I think the main issue with COD is that nobody wanted it to turn into this sweat filled, hacker loaded, over the top weapon builds multiplayer game! We just wanted a shooter that let people fight against each other in a semi realistic game. Once it became competitive it became less of a “game” and more of a chore.
if anything they have pretty much done that with every warzone iteration after wz1. wz1 was by far the game with the largest skill gap. wz2 had the smallest by far and currently bo6 is probably in between. not a fast/fluid enough game like wz1 but also not a game like wz2 where you if you peaked the wrong corner, you were instantly dead with how slow we moved. if you are noticing a lot of sweats, then that likely isn't actually cod's fault, but rather because warzone has been out for so long. after nearly 5 years of its existence, a good chunk of players are going to be at least half decent and another fairly large proportion are going to be sweats
The problem is people will always looks for ways to be the best it’s human nature. What they need to do is have both options, a sweaty and non sweaty versions. Sbmm should be ranked only while pubs matches should be ping based. But it’s just always sweaty all the time and that’s also not fun

If you go back right now and play MW3 MP and compare the movement to BO6, you will see and agree with me how much a downgrade this omnimovement is. Add that to WZ and it's just an awful experience. So glad I never paid for BO6. The free trial week showed me enough not to go ahead and buy it. And WZ 1000% needs to be a stand alone game.
@shazzyr7954 I haven't played a single game of big map or resurgence yet and quite frankly lost all desire to do so. Played a few games of plunder because I was bored and comparing it to mw3 it was horrendous, I'd actually rather play wz2 miles before I touch the current state of the game for warzone.
I'm pretty sure this is a server issue some of my buddies get it and they are on higher ping some of my other friends and I are 10 ping and below have no issues look into their servers it's fucked up
Random question: Proximity chat used to be a super cool feature. Enemy sounds showed up as a red "speaker" symbol, anyone on your team speaking would show up as a speaker symbol with their name. If you hear proximity chat that is supposed to mean that they are in your general "proximity", thus the name. The prox chat is completely screwed up. I don't know whos talking to me and just because you hear them doesn't mean they are close. Is there any feedback on when this will get fixed?

@@WhosImmortal I don't know if its intentional or not but the hearing players "nowhere near" seems to be primarily when you have a UAV. I've not done a lot of testing for this, but when i've noticed i ALWAYS heard the people miles away when i had a UAV up in my Recordings. Could always just be the activator for the Bug.
He literally said the movement of the game is based on “personal preference” and his feelings. Nothing else. Which is weird and why the game fails. They’re more concerned about themselves rather than the consumer

Until they actually apply an anticheat system none of these changes matter. I have a 4,15 kd and my lobbies are all hackers and sweats. I don’t care about sweats lol but

I personally love sliding/diving engagements 1000x better than jumping. Jumping feels and looks so unnatural and silly and frustrating. That being said, I am an unpopular opinion among my friends, and I accept that.
I fully agree with you, the jumping spider man gunfights are the stupidest mechanic in COD. For some reason your player can jump 5 feet in the air and track headshots repeatedly, but the opposite player's headshot aim is now under your feet? That would make sense back in the advanced/infinite warfare era, exoskeletons and stuff, but here in a standard COD? Also, the Omni as a weird smoothness to certain things that just feels weird in the context of other movements, but I don't hate it as much as I thought I would at the beta. Like diving and firing is much better implemented than the old dolphin dives of like WW2 or vanguard, the weirdly smooth and fast aiming when prone and rotating is definitely a throwback to old arcade feel but I kind of like it. The jumping is just the one mechanic that always feels like it shouldn't work. People don't bunny hop 5 feet in the air repeatedly, and they don't have perfect aim while doing it. All the other mechanics are basically just smoother versions of real movement (okay, slide length IS a bit excessive, but whatever). The jumping is just way over the realm of possible, but they make it a core mechanic every game. I'm glad it's gotten a nerf.
Our characters should play like unrealistic super soldiers with lucrative actions and movement. The game should move as fluent as my brain can make my fingers react. I remember on WZ1 I was able to keep chaining slides and glide around, my friend spectating said it looked like I was skating

