Great message. It's >100* here this week and today is trash day. When the garbage men came, I took my two daughters out and we took a few popsicles and ice cold water and sodas out for them. They were super friendly and played with my kids for a couple minutes and showed them the truck. I worked construction in heat like this when I was a young man, it's freaking miserable. I hope we helped make their day better, and even more I hope it helps teach my daughters a lesson.
And if you have time, chitchatting with them when they're not busy is also a great way to make them smile. 😉
