I was thinking they will be a top 4 team for sure. They have play makers all over the field and the OL will be really good as well. Thanks for watching!
For sure.. this team reminds me alot of our last great all around team who, weird enough, played Florida in the Natl Champ in 2008.. But this team reminds me of the team that was led by RS Freshman Sam Bradford in 2007.. they are great but still need to grow just a bit all around.. which now all these great players got tons of playing time and a big time win in a big time bowl game so the stage is set for them to go all the way next season.. Most of the big time players will be back and even better! Youre right.. barring any crazy injuries or suspensions.. might as well put your money on OU winning it all next season.
I was at OU in 2006-2007.. arrived the exact same year Bradford and Demarco Murray arrived.. fall of 2006. Got to watch Peterson play his final year (junior season) in person every home game of '06.. Just sucks Bradford redhsirted that year and Peterson was basically wasted that season since Paul Thompson wasnt even close to being as good as Bradford.. Then again, I was the only person I knew of who thought Bradford was gonna win the starting job over Joey Halzle. He wasnt very highly recruited which is insane considering hes still the most accurate deep thrower (although Rattler has an unreal arm.. although he throws far more INTs than Bradford ever did) Ive ever seen. Can only imagine what that yeam wouldve done in 2006 if Bradford hadnt redshirted and if Broyles hadnt stolen gas and got into some trouble before the season started. God I miss those days.. Walker 5 West represent!
I never played organized football, but sometimes the OU tackles give away the play by their stance. I remember when Orlando Brown was there you almost knew when he was about to pull because he'd almost stand up straight in his stance. Great content as usual!
That is definitely true. Last night on their Ace set with the fullbacks it seemed like the one that was going to pull was a bit deeper. Thanks for watching!
@@Senio25 I remeber watching a Chip Kelly clinic where he would sometimes purposefully only a run a play out of a certain look so the next team would be really aggressive. That might be a thing that Lincoln is purposefully trying to give away to make his PA, RSO, and QB Read Game more effective.
You talk about the receiver blocking later, but that first clip really shows how big the alley gets when the corner follows Wease as he blocks the safety
We have some really good replacements in Jalen Redmond and Kennedy Brooks. Both of our opt outs and Jalen had more sacks than Perkins while Kennedy was our leading rusher!
Great suggestion and I would like to but would get hit with copyright issues if I did. Something that I have learned from some of my early videos. Thanks for watching!
@@coachescaviar8898 dang.. The rules of Yt and copyright are confusing. As a student of the game and these new innovative offensive concepts; I just absolutely LOVE your videos.

He underwhelmed through the majority of the season (the whole OL as a unit really did so I guess that's why) after a strong campaign for two years as the guy. He seemed to finish strong from the Bedlam game on though. High character guy who plays the center position cerebrally. I think he would be psyched to play with Kyler again.
Yes it has been their main running play since coach Riley got there. they did get away from it this year and did not run it like they have in the years previous. Thanks for watching.
Thank you!
Casual fans don’t realize how dominant OU’s run game/offensive line is. Place your bets now on OU winning it all next year

Coach B is one of the best in the biz. He puts those O line guys in the league

I keep forgetting that Kennedy Brooks will also be back next season! That's a big help to our offense.

Still, if you know what's coming but can't beat the blockers its a moot point. Agree?
But they run the gt counter a lot an pass instead of running the ball. Also I've learned that if you do something really well. It still hard to defend
@@SugoiEnglish1 I was just pointing it out. What's happens after the ball is snapped is another story

No doubt. Vs man to man it is easy to take two for one a lot of times by blocking the safety. Thanks for watching!
Hopefully Losing Stephenson, and Perkins wont hurt to much....we need someone to step up!
I think the young guys will have a chance to be pretty good. Stephenson not coming back though was surprising. Thanks for watching!

*Just a suggestion*
Could you maybe show the whole play at normal speed first,
The rewind and break down every detail of what we just saw

Just imagine if this was one of Oklahoma's better lines, would have been brutal.
Nice breakdown.
Thanks for watching!
excellent breakdown! Oklahoma was "men" vs "kids"! Florida coaches had no answers......that head coach for Florida needs to go bye bye!
Nice breakdown. Oklahoma had answers vs every front.
Counter is a very versatile concept that can attack most fronts if you rep it enough. Thanks for watching!
Quick question for OU fans... how did Creed Humphrey fare this past season?? Wouldn't mind if he got drafted to AZ

Gonna be a better line next year as well!
Except for the fact that Oklahoma runs the counter as their main running play. Have for years. Don't run it that much?

O line wasn’t as good this year. Had to switch to zone concepts quite a bit.
so what you're basically saying........Florida got dat ass whooped !!
Nice video, helps me learn O line play. OU blocker absolutely destroys the Florida LB @ 5:20 haha
LOL! No doubt! Glad it could help. We aren't guru''s or anything but if you need any other info don't hesitate to reach out! Thanks or watching!