I definitely think they're overthinking it. We don't want the movement to be so fast where it's broken and snaking is gonna be a problem, even thou it would be nice if it was a bit faster. We just want movement that's more fluid. If you compare mw2019 to BO6 movement, yes it is faster but it's also extremely fluid, you don't see the clunkiness that you see in BO6 movement. I think that if they find a way to make the movement more fluid and make omni movement a bit faster, for example the sprint to slide speed whether it be fowards, backwards or sidewards. This would create a bigger skill gap but it wouldn't be something hard to learn for the casual player.
Here's the thing. Call of Duty (2003) had something very close to OMNI Movement. But the differences were that game didn't have sprint, so you ran all the time and at the same speed in all directions, and you could dolphin dive and shoot around corners while diving. This made the majority of players angry and then Infinity Ward patched it out with bunny hop in version 1.2 and they slowed down moving sideways and backwards by a lot. They also got rid of ADS and jumping but you could jump and then ADS. This has already been in the game years ago and history likes to repeat itself thinking no one will notice.
Used to be a casual yet slightly competitive game that most could pickup and play to have fun. Now you need to watch multiple “META” vids to pickup and play

M/KB players are at a huge disadvantage with this system controller players have aim assist to help keep them On target while sliding or jumping. I have slid under someone jumping and cant follow them in ADS and they have no issue following me in ADS
Lol, Good for you, I've always played shooting games my whole life, my fun is getting lots of kills and winning the game. Now every fight involves throwing a coin in the air and seeing which side fell, either I'm going to get shot on my side because I couldn't hear the guy, or I'm going to die because his aim got stuck + getting shot right out of his sight and behind cover. Mainly the fact that I play on the mouse. My KD used to be 5.73, now it dropped to 2.95. Having the desync on servers with low ping, 99% of matches I only find with more than 130 ping. The movement seems to be running on oil and always slipping and even the feeling of landing a sniper headshot is no longer the same.
IF the game sooo fun. Why everybody quitting have fun playing an empty lobby because everybody is quitting. Mid game with no refill lobbies. And there is nothing Bo6 can do about it. Good.
It’s all fun until you catch up on your levels and it starts rigging your matchmaking experience.. we all had the honeymoon phase already. If your a new or casual player then Offcourse your not gonna understand.
MW19 and MW3 movement was perfectly fine. Don't fix something that ain't broke. All we wanted is just new maps, consistent new maps for all modes MP, Resurgence and Warzone
They should make it where everyone has to be hooked to a machine. The machine reads how fast you run, how fast you can do things like burpees and that’s the speed your character moves 😂
While I still enjoying playing COD/Warzone, I no longer feel like I'm missing something if I'm not playing. Bottomline, expectations the community had coming into BO6 have not been met.
I went back to mw3 to get nebula on my kar98 and level it up and my god the difference in movement is so noticeable, i was having so much fun running around, sliding, jumping etc. it felt so smooth compared to bo6
Honestly (while not a warzone player, and can see how radical changes can feel bad after you get used to something else) I feel like these changes are very similar to how BO1 approached quickscoping, it was something they didn't want to be a part of their game. There was a lot of backlash, but people got used to it and found ways to make sniping feel comfortable. While général movement is a much broader pool of changes, I can see where the devs are coming from design wise. Like they said they even made attachements specifically for certain movement types to cater to different people. I feel when you give a player too much (like default SOH etc mentioned in the tweet) it starts to make the customization feel lacking because you already have it all, especially when we just live in a time where SBMM makes lobbies more sweaty.
COD is not for the devs to play. MW2019 had great basic movement. Sure it intruduced skillgaps, but you should be awarded for learning those skills. Don't fix if aint broken..
I will forever stand on this statement. Call of duty is no longer a 60hz military shooter. I love the skill gap in the newest COD’s. So if you can’t handle a fun enjoyable diversed cod… go play a tactical shooter or MWII. Omnimovement & jetpacks been cods greatest masterpiece of integration so far, we need new styles for newer gens. But the main issue is promising a fluid game when movement has delays , which are very much annoying
In warzone 3, you could dropshot into jumpshot which not many utilized because it was actually slower than warzone 2, but it was another combo you cam add into movement. Warzone 4 there's no such combination however there is a method to where you can omni dive towards a ledge of a building or window and it would put you in a restand situation if you time it right. Now that was also in mw2/mw3 but with ahooting while diving it gives a different layer to gunfight approach and outplay abilities. Personally, I dont mind the Bunny Hop nerf as if they buffed it, I dont think it would be as practical because for whatever reason i think you're in the air longer than in previous games, so jumpshotting as a whole is not ideal.
I’ve been saying for years that the guns need to bob more when jumping and drop shoting is a crutch that too many people rely on. There was once a time where gun skill mattered not just how much g fuel can be railed straight to the brain.
I hate when I try to go prone to plate up or to pick someone up but no my guy wants to jump backwards it’s so annoying it be getting me killed sometimes
Change slide dive behavior to hybrid I also switched sprint to LB you hold sprint and prone to dive but I had to also switch scope zoom to right stick click but I'm a og so I'm used to change 🤷♂️ 😅

