Hi, Terry. Happy New Year. Great video. You are full of ideas and I love it, lots of creativity. I love your heart that you do so much. Charity work 40 premihats a year. Wow, that's something to aspire to. I also love that you like to try to make it kind of a game for yourself, and really challenge yourself. That's great. I don't think I'm there yet, but I am getting ideas from you. That's for sure. I do love to design my own knitting projects. Because I'm losing my eyesight, I have thousands of knitting patterns in books and magazines, and they're getting so much harder to access because I can't see them. So I got a lot more into designing my own work over the last few years, and honestly, I really love it. It's so liberating, and it's just so fun to be creative and to just start picturing things in my mind. Now I have way more designs in my head than I could ever work out with my knitting. It's hard for me to set it aside and make room to continue to learn and challenge myself with crochet. But I keep watching channels like yours, because it helps me to remind myself get back to crochet.

Happy New Year Terri, Mr YarnJoy & Teddy! Great goals! I absolutely love your idea of the cubbyhole challenge!! I need to tidy up mine, but I'm thinking I'll join you with that! The only thing I'll need to think about is that the thicker winter yarns are no fun to crochet with during our summer! So, I may need to have 2 containers, 1 for winter yarn & 1 for summer yarn. I'll probably put a snaplock bag in the container to put the slip of paper into once it's picked. This year I've decided to keep our Christmas tree up, but I'm going to decorate it with Valentine's Day decorations, then St Patrick's Day, then Mother's Day & then Easter! Then we'll put it down & plan to put it up at the end of November to decorate it as a birthday tree for my birthday & then swap the decorations to Christmas decor after about Dec 6th! Normally we only have our tree up for a few weeks & it feels like it's barely up & then it's going down again! I love the pretty lights on it & it's bright & cheery where we have it near my recliner! Sorry... I've written a book! LOL! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨
I think the cubby hole idea sounds like fun, im going to make a scrap type blanket .. whatever yarn the cubby has will be the one i add to the blanket that day .

What a great idea to sort your storage! I am going to make a list of small, med, and larger projects to do and draw those for me to do. I have accumulated several patterns, so I will do a version of “stitch your library” type of thing.
I have 6 afghans going and my goal is to get 2 or 3 completed.. Only this many due to thumb surgery end of January and release date for doing stuff in about 4 months.
The cubby hole projects sound fun.

There’s an app that you can put your knitting patterns on and you can change the font size
