Great video. What’s the initial home requirements to have Josh AI? Do you have to have smart blinds, lighting control, video, and audio pieces already in place and then add Josh? Or do you build out with Josh as the platform then spec out pieces once that’s established? I am almost wrapped up with new construction home and would like to do whole home system like this or savant, but don’t want to start buying components to then not be able to integrate into Josh or Savant in the future for the main controller.
Thank you!! Josh.ai can be stand alone or it can be integrated into some of the third party systems like Crestron, Savant and Control 4. If you are in the stage of new construction and want to take control of the house using voice or have everything into one app, then it would be wise to pick products that naturally integrate with Josh.ai. For instance, if you are gonna do lighting control, then use Lutron. You can use either Caseta or Radio Ra 2 to do that. If you want to do motorized shades, then you'll want the Lutron motorized shades. If you want to add fans, then you should do the BIG ASS fans. If you want to add thermostats, you can do Lutron, Ecobee or Aprilaire. To control all your streaming services, Roku is the best for that. If you want voice to also come out your speakers that you install around your house, then I would stick with using Sonos products. It just works great. Let us know if you have any other questions!! Doesn't seem readily available, but the fees for Josh is it hardware only and software is included. Or is it a never-ending monthly fee