@@GhandiPandiit’s the same on both. Press the dive/slide button to slide and hold your spring input at same time to make it dive instead. Pretty simple and works well

I agree with the dev about jumping mechanic. I do think though, that they should reduce reload time a bit, improve mantling speed, make it so that you can reload while tac sprinting by default, and in general reduce the effects that make you stunned / slow / unable to act.
Well, because when you drop shot there and come back up in that little clip in MW 19, there’s less animation, you don’t see the other arm. It just lays down and goes back up where in ops six you can see the other arm push up so it’s going to be a little slower or it would look funny
This is mostly what I do, turn off crossplay and run PlayStation only. Advantage is that I almost never run into cheaters, those seem to be almost exclusively PC players. Disadvantage is that if I want to play warzone I can't find a match, or if I do it's 200ms ping. Doesn't help that I'm in Hawaii, nearest server is LA so a 60ms is my baseline lowest possible, but when it's trying to connect large player numbers it's not possible without the PC and XBOX players.
@@3GH3ST3 I think it's because they need the whole playerbase to make the large lobbies with decent ping. Otherwise you end up in a huge ping lobby and ruin everyone's game. I'm not sure there's a fix, really. Though maybe more servers with faster ping rates in them?
Hi. On the battle pass it’s saying that I’ve got 1,000 cod points through playing the game. I haven’t spent any money, but to get something on the battle pass that you pay for it says that it’s 1,050 cod points. Does the 1050 cod points just get you the individual item that you select or is it more of a bundle? Thanks
We should mention the inflation of double exp. I played a match last night around 2 am and got 16,000 exp from one match of search where I went decently average. I played one today went 9-3 and only received 4000 exp. That’s wild to me
What are they talking about? People still spam jump during gunfights, and when watching the replay, it seems their spam jumping does not affect their aim. They are not even using any perks to increase their effectiveness either.
Idk if people realize that if treyarch starts to speed up the movement even more , it’s going to get a lot harder for the casual player. The better players are going to absolutely sweat the hell out of the movement even more. Also, there are setting specifically for movement already in this game. For people that say they dive when they didn’t mean to, you can turn that option off to only slide. Not only that, but there’s even more settings for movement to personalize your preferred play style. This game is the first cod I’ve played since mw2019. It’s some of the most fun that I’ve had. They already buffed the aiming up by a whole lot. We gotta chill
Jumpshots were a useful tool to beat the campers that like to lay down..the focus on omnimovement is cool but taking away the effectiveness of jumpshots made it easy to lay down and camp
Man I just wish we could have the option to turn off the crazy ass skins/visuals for your experience. You can already disable gore so You don’t see the the death animations so I know it’s possible

In short, I no longer have as much fun playing as I did before. But for those who play just to talk and laugh, for the casual player, it's great. I stopped and maybe I'll come back after a few months to see if it's improved.

Some QOL may have been necessary in a base movement when Omni didn't exist, and now that Omni is here, maybe adding to base is too much of a good thing? Not saying it is, but we have to agree that the games play differently, and thus not all changes have the same effects?
have you tried changing your slide/dive delay at all? Using tap to slide/hold to dive with a medium delay I actually stopped accidentally diving a lot fwiw
Change your settings as he said, makes it way less likely to happen by accident. That said, I kind of like the backwards dive. It's become my go-to reload mechanic in most situations. Didn't think I would like it, but it's grown on me.

not necessarily, just means most players arent using it to its full extent, same went for movement beforehand like slide cancelling in warzone 1, bunny hopping, snaking, etc
MW3 movement was literally perfect and should be the base movement for the whole of eternity. I couldn’t care less about jogging sideways when I can’t do anything else as quickly as I used to be able to. So annoying! I don’t play as much because of it.

