A legacy figure with modern articulation that keeps the original gimmick of the toy is something I havent really seen before, things like Transformers and TMNT focus only on the articulation
I had street sharks back in the 90s when I was a child, I had the great white shark one and another one but I can't remember what the other one was. Brings back the memories
‘Street Sharks’ was one of my favorite ‘TMNT’ inspired series next to ‘Biker Mice From Mars’, ‘Battletoads’ etc. and these figures are a must have for me. Shark/human hybrids that can swim through concrete? I can dig it.
I saw the thumbnail, got extremely hyped, purchased the three of them then watched the video, yes, in THAT order. Street Sharks are all my childhood and were very important for me as a kid and I HAD to get these!! Will definitely get the second batch as well!!
@@sirdork730 Hehe, well, I'll know if I love them once I get them, I mean, I ordered them like one hour ago haha but I'm confident they'll look Jawesome on my shelf!!

everything about this line and how they did it is just so good. the packaging, the feel of said packaging in your hand. the paint schemes. they did not fuck this up.
This is what I’m hoping for 😂 but I’m getting so much nostalgia from street sharks back when they first came out at my local Walmart & I got ripster as a kid (still have it to this day)
You have unlocked a memory of a toy that I COMPLETELY forgot had when I was younger! I can't believe they redid these. I love the photos too!! Also, Im not sure but it sounds like your VO is in stereo. Might want to downmix that to mono so it doesn't sound so weird. Great video regardless!
Hey thanks so much! So glad the memory is unlocked 😆 Audio is something I’m always trying to learn more and figure out. Thank you for that! I will definitely look into it!
I love how they kept the soft rubbery outer layer. My biggest fear was that they would have done away with that and did straight up plastic. Very impressed by these!
Thank you for including the old man he reminded me alot of my grandpa, slightly nosey but not in a rude way just curious, he also looks alot like him same kind of hover chair to, hes been dead awhile now but got to spend alot of time with him, he loved me to death and would always tell me i was his favorite, he was old af but never judged anything i liked or wanted as a kid he just supported it and was involved 100% even from his chair....
We have three of these original toys from the 90s, they were my husbands and now our 3 year old has them. Found this videos searching for episodes of street sharks for him to watch lol. We have Ripster, Jab and Moby Lick
street sharks was a tad before my time but I do appreciate it alot. ive watched it and boy did they miss an opportunity in my opinion to have a major franchise.
Ive collected the Masters of The Universe Origins line sense 2020 and its a great line, basically recapturing the look of the vintage figures while giving them modern articulation. Thats basically what there doing with Street Sharks.😊
I loved Street Sharks as a kid and when they announced these figures I instantly pre-ordered. I had Ripster, slamu and Streeks but I could never find Jab. But now he will be mine.
I'm really amazed how well sculpted and articulated these new versions are --- and how shockingly bad the originals were now especially when compared to these new ones. I'm definitely going to get the complete new series of these! Really solid photography as well! :)
I’m so happy I remember when I first watched street sharks I was like 6 and scrolling through YT and when I saw walking sharks with six packs I was like why not and became a big fan of it
Very nostalgic, I had the killer whale with the long tongue . One of my fave toys ...unfortunately....also my dogs ... throughout his life his tongue was ripped off . Bite marks out of his head ... still played with it though ofcourse he was just cool and battle scarred. I had the same video as you too , that's why I loved the killer whale becuase he was in the videos trailer for the next episode that I never saw !
Im fortunate enough to still have my old Street Shark toys. Some missing their parts like splash nose & Dr Pirahnoid missile. But man I loved the show and this toy line.
Yep that’s the original ripster I had!!! Man I wish I had mine I remember my friends bringing their & we’d meet up with them act like street sharks!! 😂 ohh the nostalgia
Streetsharks and bikermice formmars were two ofmy fav cartoons towatch, such a shame they never got a bigger public/fandom, but a rerelease is pretty sweet!!!
Street Sharks may not have been a huge part of my childhood, but like Garfield it's kind of crept its way into meme status in the shadows of my adult life and I kind of want one of these. Mostly Jab, hammerheads are the best shark.
The figures are cool and just as you mention the articulations make them better. It missing the nostalgia factor for me since I had phase out cartoons then. I did watch Tigersharks. Love the “JAWasome” pun 😂 Simplicity at its best: Street Sharks on the streets
I wish they would bring back some of the 80's toys line like M.A.S.K. , Silverhawks ( smaller figures, not from $50 NECA ) , Dino Riders , and Centurions.

Was not the old toys like soft rubber for the heads and only the hands and legs for hard plastic? I only see them at a friends home where we play whide them.
I still have the original ripster packed up somewhere and even have the complete series on DVD. I do want to pick these up but my main concern is space right now.
