That’s a really cool “Aerocoupe” (I know it’s a 2+2). Thanks for the explanation in your video. I have a 2003 blue-green computer. Do I have to have it programmed like you describe in your video for the earlier red-blue computers?
I don't have any experience with this on a 03-07 ecm but I assume it would be very similar. Possibly a different pin out but the same idea should carry over.
I have just come across you video about the issue I am dealing with now. So I connected Pin No 17 on red connector to my vintage air compressor on my LS swap. I made the changes as well in the hptuners as indicated in this video. So I turned on the AC, the status of “ AC Requested” became Yes but the “Active AC” was showing”NO”, and the idle rpm did not bump up at all. Any idea why the idle rpm remained the same and why the AC mode did not get activated. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. The trims are within limit I believe. LTIT is showing or around -2.7g/s, which is not bad I think. However, I need to make more adjustments once I get done with VE&MAF tuning. Yes I connected pin 17 on red connector to the AC conpressor wire that’s activating the clutch and I am getting “AC requested” signal and indication as “Yes” But AC is still showing inactive.
@@hackjobhotrodshop5075 I need to watch again. I don’t think you mentioned connector color but you pointed to the connector that pin 17 is on which is the red connector. You said in the video to ground pin 17 but you put the text “ground 55” at the bottom of the video, so I knew what you meant. Nevertheless, great video and I hope this solves my issue as I only added the +12v from my switch to pin 17 and it didn’t fix my idle issue with A/C on.
sir this is the most informative vid on ac swap tunes 7 the wiring I have seen thank u very much
Just the information I been looking for. Thank you sir 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
If you use pin 43 red you can use that as ground signal to kick on fans at the same time the ac comes on
This is the video and answering I've been looking for. Thank you!!

Thanks for the info bro
What if you have the factory 2002 ac compressor

Are your idle trims in gear or park within the range I said? Is the computer getting 12v from the AC clutches?

Now i know why my car is cutting off Thanks

Umm on your idle setting in hptuners it lets you set the idle booth with and without the AC on
Yeah, but unless your air flow tables are correct it won't let you go into AC mode where it bumps the idle
Ground PIN 55 on the red plug?
Yeah, did I say blue in the video?
