I was an independent manufacturer's rep for 35 years. Your segment/presentation in this video is outstanding. Great energy, great knowledge of features, a little humor and no "uh" and "like" in your presentation. Nearly flawless. I would recommend any young sales rep watch this video simply for your presentation. Well done. Nice truck too.
something huge that got left out that i recently discovered is the new 2020 superduty’s have the auto fold mirror option in the dash settings so now you don’t have to get FORscan just to add that feature it’s already built in, now just change the setting and lock your rig and mirrors auto fold. love it!
Want a tip, to get the keypad code the easiest way. Look for your under your dash. Not sure which side on the super duty but on all Fords I've ever looked at, there is the smart junction box and printed on it is a barcode with six digits on it. That's your keypad code. I know on focus the unit is on the driver side under the soft panel. Flex it's on the passenger side. F150 has it on the driver side over the brake pedal. Don't waste your time with the keyfob trick.
Perfect timing Mitchell. I am buying a new 19 or 20 superduty 350 this month. I want the tremor package but had no idea that I had to give up 5k in towing capacity ! You just saved me big time. Thank you.
@Town and Country TV , it is my understanding, and it is in the Ford PDF that the F350 Tremor I have on order will have a 5th wheel capacity of 21,900. Can you confirm that, or do you have other documentation that supports something different?
Ordered a 2020 F250 Lariat Diesel CC SB 4x4 around Christmas time. Now I'm approx. 5 weeks into my 12-14 week waiting period for my custom build. Great video to hold me over until the real deal gets here.
That’s why I’m driving a 13 year old pickup. My dad said he used to buy a tractor in the spring and pay the bank back in the fall. He could pay cash for a pickup and it had heater and keys. It was for work. Now pickups cost three times what it cost him to build my childhood home in 1973.
That piece of crap? Won't even last 50.000 miles without spending a fortune in repairs which would/should be covered under warranty, but Ford will screw you out of your warranty coverage.
Great knowledge on the product. Refreshing to see someone who understands truck talk. My budget is 50k thinking about the 250XLT. The Tremor is nice but it sounds like it rides to stiff. I rarely leave the pavement and prefer a smooth ride.
Okay, so we ARE clear on the 2020 F-250 being lowered (roughly) one inch from the 2019 model. But what about the 2020 F-350 single rear wheel?? Is the new 2020 one ton F-350 lowered as well?
Very nice video! I didn't know most of these items. Question - why is it the truck can move the steering wheel for trailer backup assist but not for lane keep on the freeway?
A working man can no longer afford a new or used truck. Still driving a 2001 F-150 that runs great. Ford builds a good truck but they are too expensive.
Ralph Wilson If I’m not mistaken you can get an XL for like 34-40k. That’s what you can get a car for. Payments not too crazy, and at the end of the day, it is a work truck, so why really go any higher than an XL?
I have put on 1500 miles on my new 2020 Lariat its a Beast but if i set cruise and drive like im not 20 years old it gets amazing fuel economy for a 3/4 ton truck. Sips like a minivan. Few downfalls backup camera glitches from day one and they are on backorder for repairs, ford pass app is slow and staginant compared to the last brand i had. The remote start keyfob is giving me headaches working sometimes and not others. I noticed shifting into tenth gear only works sometimes. It usually sits in 9th.
Thank you for your well explained knowledge, I just traded in my 2017 for a 2021 superduty and I was not show anything about it. Literally still learning about it as we speak, they should sent you around the country teaching all sales people for Ford what they're selling. Once again thank you.
I have the smaller 2016 F150 Lariat and I'm still learning things about it! I once was a chevy/GMC fan until I drove my first FORD F-150 for working in the woods back in 2009. I was skeptical about the ford trucks but after using the F150 for working in the woods I was impressed and jumped ship. Been buying Ford trucks ever since. Unfortunately, my employers buy only GM (Because they are inexpensive) which makes no sense to me. The 2003 F150 super crew was driven by our forestry technician crew until 2019. The truck was driven on logging roads and the only reason our forest technician crew isn't still driving it today is because some moron we had for an employee one summer rolled it going to fast on a dirt road. Needless to say, that wing nut lasted only one summer. Had I been the boss at that time it would've been his last day of work.
Yeah, that's because they package everything. Platinum and Limited. Can't get one feature without paying for 20 others you didn't want. I hate that system.
All these 'cooled' seats ever have had is the ability to DRAW AIR down THROUGH those little holes. There has been no 'air conditioning' blowing up through them. Just drawing air down into them, away from the person sitting there, keeps them cooler and non-sweaty. It's a good system - and the air goes INTO the seats, not out through the little holes.
I just purchased a 2020 lariat and noticed that my side steps came with a black plate behind it stamped with superduty. Why is it that some come with it and some do not? I think its a nice touch up feature and is probably there for functionality as well.
hey never seen any answers yet. How do you start the new 2020+ vehicles when the key fobs dead? i know the older models had little holders for the key and secret compartments. what about the 2020 escape, explorer, edge etc etc.? thank you
You seem very knowledgeable about F series trucks. I have a question on 2018 King Ranch produced 1/2018 and I want to add second fob remote. I only have one fob. Is there a user level procedure to add it with out second fob already programmed?
One of the new features on the new SYNC system I really like, is being able to have more then 6 presets to be able to scroll through. You can also set AM/FM and Sirius stations on the same presets without having to switch between.
10 years ago a lot of these features were available on top of the line bmw 7 series cars for over 100k.. so here we have all the same features and more on a pickup truck for way less money.... so all the luxury of a bmw in a truck that's actually usable for work and is every bit as comfortable for way less money.. i say its worth it...
