it's nice to see that fans can pull together to make things like this. it's always been a dream of mine to be a movie, these people did really good and should be praised for their hard work and dedication.
I've watched this whole Odyssey series several times through, as well as Hidden Frontier, Helena Chronicles, and Federation One. They all have interwoven narratives, like a novel. The characters are very well developed. And it all seems so real and believable. Highly enjoyable.
The ship's surgeon bears a bit of resemblance to Tom Ellis' "Lucifer Morningstar" similar face, haircut, 5 o'clock shadow, even voice & accent.....are we going to find out he's actually the Devil in a future episode?😆
I’m really starting to groove on Odyssey. Some really decent acting and writing. Actually exciting. Good job all! Yeah, I know I’m Way late to the party, but it’s still going! What a cool tribute.
It is a good concept and a high level for fan films. I think the stronger acting was from The Sub Commander, The Second Officer and The Medical Officer. The weaker performances were from the Archinen, save the The Maj Jan's Paramour, he seemed believeable. Unfortunately, The Captain's performance was weak. However, none of the acting was bad. I would write it somewhat differently, but it is a servicable storyline. Hopefully, the acting will improve as the stories progress. Nicely done.
So i see good comments and bad. I just want to say that at least you guys did something. I know you don't have millions for sets and cgi. You stuck with it and made something enjoyable. Seeing this almost 5 years later makes me wonder if you guys are still working on fan films or even moved on to something much bigger. Good luck in your travels.
WELL, I guess what he said at the close of the last eiside was Right, Corey won't recognise him. In fact, I didn't when the episode opened. He looks totally different!
He's a tall, dark-haired Darrin and he's a tall, dark-haired Darrin. I'm sure the audience won't know the difference, since Sam is still the same. Endora certainly can't tell, but that may be another issue entirely. Did I mention that they are both Dicks?
Hahaha, pesky humans. That Federation vessels in Star Trek seem to experience bizarre malfunctions with such overwhelming frequency isn’t just an artifact of the television serial format. Rather, it’s because the Federation as a culture are a bunch of deranged hyper-neophiles, tooling around in ships packed full of beyond-cutting-edge tech they don’t really understand. Endlessly frustrating if you have to fight them, because they can pull an effectively unlimited number of bullshit space-magic countermeasures out of their asses - but they’re as likely as not to give themselves a lethal five-dimensional wedgie in the process. All those rampant holograms and warp core malfunctions and accidentally-traveling-back-in-time incidents? That doesn’t actually happen to anyone else; it’s literally just Federation vessels that go off the rails like that. And they do so on a fairly regular basis. So to everyone else in the Star Trek universe, all humans are basically Doc Brown. Aliens who have seen the Back to the Future movies literally don’t realise that Doc Brown is meant to be funny. They’re just like “yes, that is exactly what all human scientists are like in my experience”. The only reason Scotty is chief engineer instead of someone with a species with a higher technological aptitude is because everyone from those species took one look at the Enterprise's engine room and ran away screaming. Vulcan Science Academy: Why do you need another warp core? Humans: we’re going to plug two of them together and see if we go twice as fast VSA: Last time we gave you a warp core you threw it into a star to see if the star would go twice as fast Humans: Hahaha yeah... It did though. VSA: IT EXPLODED Humans: It exploded twice as fast! Humans in Star Trek are Team Hold My Beer, I Got This.
This series was an ambitious project, very well executed with good graphics, fine acting and character development. Plot is very complicated with some very interesting science possibilities. Well worth watching.
Haha! You sure have an interesting taste. Her temperament will have to be tolerated AFB (Away From Bed) as well. Imagine you have kids who will have to put up with your screaming at each other. OK, that got a little more serious than I intended, lol. She has the externals though, I'd agree with that, even though it's severely distorted by her contentious, asocial personality.
