Filipino families enjoy karaoke during a gathering, everyone is encouraged to sing, regardless if you can carry a tune or not,it is all about camaraderie❤
@@DaybombTV You might also want to check how singing is so evident that at graduation events, all graduates sing, either an original graduation song or a popular song.
@@DaybombTV Don't worry bud if u have a little alcohol in your system. Try to sing and you will get there ha-ha just like my my hubby he said i cant sing i told him you doubt yourself that much and after my dad offered him with SAN MIGUEL LIGHT BRUH HE CAN SING OH BABY ONE MORE TIME hahaha🤣😂Oh boy he cant believe he can sing it and a lil dance movement right there haha
Impromptu yet so fantastic. Do love Limuel’s voice over the rest, but loved them all together..this is how their magic comes through and they genuinely share in the limelight which is not usual in Mainsteam music, in my opinion. Love listening to Filipino artists. Amazing vocalists , as you will discover reacting to more👍❤️
Nah, just a regular day hangin' with friends.. drinking and singing. Ordinary day here in the Philippines🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 Please react to BUDAKHEL and Katrina Velarde - One sweet day and Thank God I Found you🙏🙏🙏
I’m Filipino but in America, I cannot sing like them 😭😂 My family must have lost that gene when we migrated here. 😅 But yes , people be sleeping on the Philippines. There’s so much raw talent there, not manufactured and produced…imagine if the industry invested in the Philippines 🔥. I would say lots of “diamonds in the rough” I think it was Simon Cowell that said per capita the Philippines has the most talent.
There are saying in Philippines that if the baby is born they don't cry but they sing instead 😅 90 percent of the pilipino's can sing im proud to be one😊
Philippines is full of folks blessed with very good singing voices from birth. From the pros, amateurs, or your normal neighbors for karaoke days/nights, filipinos can slap songs. They’re not overlooked. A lot of folks in the US foreign music industry have signed and/or tried to sign singers from the Phil over the years. But Uncle Sam goes after big taxes once they’re signed by a US company and the performer ends up being broke after all the money distribution. Sad but true.
Many filipinos do try to sing . More practice in karaoke sessions when they start to learn a good singing , they sing in karaokes with bigger crowd or in malls . When they group together and find out they can sing the same song on the same pitch , they can gave more fun to have this mike challenge .
Yes, that is true. Nearly every household have a karaoke or smart tv with UA-cam karaoke channels; to be fair and accurate, not all can sing here but most can do; even those who cannot sing are encouraged and supported to sing; the environment here is excellently conducive for one to be able to sing well, on another level: aside from household karaokes, singing or music is deeply ingrained culture - in schools, offices, communities, people love to sing during celebrations - birthdays, anniversaries, wedding, funerals, in restaurants, during feasts of patron saints, from elementary to college, in radio or tv, all offer singing competitions, no one can escape the vibe and for fun! Karaokes are our training devices in singing, that is why, high notes, creative vibratos, are the ordinary level of appreciation here not just ordinary singing. There are times, the neighborhood is figuratively, on fire when there are five to ten houses are exploding with simultaneous karaoke hahahah. Visit the Philippines and join us in Karaoke funfare! Anyways, appreciate your appreciation of Filipinos' love for singing. Thank you.
The place is not a restaurant or any musical venue of some sort. it is just a house just prepare for something to celebrate , perhaps aa birthday party or a town fiestaor anything worth celabrating. This people are just friends invited or not but neighborhood gather to celebrate the party. since Karaoke has become our part of life in the philippines , we tend to sing to lessen the burden in life to be positive always, wheter it is a sad happenings or joyful occurrence , we sing just the same.Aside from we are encourage by our parent and relative to sing which begins from our very early stage of our childhood. And if you live on the smae neigbourhood. you know the people who can sing around you. perhaps 90 percent can sing in the invited guest but not all.
If by Common meaning "normal" then yes, very much common in the Philippines. Anywhere in the country that has a Karaoke machine, this is the norm. Even in storefronta that sell Karaoke (and believe me, bro: they sell like hotcakes, especially in the Holidays. And the songlists keep getting updated YEARLY, most would just go for those too) the store clerks AND EVEN the customers or passerbys can belt out a tune in the stores, as a form of "demo advertising." And dont mind the stoic/no reaction look of the onlookers in those occassions, we're just used to it and know our country is the "land of great singers" very much 😅
You cannot go to a family gathering without a karaoke machine/apparatus present and everyone is singing. Be it out of tune or in tune, it doesn't matter. We sing because we love to do it.
it ain't just family gatherings, bruh. even just normal weekend drinking sessions in the community. when you pass by a community store with people drinking outside and they have a karaoke machine, expect they will pass you a glass of drink, and the mic, too.
