I love your speech at the end of the video. I am a teacher and listen to excuses all day. You really take responsibility and think about how you can do better. You both have a great attitude. Remember - you have to enjoy the journey.
You two are still my favorite Racers. Always keep my fingers crossed for you, when watching your video ^ ^. Be proud of what you accomplished, there are better races still to come. Try to enjoy it is the most important part.
Way to take ownership, you two! The 2018 season looks promising. Sorry that 2017 was such a bear. Thanks for the honest sharing of where you were at. I suspect anyone on a similar journey is going to have some 'fuck this' moments. How you take a hit is very telling of character.
Sorry to hear about the mechanical problems and preparation woes, however, on a positive note, I really like this video. Your editing skills rock. I like the back to back footage and labels. Great job.
Hate to see you guys bummed out, keep it up! You're doing awesome and I'm sure things will come together if you keep pushing and working as hard as you do. Best of luck and best vibes!! Also, those stages were awesomely GNARLY! I'm pretty sure they would've snapped my flimsy hardtail in half lol
Great video! The intro for this channel is better than that of most youtube channels with millions of subscribers. I know you guys are on a tight budget, but maybe invest in gimbals for your gopros, they really smooth out your footage.
That was a good video. I haven't been to Snowshoe since my last NORBA National DH race back in 2003. I definitely need to get back there. The trails look awesome. I totally understand the feeling when racing doesn't go well. One reason why I don't really race much anymore.

Thanks +Nero Inclan! Yeah, it would have been ROUGH on a hardtail!!! 😂
Super "not" weekend... love you guys, you are doing great..
Remember to have fun.
Thanks +Attamaxis ! I like to this of this race as one of those "without frustration how can you understand success?" kind of races!
Syd your dad should have his own channel. Cool guy.
I know and hate that feeling after a race. You guys are doing great, keep up the great videos.
+Jason Bikes thanks!

+Colvin Harvey thanks. We've considered a gimbal for practice POV, but there's no way we could race with them. We'd smash them for sure! 😀

Sometimes easier without chain guide as you can easily place it back on, but once it stuck in between chain guide you need tool.
Great stuff guys! I'm sorry you had a bad time.
+Sebastian Suppes thanks. That's the way it goes sometimes!!!
SYD and MACKY There's always next year too!
+Sebastian Suppes true story!
Sorry about the results. Getting a clean weekend without any mechanicals would be awesome. Keep your chin up...the results will come.
+Brian Vaughn thanks, we're hoping it'll all fall into place one of these weekends!
that stage 6 was the worst for me- loamy, moss, small ups and downs in flats, aaahhh
+Brian Pope yeah, that was a rough one.
that's happen to me before.where stupid chain falls off during the race..
awesome vid tho, good job guys 👍
+El Paso Mountain Bike Rider yeah, mechanicals are the worst!
you all had me breathing heavy, of course i sound like that pretty much going up, down, flat.........etc.
+David Candelaria yeah, going downhill can be hard work!
Nice video!!!! Is the huge drop optional?
Yup! And the go around isn't much slower.
SYD and MACKY thanks I’m gonna do this event next year
Great video. Snowshoe mountain is much easier on a dirtbike. LOL.
I hate a messy number two as well🙂
As a fellow mtb and a mountaineer. YOUR RIGHT OUR TRAIL ARE DESIGNED TO KILL YOU
Ditch the Shimano and jamis, you'll be happy you did
John Watkins yeah because sram is sooooooo reliable 😂😂
😂
