    A comment on a video from a few weeks back said that it's great that you go into details that others don't. I just want to echo that sentiment, seen this device pop up on a few onebag related travel channels but nobody has mentioned if it has lag or not. Thanks for going into so much detail about that. Will be picking one of these up soon.

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  9 місяців тому +2

      Hey thanks! Yeah, lag was only on the gym television, but I searched the Amazon reviews to see if anyone else had that issue. I think one person had it on an airplane TV, the rest were other random devices. I was wondering if maybe it had to do with the distance, like the airplane TV is right in front of you, but the gym TV is like 30 feet away on the ceiling, so the sound has to travel further? 🤷‍♀️

      @jamesm6830 9 місяців тому +2

      @@OneBagTravels I doubt it's the distance, most likely its crappy gym equipment. It would be worth testing with a wired pair of headphones to compare.

    Ugreen also make this. Its a lot smaller and three times cheaper, also has the same features. Which is also a transmitter and receiver and you can also pair two sets of headphones as standard. Maybe higher quality though unsure.

    How does it work on airplanes with the dual 3.5mm outlet? Do you only get the left or right channel when you’re plugged in? I seen recently they have the pro deluxe model that comes with the additional adapter now, but I’m curious if you need it?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  9 місяців тому +2

      I haven't seen a dual audio input in awhile so I looked up who is still using them. The Reddit post below has mixed results, seems to be mostly a regional thing now, like they're basically non existant on US, European airlines, but SEA and Middle East it's more common to see them? I flew to Jordan in the last fall and I don't remember seeing those. So not sure if it's based on the age of the plane or the airline? Either way, I guess you'd have to get one of those headphone adapter plugs.

    Some airlines seem to use Headphones with two 3.5 mm jacks, perhaps a left channel and right channel. Does the device work with these connections?
    Also, some audio ports are only line in, or line out. Others have a different configuration for speakers and microphone. Which type of jacks does the Airfly work with please?

    • @OneBagTravels
      @OneBagTravels  9 місяців тому +3

      It has a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. I haven't seen one of those double input jacks in years but it seems there are still some floating around, seems more common in the middle east and parts of Asia. If you got one of those you'd have to use an adapter.

    If you are looking to buy this product to use on your TV, you might be able to fix the lag by adjusting your 'delay' on your TV Audio Settings. I may purchase this item and try for myself. Great idea that it can split the audio to two different headphones.

    ALSO It says it's bluetooth 5.0 version but tells us to use 5.2 devices for no latency . Hmm. Does not make sense at all
    Tech Specs - Bluetooth 5.0, Audio Codecs: aptX Low Latency, aptX and SBC audio. Battery Life: 25+ hours Included - AirFly Pro, USB-C charging cable, travel pouch, keychain holder, quick start guide, manual
    NOTES: AirPods must be INSIDE AirPod Case to enter pairing mode and we recommend turning off nearby bluetooth devices like your phone when pairing on planes. AirFly features industry leading Bluetooth with aptX Low Latency Codecs. If you are experiencing anything less than high quality audio, first check the audio source. Regarding latency, ensure your device supports Bluetooth 5.2