Very good video! My new 2020 F 250 Lariat is currently in production and I should have it about the first week of August, I can;t wait! My old truck is 2008 F 150 XLT which I loved, but it is time for a new one. I feel I get my money's worth out of every vehicle I purchase.
You can add that the front camera on some trim levels has a camera washer . Just hit the front camera button on the dash and hit your windshield wiper washed button
I didn't read very far down in the comments and/or I missed something in the video... Why can't the truck assist with lane departure if the mechanism is already in place for the trailer backing assist?
Thanks for confirming the lower towing capability of the Tremor package. That is not clarified on any youtube videos or articles about the Tremor package. In fact, most say the Tremor package provides true off road performance "without sacrificing towing capability". However, Ford's towing chart was confusing me by indicating the Tremor 6.7 PS has a 15,000 lb towing limit as opposed to 20,000 lb for the standard F250 6.7 PS (both with high capacity towing packages). No way I am paying $4,500 more for a Tremor with 5,000 Lbs less towing.
Air conditioned seats had cooled air being pushed out of the seats. Ventilated seats pulls ambient air into the seats. More air movement with the ventilated.
BUILT DIESEL MAFIA I have the 2020 F350 Platinum and it also has a lower stance than my 2019 F350 Lariat. I do believe it was done across the board as a benefit for towing.
Good Review. However, most of the items he discussed are available on earlier models and if you can find a certified use, probably get a much better price than new. Updated engines are new and the Godzilla 7.3L with 10 speed tranny are attractive to this guy who uses the super duty to comfortably and safely tow my Airstream. Observations: 1. I have a 2019 CC Lariat F250 4x2, 6.2L gas with 3,500 lbs of payload. My fellow Airstreamer purchased a 2018 CC F250 King Ranch 4x4 with diesel and his payload is a disappointing 1,900 lbs. Not sure this review included the payload on vehicle being reviewed? I did not see him address the poor location of the headlight switch, and the door locks? My ‘09 F150 had much better locations for both of these switches? 2. Also - cost of these F250’s during my search for ‘19’s I found about 12% off of MSRP, as opposed to up to 25% off on F150’s. Check costs on other super duties and SUV’s and sticker shock will hit you hard. We thought we could tow our trailer with a Ford Expedition, which would be more convenient for towing and taking our grandkids and their parents on adventures. However, when we pulled in the Ford Dealer and saw a $60K+ MSRP for an XLT model, we walked away! 3. Wish he would have discussed ONLY the differences on the ‘20 from the ‘19. Everything looks almost identical to my ‘19, except for the trailer backup switch. Here’s my MPG after 13,000 miles on our 6.2L with 6 speed tranny - avg 10 towing everywhere, in mtns and flat areas and not towing 15 - 16 depending on terrain. 4. Diesels cost on MSRP $10,500, diesel fuel prices per gallon can be one dollar more than gas. Oil changes about $40 each for my three oil changes at a dealer. Diesel oil changes are easily 3x cost. Daily driver - diesel not designed for trips to grocery store and errands. Seems they need to be operated at a certain temperature to pull moisture out of the diesel fuel. They cannot get to and maintain that temperature on short trips. They are designed for lots of hauling trailers and heavy duty like the many “hotshots” we see on the highways. Check TFL and Mr Truck and Big Truck/Big RV’s for tons of advice on selecting a super duty. Anyone heard of the Ike Gauntlet? TFL stresses TV’s on the West side of the Eisenhower tunnel, W of Denver on I-70. Their comparisons of vehicles and comments on drivetrains is superb and highly recommended. I think they have over 700K subscribers. Selecting the correct tow vehicle for your needs should be enjoyable, if not affordable!
what is the payload rating for a crew cab, 8 ft bed, 7.3 gasser? thinking of dropping a truck camper in with the tremor package. any suggestions welcome, thanks all
My '17 F-250, my '19 F-250 and my 2020 F-350 tailgates lock automatically when you lock the doors. (Ironically, we just had a tailgate stolen off one of our work trucks which is a 2013 F-250 and does NOT have the auto-locking tailgate).
At this rate, how long before the King Ranch is just gonna give you cloth, manually adjustable seats and a steering wheel and make a few more higher trims to house the rest of the luxuries?
Been watching your channel here and there forever. I really appreciate your informative videos now more than in the past. I'm re-watching because I just picked up my Lariat/sport/ultimate Tremor with the 6.7 - and while I didn't go through you guys, I do at least hit those likes and just now am subscribing. Hope you guys are doing alright.
Wow that was a lot of useful information, thank you. I hope your boss appreciates your energy and enthusiasm. Good job, I hope you sell a hundred. I think the most useful feature on the Tremor is the trail mode, I wonder if the program is already in the system of the trucks but if you hey the Tremor it’s turned on. If thats the case than maybe it could be assessed and activated on a lariat model that doesn’t have the Tremor package and the 5000 pound towing deficit could be saved..Thanks again
Another Ford dealership UA-cam video said there’s minimal payload reduction between the Tremor and a regular super duty. I’m thinking about purchasing a F350 XLT Tremor with the 7.3 gas engine. Could you tell me the payload for the truck I have in mind compared to a 2020 F350 XLT 4x4 SB SRW?
Batmanstang Thanks for that, I’m thinking an XLT with not a lot of options should have a little higher payload. Payloads the stat that’s important to me because I’m going to be putting on a camper that’s going to be around 3400 pounds dry.
Jumping from a height like that is one way many people end up with damaged knees. Just ask any Marine or soldier how they ended up with knee damage and they'll let you know most of the damage came from "staying in shape" or jumping from the back of a military truck.
Myself along with multiple friends of mine own f-250’s and 350’s 2017-2020 models and are yet to experience the death wobble. That being said mine in particular only has 16,000kms so far lol
Have you driven a 2020? I haven't driven your truck - so I don't know how fun it is, but I can tell you the 2020's are quite fun indeed.

