No, she is right. It is just a few adversities in life. Would you give up your life if we did not learn from my life experiences in wars? From where do we learn? Even though we are in 2024, there are wars taking place that have not been done before, and most of them are against children and women. If a child lives with him, life continues. Isn’t it easy? His personality is not like that. He wont end his life. I just feel sorry for his mom.
My father also keeps a ledger. He writes almost everything down besides the expenditure. He has written about the good days his children made him feel. In one of his ledger from 1994,he had written about buying his first couple stuff for him and mom like mugs,towels,etc. I found it by chance and it's so lovely.
I also keep a ledger where I write down my important expenses. I learned to keep a diary from him and I am so happy when I look back. He also keeps files for 4 of us( Me and my three younger sisters) that records all our school years including school calender,fee slips and stuffs. I always say it's too much accounting for him but it reminds us about certain important things which we might forget so it's good. Hope you'll start keeping a ledger like your Mom suggests. It's worth it.