I've been convinced since verdansk the only reason they don't have a console only a crossplay option is because. Some dev likes to pub stomp on console players with their far superior pc. If that option for console cross play was a thing 95% of console players would have it active. Reading his tweet about him not liking bunny hoping and that's why it's out confirms my opinion, imo.
All the sliding and jumping while shooting is just silly. No soldier has ever bunny hopped around a corner in the history of war. They need to get back to basics and make gunplay great again. At this point the game is more about movement than anything else. I don't want to have to run around like a crackhead every time i play to be competitive
It sounds like the developers are actively trying to prevent alienating everyone who doesn't like super aggressive, twitch-shooting playstyle. But it seems kind of odd because the game just punishes the player if they aren't in multiple ways. If you're not sliding instead of walking, pulling out your recoil-less, 100-round drum XM4 and spraying at everyone's crotch getting those quick kills, then you clearly aren't a Call of Duty player. The dumbing down of mechanics in Black Ops Six is mind-boggling to me. Attachments are super simplistic. Recoil is non-existent. Automatic weapons are head-and-shoulders better than semi-automatic choices. Maps are incredibly simple to allow sweats to Omni-spam movement.
Best movement with the worst server tick rate, and the most hackers we’ve ever had. Along with SBMM/EOMM being cranked tf up. Black ops 6 is dogshit. Stop coping.
The reasoning makes sense but the execution feels terrible. I think the way xdefiant handled snaking and shopping worked really well. The more you spam crouch or jump the worse your aimsway gets, significantly. Nerfing certain movements in a fast movement game makes the movement feel really clunky and inconsistent
For me, it's like running on oil and slipping all the time. I 100% prefer the way it was before, I'm not going to pretend that I liked any of it just because it was different and needed changes, for me it changed for the worse in every aspect.
Flowing Low calling card still not working. Atvi responds with email saying clear my cache… it’s like they don’t get it’s on their end. Cache clearing won’t fix it. Just tell the devs and fix 1 calling card that doesn’t work for everyone
Maybe I'm alone in this, but we get this omnimovement which promises the most fluid movement yet, but they nerf jumping movement. Why? Just give us the whole package of movement, a one off omnimovement game with jetpacks. Slide, dive, jump, fly, wallrun in all directions. Open the full gamut of run and gun options for one game. Just once
I don’t mind movement just wish they fixed the servers and add events like they did in mw3 warzone with the purgatory challenges for cool stuff and the mode itself was fun stuff like that would make playing much more enjoyable

