Thank you for this how to play video! One question we ran into concerns the rules for playing runs. As far as we could tell… you have to follow the number of cards in a given run and make sure the final number is higher (or from a higher ranking clan) compared to the previous player’s run.
For example, if a player lays down a 4 card run with numbers 3/4/5/6… and the 6 card has only 1 jewel (the lochen clan)… then the next player could play a 4 card run that ends with either A: a 6 with 2 or more jewels, or B: a number higher than 6 (so a 4/5/6/7 run would be acceptable)
    Does this sound correct?

So, if you start the tournament and you have a Dragoness, what's to stop you from playing her for an automatic win?
Also would everyone else be in second place and awarded two points?

Looks like a lot of fun. I just picked this up on Amazon and I'm learning the rules. It seems straight-forward, but the only issue I can see is that we have a player who is visually challenged and might have trouble seeing all of the jewels on the cards to understand the card strength, but I still think we can make this work.

Hello! Thanks for playing it. The rulebook does have a list of the clans by name in order of power, so that may help the player who is visually challenged. Let us know how it goes!

I think you got one detail wrong - according to the handbook, when you pass you’re out of the challenge, not the tournament

For two players get rid of the dragoness, reduce to 4 clans, use 1 page, 1 knight, 1 squire, and 2 revive. Before you deal give each player 1 revive, and shuffle the rest of the cards and deal out 12 additional cards. Boom. Only do high card, no runs or pairs etc.

Hello, to play with four people, I have to grab five clans so I can grab any of the eight clans ???

You are welcome to choose any of the clans, yes. I suggest the first 5, so it's easier to remember which one is highest and lowest. But you can choose any 5.
