Thanks for the informative video. If I could add something to the understanding of the Difference Principle: One should also consider a situation, where the less privileged get a little more of the shared goods while all the other loose a substantial part of those goods. This would, for Rawls, still be a more just situation.
That is incorrect because if the "all others" suffered a "substantial loss", the "all others" will become (or is actually) the disadvantaged group (in the unequal distribution).
If there is no incentive to work hard (IE inequality in distribution) then there is no incentive to create more wealth which would later be redistributed in some way or another (usually in the form of tax or welfare) to the least well-off group.
This is the first time I've understood this properly! Thank you!
Scratching my head reading Rawls, then watch this video and it’s clear!! Thank you 🙏

question for you (you seem smart) in the difference principle what is being distributed is it money??

Best video I've seen explaining this! Thanks so much
very well ilustrated, thank you!
Good job! Thanks for putting it in terms I can understand!
Amazing 👏 explanation
easy to understand! THANK YOU
im so confuse so it does mean that this principles are merely focuses to the less privileges ?
but why can we say that if everyone is equal, the distribution would be so low? It would be distributed proportionally and so it is higher, no?
