- Master planning isn't always the top-down imposition of a grand scheme. Once connected to the river Thames and to acres of marshland the East London village of Rainham has been cut off by a series of clumsy infrastructure projects. But over the last decade a mix of architects and urban designers have been trying to reconnect Rainham to the river through a series of small, sensitive projects that might help to redefine master planning.

Huge shame this is not available in HD. Odd choice for something so recent.
Architecture Foundation stuff always feel like advertorials - regardless of who the director is. RIBA even does more critical stuff than the AF.