Good story. Excellent acting, dialogue, and interaction. Not perfect, but, damn close. The end where you log the lieutenants death was short, yet very moving. I felt a sense of loss and was, truly, saddened. Great work, all around, from everyone involved. If this was redone with a bit of polish and, actual, sets and some cg, it would be flawless. A bit, meaning, not much at all, because, in it's current state, it's amazingly well done. It all seemed very real, and believable. Also, the doctors voice sounds just like Liam Neeson. Pretty much identical.
I love Star Trek and this show is no exception. but has anyone noticed that often in battle the Captain and the first officer are the first to die even though there usually in the middle of the bridge away from all the controls that usually explode. what the hell?
Since they are in the Andromeda galaxy, they would be a bit more than 2.5 million light years. According to Google, Andromeda is 2,538,000 light years from Earth.
Just watched the first of these, and I think they are very good. The attitude of the various females is too 'feisty' at times, but the General's character is well-portrayed and the acting and storyline entertaining. Well done, and thanks!
Please I hope these movies progress past the cat fighting! omg!! nearly for the whole movie! I give it a thumbs up because it's free please whoever wrote this STOP the bloody arguing!!!
Enjoyed this very much. Glad I stuck with the first. Not gonna repeat any of the complaints, just note improvement and look forward to more in episode 3. 😎
Previously on Star Trek: Odyssey... "Will Corey recognise me?" Well considering his character is played by a different actor, I have some serious doubts. 😂🖖
Light is actually made of particles. The bright steaks that you see going past the ship at warp, are particles of light that are caught and suspended in motion, but you see them as streaks because the ship is going by them so fast, they are not stars though they may be light particles from stars. Sort of like a picture taken at night with a slowed down long exposure of many moving car head lights, you don't see the cars, you just see many long continuous streaks of lights on the roadways. (Also its a good way to show that the ship is in motion.) And, if not for the Main Deflector on the front of every ship those particles of light, and space dust, would tear the ship apart at warp speed.
I like this show and am getting to know the characters. except the enemy they are facing. I guess after the Borg and the Dominion. this enemy falls flat. the only reason that they are a threat is because of there numbers because the Federation alliance was beat up from the Borg and the Dominion
Better! :-) The study of what happens when command is thrust upon someone is always facinating. But when it's dropped on you like a planet... WOW! And to have the different personalities to deal with. I think what helps is the 1st Officer has had command experience. But, is seeing a different command style for the first time. Or at least the making of that style. Reminding him not to let crew deaths effect him to the point of not being able to make a Command Decision. Then those first decisons leading to a supply of anti-matter, taking a brain-dead crewman off life support. And finally sittng in the Captains Chair for the very first time. Not bad for the first six weeks of command... Bravo, great story!!
Watching this after watching episode 1.....Am I crazy or is the Captain different? EDIT: Also why do ST "Bad Guys" always have such terrible lighting aboard their ships and in their bases?
Yes, I spotted it also, the federation design is kind of mixture of previous ships, But Im glad for Sovereign class to appear in searies, not only in movies. What i like tho most is the design of alien vessels and technologies which I find very inovative. (not so the race, looks too humanoid to me and drags it back in TOS era I think.
With Odyssey I started to like amateour Star Treks. Very great plot! I like the characters a lot, effects and interiours are also good. Is this also written by Gene Roddenberry or is this your own script? If so, I want you to know, that carries original Roddenberrys message of democratic ideas even more than ST Enterprise.
What happened to the Ro character he suddenly went from dressing his first officer down for contradicting him in front of crew to allowing his security officer to call the shots and bitch with his first officer? Its as if he was a different person lol.
it's nice to see that fans can pull together to make things like this. it's always been a dream of mine to be a movie, these people did really good and should be praised for their hard work and dedication.

