Version 2, for the 1/3/2008 Jewels of the Triangle show. The name of the song is "Yearning", by Raul Ferrando. This version is from the Belly Dance Super Stars, Vol 5 album.
This is a beautiful piece, your musical expression is beyond compare. It looks like you're dancing with your soul out for everyone to see! The performance was just so emotional and strong and so in tune with your music. Incredible, just incredible!!
this is simply beautiful. I love the way you use the veil, its very skillful how to take hold of it during the dance. the music is beautiful too. I've just bought the cd, so cant wait for it to arrive especially after whating you dance.
hi, i held my self from crying because of this song for 4 days now, and i was looking for a bellydancer that would show that same excitement through her dance- fluent, hearty and with a glimpse of sadness. you, in youtube, was the only one to give exactly that. as the one before me said- you surely nailed it. loved it, thanks.
DIOS MIO!! hehe I have loved this song since it came out but I do tribal fusion and felt it couldnt do this song justice- but Miss Deirdre- you hit the nail on the head! I am so inspired! Thank you for this performance. : )
Thank you for your feedback! Useful critique is such a rare gift :) I completely agree about the face - facial expressions became a focus soon after this video. I'm going to have to go back and rewatch the crescendos with your thoughts in mind...
I would not consider this dancer "thick"...she is a curvy hourglass type aka Marilyn Monroe shape. I think of "thick" girls as having less waist definition.
I can't stop watching this. The way you move is stunning.
Omg absolutely gorgeous choreo. Meg always rants about how great your veil work is, now I see why!
Wow! I really love this performance! You are amazing!
