hydrated.
Emesis bags are great. Sorry you’re going through that. ❤❤
Try sleeping propped up or in a chair. Ginger chews are also good.
Thankfully we have one of the inclined beds! Helps a ton!
❤❤❤
She’s absolutely right after my acute pancreatitis I spent 4 years sleeping so hi on pillow’s my husband would laugh and say I was avoiding kissing him lol 😂 I swear it was just that if not I would wake up with heartburn ❤️🔥
It's a beautiful time in life. enjoy the flutters, soon it will be kicks. Enjoy!
I am so excited to see you receive in life the amazing things and joy that you deserve. xx
I love LMNT because of you! I didn’t even think of drinking the chocolate warm-I’ll try that!
Thank you so much for sharing❤❤❤❤
I can hardly wait until Sunday ❤❤❤❤❤
Gingerale & saltines were my diet for many days.