Thank you for doing this! It's nice to know that if Paramount isn't willing to make real Star Trek anymore that the fans are!!!!
The actor playing the doctor is a good actor.
I've watched this whole Odyssey series several times through, as well as Hidden Frontier, Helena Chronicles, and Federation One. They all have interwoven narratives, like a novel. The characters are very well developed. And it all seems so real and believable. Highly enjoyable.
I love This. Star Trek the way fans love it!
this poor crew cant catch a break great show well done
This is really descent. Job well done guys and thanks from a Trek starved enthusiast!
Odyssey has some good action. Thanks.
The ship's surgeon bears a bit of resemblance to Tom Ellis' "Lucifer Morningstar" similar face, haircut, 5 o'clock shadow, even voice & accent.....are we going to find out he's actually the Devil in a future episode?😆
Bit late, but... not entirely inaccurate.
You guys really have it together. If I didnt know better, I would think Paramount produced these. Great job.
I’m really starting to groove on Odyssey. Some really decent acting and writing. Actually exciting. Good job all!
Yeah, I know I’m Way late to the party, but it’s still going! What a cool tribute.
Thanks for captions!! I enjoyed the show!!

The Odyssey seems to be a hybrid vessel. A Galaxy class hull with a Sovereign class saucer section.
This is surprisingly well done and its is hard to belive that its just a fan film
great film
"The Wine Dark Sea" is from Homer's Odyssey often mistranslated as the "purple sea."
WELL, I guess what he said at the close of the last eiside was Right, Corey won't recognise him. In fact, I didn't when the episode opened. He looks totally different!
Same Character, different actor.
He's a tall, dark-haired Darrin and he's a tall, dark-haired Darrin. I'm sure the audience won't know the difference, since Sam is still the same. Endora certainly can't tell, but that may be another issue entirely. Did I mention that they are both Dicks?
I think the previous actor was on some professional films. Probably had to leave for other work.
Hahaha, pesky humans.

Ha ha ha yes very astute and funny well done on this comment
I remember this Tumblr thread. USS Pegasus and USS Discovery were especially funny in this context.
I like that.
Great character development and the right amount of drama relative to the action. Nice work! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Awesome. Show
This series was an ambitious project, very well executed with good graphics, fine acting and character development. Plot is very complicated with some very interesting science possibilities. Well worth watching.
Excellent.
I wish that these were full seasons because it would've been great to see.
Nice.
Voyager: we're 70,000 light years from home.
Oddesy; hold my beer.
@mac1701e Sorry, they're not available on DVD. You can download them from our website though.
I'm in love with a Romulan chick LOL!
Haha! You sure have an interesting taste. Her temperament will have to be tolerated AFB (Away From Bed) as well. Imagine you have kids who will have to put up with your screaming at each other. Just like my exes. I have a type and it seems to be Romulan.
Fancy seeing the rock band KISS in Star Trek..ha ha
So far, so good!
This is a well-done series! Good writing and fine acting!
i love these they are great.
Heavy deuterium is Tritium ..it has own name
yay ! More ! thanks !
U rock!!
Great episode. Tremendous acting!
dialogue at @2:30 --the planet's been either unmanned or abanndoned? The station/outpost maybe?
Looks like one size fits all uniform tunics.

Doctor looks like Lucifer. 😊😊😊

Trained* Step-up*, damn I need to stop typing in the dark naked! =)
Since they are in the Andromeda galaxy, they would be a bit more than 2.5 million light years. According to Google, Andromeda is 2,538,000 light years from Earth.
Spock approves of this observation ☺
Irony the smaller ships sound like Cylon Raider
This is actually pretty good.
Every Officer (not just regular 'red shirts') are rained in command. This is just that, stup up and command her, and get your crew through.
Just watched the first of these, and I think they are very good.
The attitude of the various females is too 'feisty' at times, but the General's character is well-portrayed and the acting and storyline entertaining.