On MnK its a stutter mess of a movement, on controller its okayish still sluggish HOWEVER comparing it to BO4, IW and WW2 it played way smoother, but MW3 is probably the peak for buttery smoothness when it comes to the movement, sliding, jumping, dolphin diving, slide cancel, sprint speed.
They will respond to things Treyarch can control. They won’t respond to things Activision controls (servers, ricoshit, and sbmm/eomm). Those will never be fixed as long as Activision is allowed to function as it currently does.
50/50 on it. If you don’t want to use Omi movement you don’t have too. But the gun sway etc is there all the time. WZ 1 “is the gold standard” by many opinions, why can’t we go back to those mechanic’s? Even for a season and get “feedback”….. Just Cod doing COD things..
This game is chalked.....players are leaving in there droves..both sweats and casuals.slow movement,AI art,sbmm,eomm,servers,lag,packet burst, Patching 2 boxing instead of going after the actual aimbot walling hackers that are destroying both sweats and casual experiences,I'm sure there's more But most of all it's the company Activision them self's there just scum it's all about money and I get it but give a good experience and the players will play
The game feels fast now but it can do with a few features I think reloading ur gun could be a bit faster and also momvent could be a lot faster when running
What's crazy to if you go into Resurgence, Warzone, the movement becomes even more "muddy" or "sloppy" than multi-player where if I go into Resurgence I increase my sensitivity level but Resurgence still feels different in movement. I don't even want to play Resurgence, Warzone cause of it. They are ruining BO6
as a kbm player in the top 1%, mwII had the best gun play, and this most recent visual change is trash. idk wtf happened to fps games, but movement used to be a micro skill, not a macro. knowledge, positioning, and gun skill used to be the main factors. not abusing glitches, spamming your left stick/w, and abusing rotational aim assist. this entire year is just poor fps game design.
i wish they would fix the AI bullshit by taking it all out of the game, bringing creativity back and giving the voice actors AI protections in their contract
While PC players that are on keyboard and mouse are at a disadvantage you have to look at all the other advantages they have over console players clarity of game, higher frame per second, better visuals, clear animations, less lag, no stutters and they still have the option to play on a controller that will truly give them every single advantage possible over console players seems unfair.
I am much better at MW3 than I am at BO6 because I instinctively try to utilize a lot of the same gunfight movement tactics that my muscle memory is used to from MW3 and they don’t translate over. This leads to more consistent “meh”experiences and not as much exciting “highlight real” kind of gameplay. I just always feel like everything that I get 2-3 kills on in this game would have been a quad feed or better in MW3 and it just feels frustrating. Not saying my viewpoint is correct, but I find myself more hesitant in a lot of situations where I would typically push, but know the movement won’t let me execute the way I want to.
I think it has a learning curve. I don't like how it sometimes makes me miss doorways and shit but that could be a legit skill problem and just need to get better
I would love to see something done to head glitches..from visual to hit regs..visual is self explanatory..but hit regs I don't understand..if you get a hit and all that is showing is a head..how in the fuk don't I get a registered head shot? Especially with a sniper..I'll get a hit but only take a plate off and not full plates from being a head shot? Like am I shooting their ear?
News flash...COD is based on tactical warfare...don't know if anyone has been in the military or any aspect in which you use a fire arm but in no way do you see people hoping, drop shoting or sliding during gun fire. Yes I understand it is a video game so keep it in there because I do enjoy doing all that movement since i have escaped heavy gun fire using that side slide, but in no way should it give an advantage in a gun fight unless it is a one hit shot gun. So yes the movement king's accuracy should be severely adjusted against them.

Played a few games of plunder because I was bored and comparing it to mw3 it was horrendous, I'd actually rather play wz2 miles before I touch the current state of the game for warzone.

Random question: Proximity chat used to be a super cool feature. Enemy sounds showed up as a red "speaker" symbol, anyone on your team speaking would show up as a speaker symbol with their name. If you hear proximity chat that is supposed to mean that they are in your general "proximity", thus the name. The prox chat is completely screwed up. I don't know whos talking to me and just because you hear them doesn't mean they are close. Is there any feedback on when this will get fixed?

I've not done a lot of testing for this, but when i've noticed i ALWAYS heard the people miles away when i had a UAV up in my Recordings. Could always just be the activator for the Bug.

I personally love sliding/diving engagements 1000x better than jumping. Jumping feels and looks so unnatural and silly and frustrating. That being said, I am an unpopular opinion among my friends, and I accept that.
I fully agree with you, the jumping spider man gunfights are the stupidest mechanic in COD. For some reason your player can jump 5 feet in the air and track headshots repeatedly, but the opposite player's headshot aim is now under your feet? That would make sense back in the advanced/infinite warfare era, exoskeletons and stuff, but here in a standard COD? Also, the Omni as a weird smoothness to certain things that just feels weird in the context of other movements, but I don't hate it as much as I thought I would at the beta. Like diving and firing is much better implemented than the old dolphin dives of like WW2 or vanguard, the weirdly smooth and fast aiming when prone and rotating is definitely a throwback to old arcade feel but I kind of like it. The jumping is just the one mechanic that always feels like it shouldn't work. People don't bunny hop 5 feet in the air repeatedly, and they don't have perfect aim while doing it. All the other mechanics are basically just smoother versions of real movement (okay, slide length IS a bit excessive, but whatever). The jumping is just way over the realm of possible, but they make it a core mechanic every game. I'm glad it's gotten a nerf.

