thank you for featuring sultan! as a Lebanese art historian these topics are so important for us to talk about, to understand our artistic heritage which most of us don't even know about. We need to rebuild our identity in these post-colonial times. It could help us unite our people! art can play a huge part in this! more of this, please and thank you! and all my respect to the Sharjah princedom which pours all of its power into cultural work.
The warm thing in this sarde is that the guy is so close to both Moeen and Media, he calls him by their name which feels a bit unusual in sarde but feels so warming. Absolutely great character and wish you have another sarde with him
This is, by far, the best sarde! I couldn’t stop listening to Sultan talking so passionately about art and history, and if this episode was 3 hours long, I would have listened with just as much interest. His knowledge, culture and passion are so tangible and I am in awe of his character.

It was very interesting to hear and learn more about the artist and story behind their art, that I had pleasure to see 2 months ago. Sultan you are very inspiring person for what you do for Arab culture and for your attitude towards this art as your amanah. This should be thought in secondary curriculums across the Arab world.

Arab Artists are "artistic nomads" living in an artistically dry area, in the Hopes of being appreciated. I've never seen an art dealer/enthusiast with such high ethical principles. I hope it's real.
Great sarde. Love to see passionate and educated Arabs share their knowledge and passion. I hope artists get more support in the Arab world and not imprisonment and punishment as has been the case in the past.
Very interesting interview, however it gets us wondering about what is the exact Link, other than the current language and its multiple dialects, that makes Arabs arabs... Europe is uniting by celebrating its many differences and thriving by doing so with amazing artists of both genders and all beliefs, while we are choking our beautiful differences not in the name of unity but in the name of arabism. This could explain, among other matters, the disregard of women's art, or could it? Or do we need to redefine arabism?
This is a very interesting question. What will be the role of amazigh and other minorities? Only contributers to the Arab cause? Only serving the idea of arabness? Under the Arabs

يبدو ان سرده اصبحت تتلقى الدعم من بن سلمان ، لا يوجد مشكله ، ولكن نرجو من السعوديين والخليجيين استقطاب العرب المتفوقين والناجحين في الغرب وذو العقل المنفتح والذين تخرجوا من الجامعات الغربيه بخبرات ممتازه وبعضهم عاطل لا يجد عمل لتعرضه للعنصريه. نرجو مساعدتهم لينضموا الى العمل في الخليج والدول الناطقه بالعربيه بدل من تفضيل الجنسيات الغير عربيه عليهم . حتى في الدول الناطقه بالعربيه يتعرض هؤلاء للتمييز ، لان اسمه ليس غربي .