May they will kiss and make up lol.
I LOVE HF THANK YOU ALL STARTREKMAN
I know it's good to make average skirmishes in human relations but this was #OVERKILL. Other than that, great flick!
The blue witch looks like Margaret Hamilton
Enjoyed this very much. Glad I stuck with the first. Not gonna repeat any of the complaints, just note improvement and look forward to more in episode 3. 😎
star trek: odyssey "PMS" more like
Previously on Star Trek: Odyssey... "Will Corey recognise me?" Well considering his character is played by a different actor, I have some serious doubts. 😂🖖
Yeah, I noticed that too (just started watching this episode). What happened? Why the change? Anyone know?
Is the sub commandee a Kligon/Romulan mix?
I would like more back story on her and the Mauge please
I liked the first captain fine, but the new guy better!
Dat general is smart

I think he is referring to that fact that it is a different actor...
i guess the ep 1 commander ro didnt cut it so they recast him /
Special effects on showing the ships are great, acting needs some help. It's not Star Trek Renegades with Walter Koenig and others from StarTrek.
This rocks, I was laughing from beginning to finish
What happened to the previous actor who played the comander?
Stadi...so it's her sister
Wow, OK, that was unexpectedly good. Actually, really good! I'm going to go have a lay down to get over the shock XD
What happened to the first captain?
I prefer Brandon McConnell as the Captain. He is much more like a Bajoran would be. Michelle Laurent as Sub Cammander T'Laura is great too on this
why does she SCREAM at the captain?!? send te bych to the brig!!!
Hulls must be neutronium on the Arkin ships if Quantum torpedoes can not penetrate there hulls laaaawd Star fleet ya gettn weak
I like this show and am getting to know the characters. except the enemy they are facing. I guess after the Borg and the Dominion. this enemy falls flat. the only reason that they are a threat is because of there numbers because the Federation alliance was beat up from the Borg and the Dominion

Just me or did Ro transform?
are they changing the acctors by the throw of dice?
are you going to make anymore this is fab i love it
lmao. is that a different guy playing Ro?
Watching this after watching episode 1.....Am I crazy or is the Captain different? EDIT: Also why do ST "Bad Guys" always have such terrible lighting aboard their ships and in their bases?
Because only good guys pay their utilities on time.
Yes Ro ended up with a different actor.
i was wondering... How much does one of these show cost?
Fleeing from the Yankee Tyranny, the Battle star Robert E. Lee leads a rag tag Confederacy of humans on a quest for a shining planet
Yes, I spotted it also, the federation design is kind of mixture of previous ships, But Im glad for Sovereign class to appear in searies, not only in movies. Por favor domo muchos los de habla hispana, subtitulen!!!!!
This would be good if it weren't for 99% of everything being green screen!!
Pretty good show.
Someone should chime in and tell her that being outraged does not mean straining your jaw muscles however. She looks like she's chewing gum.
Why did Ro take off his earring?
Oh no! I was only watching cause I liked the actor who played the main guy!! Why?!
I hope the green screen get better.
"I have an unsettled feeling about being here." So basically 'you've got a bad feeling about this'
Lol!! Awesome reference!
Did you catch 'Did you know my parents? How did they die?"
I didn't realize Luke was crossing over to Star Trek
The phrase: "the wine dark sea," is a quote from Homer. And I don't mean Simpson. Doh!
What is the web addrss of the main site?
why do they don't upload in HD?
James Stewart This is 4 years old. Did UA-cam support HD back then?
+irrevenant3 It did, actually.
+irrevenant3 UA-cam had 1080p since November 2009
+GrnArrow092 What??? the highest quality is 360p thats not HD. UA-cam had 1080p since November 2009...
+Daddy James Tutorials +GrnArrow092 Interesting. I stand corrected.
How far from Earth are they?
OBVIOUSLY Starfleet does not give rank by acting ability. XD
Nice green screening.
What happened to the Ro character he suddenly went from dressing his first officer down for contradicting him in front of crew to allowing his security officer to call the shots and bitch with his first officer? Its as if he was a different person lol.
good, "they have the same types of stars", they needed the chemical and they went for it, some sort of changes
This series is proof that Trekkies and virginity aren't always complementary.
Where is the other captain D: he was hot too
Alex Leonardi It seems he was a Time Lord disguised as a Bajoran and he underwent a traneformation.
You mean Voyager.
Why did they change the young Capiain? The first guy did well. The change is jarring