I definitely think they're overthinking it. We don't want the movement to be so fast where it's broken and snaking is gonna be a problem, even thou it would be nice if it was a bit faster. We just want movement that's more fluid. If you compare mw2019 to BO6 movement, yes it is faster but it's also extremely fluid, you don't see the clunkiness that you see in BO6 movement. I think that if they find a way to make the movement more fluid and make omni movement a bit faster, for example the sprint to slide speed whether it be fowards, backwards or sidewards. This would create a bigger skill gap but it wouldn't be something hard to learn for the casual player.
Here's the thing. Call of Duty (2003) had something very close to OMNI Movement. But the differences were that game didn't have sprint, so you ran all the time and at the same speed in all directions, and you could dolphin dive and shoot around corners while diving. This made the majority of players angry and then Infinity Ward patched it out with bunny hop in version 1.2 and they slowed down moving sideways and backwards by a lot. They also got rid of ADS and jumping but you could jump and then ADS. This has already been in the game years ago and history likes to repeat itself thinking no one will notice.
Used to be a casual yet slightly competitive game that most could pickup and play to have fun. Now you need to watch multiple “META” vids to pickup and play

Lol, Good for you, I've always played shooting games my whole life, my fun is getting lots of kills and winning the game. Now every fight involves throwing a coin in the air and seeing which side fell, either I'm going to get shot on my side because I couldn't hear the guy, or I'm going to die because his aim got stuck + getting shot right out of his sight and behind cover. Mainly the fact that I play on the mouse. My KD used to be 5.73, now it dropped to 2.95. Having the desync on servers with low ping, 99% of matches I only find with more than 130 ping. The movement seems to be running on oil and always slipping and even the feeling of landing a sniper headshot is no longer the same.

They should make it where everyone has to be hooked to a machine. The machine reads how fast you run, how fast you can do things like burpees and that’s the speed your character moves 😂

I went back to mw3 to get nebula on my kar98 and level it up and my god the difference in movement is so noticeable, i was having so much fun running around, sliding, jumping etc. it felt so smooth compared to bo6
Honestly (while not a warzone player, and can see how radical changes can feel bad after you get used to something else) I feel like these changes are very similar to how BO1 approached quickscoping, it was something they didn't want to be a part of their game. There was a lot of backlash, but people got used to it and found ways to make sniping feel comfortable. While général movement is a much broader pool of changes, I can see where the devs are coming from design wise. Like they said they even made attachements specifically for certain movement types to cater to different people. I feel when you give a player too much (like default SOH etc mentioned in the tweet) it starts to make the customization feel lacking because you already have it all, especially when we just live in a time where SBMM makes lobbies more sweaty.
COD is not for the devs to play. MW2019 had great basic movement. Sure it intruduced skillgaps, but you should be awarded for learning those skills.

I will forever stand on this statement. Call of duty is no longer a 60hz military shooter. I love the skill gap in the newest COD’s. So if you can’t handle a fun enjoyable diversed cod… go play a tactical shooter or MWII. Omnimovement & jetpacks been cods greatest masterpiece of integration so far, we need new styles for newer gens. But the main issue is promising a fluid game when movement has delays , which are very much annoying
In warzone 3, you could dropshot into jumpshot which not many utilized because it was actually slower than warzone 2, but it was another combo you cam add into movement. Warzone 4 there's no such combination however there is a method to where you can omni dive towards a ledge of a building or window and it would put you in a restand situation if you time it right. Now that was also in mw2/mw3 but with ahooting while diving it gives a different layer to gunfight approach and outplay abilities. Personally, I dont mind the Bunny Hop nerf as if they buffed it, I dont think it would be as practical because for whatever reason i think you're in the air longer than in previous games, so jumpshotting as a whole is not ideal.
I’ve been saying for years that the guns need to bob more when jumping and drop shoting is a crutch that too many people rely on. There was once a time where gun skill mattered not just how much g fuel can be railed straight to the brain.
I hate when I try to go prone to plate up or to pick someone up but no my guy wants to jump backwards it’s so annoying it be getting me killed sometimes

Change slide dive behavior to hybrid I also switched sprint to LB you hold sprint and prone to dive but I had to also switch scope zoom to right stick click but I'm a og so I'm used to change 🤷♂️ 😅

I agree with the dev about jumping mechanic.
I do think though, that they should reduce reload time a bit, improve mantling speed, make it so that you can reload while tac sprinting by default, and in general reduce the effects that make you stunned / slow / unable to act.
Be cool to get the find a party feature back so you can actually find like minded people with mics to play with.

