I love your videos so much Megan! Just a little tip when you’re sewing, you’re putting the fabric through with the bulk of the excess fabric to the right, if you flip your project so that all the excess fabric is on the left, I think you’ll find it will be much much easier to handle :)

Looove the old navy jammies but they shrink big time in the dryer. My husband accidentally put them in on medium heat so just make sure you only tumble dry or hang them to dry!

Cute vlog. I just got my late grandma's sewing machine, so it was fun to see a sewing project since I want to learn to sew soon. For Old Navy: the sizing is awkward for baby clothing, so just be aware of that. I prefer going in store. For the dress, have your tried it with a longer necklace? I agree that the neckline is a little awkward, but the dress looks so nice on you, I think accessories could make absolutely stunning.

I love your videos! My husband and I live in Seattle area too, I feel like we have a lot in common! We have a six month old named Birdy. :) Juniper is the cutest! Also my husband and I play DnD, so hearing your hubby talk about that made get excited XD

@@Matt_Acuna lol. Our 1 year old makes the weirdest faces when his dad is scruffy... On the flip side though, once it gets long enough it can actually be kinda soft... Maybe you should go for a Dumbledore beard lol...

I agree the dress neckline does something funny for the boob area, but if you like the rest maybe hold onto it until you're not getting engorged anymore? If there isn't a specific return window or anything.

Hi! I just love your channel. Your kids are just precious. I think that dress you tried on was beautiful on you, & very flattering. I'd say it's a keeper for sure!! The only thing better than a beautiful dress, is a beautiful dress that's super comfy & reasonably priced. As you were opening your packages, I noticed that the towel you picked out for Juniper goes great with that little outfit you got for her, I think you said it was Old Navy, but I could be mistaken. They both are floral with very similar pinks & oranges. It would be so cute to put her in that outfit and lay her on the towel. I think you are wise to follow your heart & slow down to enjoy your children. These moments are precious & they grow up so fast. That concept reminds me of an embroidered sign my Mom used to have on the wall when I was growing up. It went something like: "Cleaning and scrubbing can wait 'til tomorrow. Children grow too fast, much to our sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs & dust go to sleep; I'm rocking my baby, & babies don't keep."

The animals have been a menace to our garden this year. We've been troubleshooting to better protect our garden next year. But, we live out in the country so we have not only squirrels and chipmunks to contend with, but also groundhogs, bunnies, deer, etc.
It's definitely a bit disheartening when you see produce just about ready to eat and it disappears overnight! I hope your strawberries are protected now and you get to enjoy the next batch!
Also - the dress. I love the fall colours, I love the sleeves. I think the neckline is a bit odd, but not bad! For me, it looks like the perfect fall dress - but if you don't love it and don't think you'll wear it often then no harm in returning it for something you love more :)
I did exclusive contact napping for my entire maternity leave and regret nothing. He’s a clingy boy but this time is so short and he will only need me for so long. 16 months of the best snuggles 🥰
