I was watching a UA-cam short of Pudding Creek Rod Shop. And on a old roadster was setting what looked to be the top of your dragster. It is the top of a coupe same color of blue.

IN THE .30s - 60s ...I grew up at all south cal raceways in the 60s & 70s...orange..lions..Pomona..irwindale etc.. went to high school with the son of the owner of CARLSBAD RACE WAY ...lived like a mile from the strip ..

I’m getting a little ahead but would you be thinking of a pointy nose from the front of the cowl beyond the front axle. Thank you for all the kind words. I’ve got the chopped 32 Truck shell w insert that was orig on the car and the hood. The hood is funky. It’s a narrowed jeep hood with a raised center w a relief cut for the single carb that he ran on the flathead. It’s really neat. I’m planning on running both of them. It’ll be stubby in the front. But it should look pretty cool. I shortened the wheelbase so I’ve got to shorten the hood.

I get it, so there’s that! I actually set out to build a modified roadster with my Bantam but NHRA dropped those classes before I got too far along so it became a B/altered instead. I can’t find much information on modified roadsters online so I guess you’ll have to educate the doubters!
First, if they had youtube in 1958 this is exactly what you would see with the exception of a couple tools. Second, some people need to do a little research before they comment on something.
I've noticed on my channel comments, that the Kryin' Karens don't produce any of their own videos. So they have no idea how much extra work it takes to put videos out, than to just do the work.