Well, because when you drop shot there and come back up in that little clip in MW 19, there’s less animation, you don’t see the other arm. It just lays down and goes back up where in ops six you can see the other arm push up so it’s going to be a little slower or it would look funny

This is mostly what I do, turn off crossplay and run PlayStation only. Advantage is that I almost never run into cheaters, those seem to be almost exclusively PC players. Disadvantage is that if I want to play warzone I can't find a match, or if I do it's 200ms ping. Doesn't help that I'm in Hawaii, nearest server is LA so a 60ms is my baseline lowest possible, but when it's trying to connect large player numbers it's not possible without the PC and XBOX players.

@@3GH3ST3 I think it's because they need the whole playerbase to make the large lobbies with decent ping. Otherwise you end up in a huge ping lobby and ruin everyone's game. I'm not sure there's a fix, really. Though maybe more servers with faster ping rates in them?
Hi. On the battle pass it’s saying that I’ve got 1,000 cod points through playing the game. I haven’t spent any money, but to get something on the battle pass that you pay for it says that it’s 1,050 cod points. Does the 1050 cod points just get you the individual item that you select or is it more of a bundle? Thanks

We should mention the inflation of double exp. I played a match last night around 2 am and got 16,000 exp from one match of search where I went decently average. I played one today went 9-3 and only received 4000 exp. That’s wild to me
What are they talking about? People still spam jump during gunfights, and when watching the replay, it seems their spam jumping does not affect their aim. They are not even using any perks to increase their effectiveness either.
Idk if people realize that if treyarch starts to speed up the movement even more , it’s going to get a lot harder for the casual player. The better players are going to absolutely sweat the hell out of the movement even more. Also, there are setting specifically for movement already in this game. For people that say they dive when they didn’t mean to, you can turn that option off to only slide. Not only that, but there’s even more settings for movement to personalize your preferred play style. This game is the first cod I’ve played since mw2019. It’s some of the most fun that I’ve had. They already buffed the aiming up by a whole lot. We gotta chill

Jumpshots were a useful tool to beat the campers that like to lay down..the focus on omnimovement is cool but taking away the effectiveness of jumpshots made it easy to lay down and camp
Man I just wish we could have the option to turn off the crazy ass skins/visuals for your experience. You can already disable gore so You don’t see the the death animations so I know it’s possible

In short, I no longer have as much fun playing as I did before. But for those who play just to talk and laugh, for the casual player, it's great. I stopped and maybe I'll come back after a few months to see if it's improved.
The whole point of perks is to fit your play style. Zero base perks is fine in my book. I think this is a fair start point.
yet when QOL Updates that were well received included base perks, theres not much sense in going backwards when the game played will with them

Some QOL may have been necessary in a base movement when Omni didn't exist, and now that Omni is here, maybe adding to base is too much of a good thing? Not saying it is, but we have to agree that the games play differently, and thus not all changes have the same effects?
I wish I could turn off omni moment. I have died more from diving backward unintentionally than killing someone with it.
have you tried changing your slide/dive delay at all? Using tap to slide/hold to dive with a medium delay I actually stopped accidentally diving a lot fwiw
Change your settings as he said, makes it way less likely to happen by accident. That said, I kind of like the backwards dive. It's become my go-to reload mechanic in most situations. Didn't think I would like it, but it's grown on me.
Omnimovement is my favorite update in cod history. Just needs to be smoothed out.

MW3 movement was literally perfect and should be the base movement for the whole of eternity. I couldn’t care less about jogging sideways when I can’t do anything else as quickly as I used to be able to. So annoying! I don’t play as much because of it.

