So about that story of the baby starving from being given almond milk, the mother was told by other people (probably over social media) that it was safe to do and regrets believing it also the baby made a full recovery, while you can argue that the mom was stupid for believing it, it goes to show how dangerous misinformation can be.
I have no sympathy for such stupidity. There were multiple opportunities for this woman to find a legit answer. She couldve consulted a doctor or even done a simple google search on the matter. Finding results that pander to her own idealogy takes at least a little bit of scrolling to find on most search engines. about the almond milk baby, my close friend was adopted and her mom couldn't produce milk naturally, so instead gave her goat milk, since that's closer to human milk than cow. So even if you have a legit reason to need an alternative (like unable to produce via ur own body), then goat milk is a great substitute!

Drug decriminalization (not legalization) would be good. In the counties it has happened, addiction rates have plummeted because they’re seeking treatment not prison. Drugs are bad but people are gonna use themes provide safe places to use and rehabilitation instead of prison. You can get drugs in prison easier than on the street.
My mother was like that, it's not just a bad mom, it's literally abuse. Like not the actual words, making sure your kids eat healthy is not abuse. I have a really, really strong opinion on drug use. I'd be happy if it was possible to ban alcohol too. Lost a cousin to an OD and had another went to prison for robbing a store to get liquor and drug money, not to mention a lot of alcohol problems in my family. I'm not the drinking or partying type myself, so I don't see the appeal, but I have seen a lot of the downsides to it. At the very least I don't think it should be legal to advertise alcohol, smokes or weed at big events or on TV. Keep that shit where people who already want it will find it, but let it be invisible to the average person so we at least make some kind of effort to cut down on new addicts.

So even if you have a legit reason to need an alternative (like unable to produce via ur own body), then goat milk is a great substitute!
There are a lot of options for formula these days. There's even a lactose-free formula which would much better alternative than almond milk.

I have a really, really strong opinion on drug use. I'd be happy if it was possible to ban alcohol too. Lost a cousin to an OD and had another went to prison for robbing a store to get liquor and drug money, not to mention a lot of alcohol problems in my family. I'm not the drinking or partying type myself, so I don't see the appeal, but I have seen a lot of the downsides to it. At the very least I don't think it should be legal to advertise alcohol, smokes or weed at big events or on TV. Keep that shit where people who already want it will find it, but let it be invisible to the average person so we at least make some kind of effort to cut down on new addicts.
