- Classic Race Car Exhibition Revival Circuit Nivelles-Baulers Belgium
As part of the Grand Prix Revival Nivelles-Baulers there was a classic racing car exhibition in the city center of Nivelles, Belgium.
Nivelles-Baulers was a race track that hosted the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix twice. Both races were won by Emerson Fittipaldi.
The track opened in 1971 and closed in 1981 because of financial trouble. The Nivelles-Baulers Circuit was only 3.7 Km long, because the circuit owners couldn't buy the nessacary land. They want to built the full track in two phases, so a shorter version opened first.
But when the track was open, the land owner want more money for the ground for the proposed extension. That was too much, and so the Nivelles-Baulers Circuit was never finished.
After it's closure in 1981 it was used for illegal racing. In 1998 they start with the preparation works to redevolep the abandoned circuit into a business park.

Thanks
The Alfa Romeo Montreal sounds great.
Indeed
Sorry to hear about it, but still a nice story to get to tell, having gotten the Ascona's spoiler broken at Tarzan corner. It's the type of anecdote that fits the channel, somehow.
It's part of the game hahaha. It was during a rain shower in the second lap after the start. So it was the first time we enter the Tarzan Corner at full speed.
A few corners before I made a mistake, which I wanted to compensate by taking some risk with braking for the Tarzan Corner. I still had the braking point in mind from the last time it rained. But this time the track was so slippery that I couldn't slow down enough and drove into the gravel trap.
Funnily enough, I even see Formula 1 drivers making this mistake. First a small mistake that they want to compensate for, which results in a bigger mistake.
@@Circuitsofthepast Yes, I was going to say, far from the last time someone took a too big risk braking for Tarzan corner 😂 I bet we'll see the same again this year.
