Some songs I master in Fl Studio 20, sometimes its Ozone 9 or 10 and there are times i grab Wavelab Pro 11. Depends on the sound and feel I want to achieve
Thanks Bobby, useful info as always. Years ago I used Sequoia master Suite (I can't remember which version), like it but since I discover Studio One Pro in 2015 and knowing it has a dedicated Mastering section in the same DAW, I always do my masters in there. Flawless, fast, convenient, etc. Great DAW.
Thanks for the encouragement. Studio One Pro user of a few years. Feeling good about the progress so far, there’s more to learn. I like your channel, thanks again.
Thanks so much for this great video and great content. I'm a musician but also an Archeologist, and I love these evidence based approaches to videos. Sonic differences are either there or they are not.
I love Wavelab 9 Elements for fixing noise on vocals and microphone recorded stuff. I can dive deep into the wave and cut, decrease or increase the sound to even out breath or S'es, P's and others. Sometimes it takes hours.😁Everytime it takes hours! It sucks out your life. But in the end the sound is better than starting with a deesser, compressor or limiter. Try it and hate it and love it!😂
My man Raytown where have you been???? What a breath of fresh air sharing all your knowledge with the recording community.this time next year I predict you’ll have over 100,000 subs or even more. Lately I’ve been here and there but find myself coming back to your channel on a consistent basis. Your explanation of everything is very precise. I purchased the abbey road because of the way you broke it down. In your tutorial. I also own some of the plugins in your arsenal . I’m still learning. But learning more since I stumbled across your channel. Quick question which is better the Waves WLM meter or the free Youlean ? Keep up the great work appreciate all you do.
Wow.. that website showing the conversion qualities is cool! I’ve always wondered about the differences between Logic and RX. I always feel guilty when I use Logic instead of RX. Not so much anymore I guess. Lol. I used Wavelab and Cubase for years but when I got my new Mac last year I switched over to Logic. It just made sense with the M1 architecture. Thanks for the video!
I don't really understand the purpose of making this video, the benefits to using dedicated audio editing & mastering software are plenty and plenty of smaller or bigger workflow differences to using a linear DAW setup, and I think you don't mention most of them. Batch processing, pre-set macros, batch rendering, clip effect chains rather than using separate tracks or regions in a DAW, etc. If you master daily, yes you would want a different kind of software than a typical DAW. Why? Well mainly to save lots and lots of time. A content writer can work in photoshop, but who would want that?
sequoia and samplitude are hands down the best I've ever used for making professional CD's
Magix has gone into administration

I don't even master anymore😂. Just one workflow for me. I record, mix, put all effects in master channel and render. 😅

love it . And video forgot to mention DATAS for tracks !! Element is 90 €, price of any plug in
I use the Reason 6 sweep as video projections in my gigs. Very informative stuff and great video, though!

Which DAW us supported AAC export? I'm using Cubase and unfortunately it's not support...
Studio One makes DDP files. But I use HOFA.
I’ve been meaning to get M-A/B for a while now lol thanks for the reminder

Good points, and I agree but think he's talking for his audience tho, his channel is about not letting ppl waste money on unnecessary plugins.
Thank you!
Great video!