I've been convinced since verdansk the only reason they don't have a console only a crossplay option is because. Some dev likes to pub stomp on console players with their far superior pc. If that option for console cross play was a thing 95% of console players would have it active. Reading his tweet about him not liking bunny hoping and that's why it's out confirms my opinion, imo.
All the sliding and jumping while shooting is just silly. No soldier has ever bunny hopped around a corner in the history of war. They need to get back to basics and make gunplay great again. At this point the game is more about movement than anything else. I don't want to have to run around like a crackhead every time i play to be competitive

It sounds like the developers are actively trying to prevent alienating everyone who doesn't like super aggressive, twitch-shooting playstyle. But it seems kind of odd because the game just punishes the player if they aren't in multiple ways. If you're not sliding instead of walking, pulling out your recoil-less, 100-round drum XM4 and spraying at everyone's crotch getting those quick kills, then you clearly aren't a Call of Duty player.
The dumbing down of mechanics in Black Ops Six is mind-boggling to me. Attachments are super simplistic. Recoil is non-existent. Automatic weapons are head-and-shoulders better than semi-automatic choices. Maps are incredibly simple to allow sweats to Omni-spam movement.
Honestly it would be fine if they kept the system they had in mw3 and added the Omni movement

The reasoning makes sense but the execution feels terrible. I think the way xdefiant handled snaking and shopping worked really well. The more you spam crouch or jump the worse your aimsway gets, significantly. Nerfing certain movements in a fast movement game makes the movement feel really clunky and inconsistent
For me, it's like running on oil and slipping all the time. I 100% prefer the way it was before, I'm not going to pretend that I liked any of it just because it was different and needed changes, for me it changed for the worse in every aspect.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but we get this omnimovement which promises the most fluid movement yet, but they nerf jumping movement. Why? Just give us the whole package of movement, a one off omnimovement game with jetpacks. Slide, dive, jump, fly, wallrun in all directions. Open the full gamut of run and gun options for one game. They will respond to things Treyarch can control. They won’t respond to things Activision controls (servers, ricoshit, and sbmm/eomm). Those will never be fixed as long as Activision is allowed to function as it currently does.

What's crazy to if you go into Resurgence, Warzone, the movement becomes even more "muddy" or "sloppy" than multi-player where if I go into Resurgence I increase my sensitivity level but Resurgence still feels different in movement. I don't even want to play Resurgence, Warzone cause of it. They are ruining BO6

as a kbm player in the top 1%, mwII had the best gun play, and this most recent visual change is trash. idk wtf happened to fps games, but movement used to be a micro skill, not a macro. knowledge, positioning, and gun skill used to be the main factors. not abusing glitches, spamming your left stick/w, and abusing rotational aim assist. this entire year is just poor fps game design.

While PC players that are on keyboard and mouse are at a disadvantage you have to look at all the other advantages they have over console players clarity of game, higher frame per second, better visuals, clear animations, less lag, no stutters and they still have the option to play on a controller that will truly give them every single advantage possible over console players seems unfair.

I am much better at MW3 than I am at BO6 because I instinctively try to utilize a lot of the same gunfight movement tactics that my muscle memory is used to from MW3 and they don’t translate over. This leads to more consistent “meh”experiences and not as much exciting “highlight real” kind of gameplay. I just always feel like everything that I get 2-3 kills on in this game would have been a quad feed or better in MW3 and it just feels frustrating. Not saying my viewpoint is correct, but I find myself more hesitant in a lot of situations where I would typically push, but know the movement won’t let me execute the way I want to.
I think it has a learning curve. I don't like how it sometimes makes me miss doorways and shit but that could be a legit skill problem and just need to get better
Do they mention a fix for the poor fps performance on steam in big map. Been happening a few weeks now with no fix.
I would love to see something done to head glitches..from visual to hit regs..visual is self explanatory..but hit regs I don't understand..if you get a hit and all that is showing is a head..how in the fuk don't I get a registered head shot? Especially with a sniper..I'll get a hit but only take a plate off and not full plates from being a head shot? Like am I shooting their ear?
News flash...COD is based on tactical warfare...don't know if anyone has been in the military or any aspect in which you use a fire arm but in no way do you see people hoping, drop shoting or sliding during gun fire. Yes I understand it is a video game so keep it in there because I do enjoy doing all that movement since i have escaped heavy gun fire using that side slide, but in no way should it give an advantage in a gun fight unless it is a one hit shot gun. So yes the movement king's accuracy should be severely adjusted against them.