@Harry Manback wake up bro fully redesigned in 15.

Just bought a 2020 F250 Power Stroke and absolutely love it, now I'm needing something to tow behind it. Great video, thx for the info.

$60,000 to $80,000 with 84 months payment and expensive registration and insurance....yeah, that's pretty much a house on the wheel with mortgage.
A $50,000 truck today is equal to a $14,000 truck in 1980 counting inflation into the equation. So that's with in the range of the same cost.
@@sokodad You can get basic F250 for 35-6k I think? Thats not bad actually.

Great knowledge on the product. Refreshing to see someone who understands truck talk. My budget is 50k thinking about the 250XLT. The Tremor is nice but it sounds like it rides to stiff. I rarely leave the pavement and prefer a smooth ride.

Love the video! Great job!
Thanks man!
Good info!
Owned my 2020 for 11 months now and still learning.
What is the axle ratio in this truck? Mine is 3.55 locking and I'm only getting 13 mpg at best.
You needed to show how to fold down the rear driver side seat! Ford should add the missing pieces of the latch too!
Is the door code no longer located around the fuse box?
what is the payload rating for a crew cab, 8 ft bed, 7.3 gasser? thinking of dropping a truck camper in with the tremor package. any suggestions welcome, thanks all
Great video, great job
A friend of mine had his tailgate stolen off his 2019 Platinum. Replacement cost was $6,800. I’m assuming a 2020 would be $7,000.
I'm sure your friend locks the tailgate from now on, you see this forced him to be more careful.
The tailgates automatically lock when the truck locks now
Pete Saccoman My 2019 locks the tailgate automatically. There may be a way to turn it off though.
My '17 F-250, my '19 F-250 and my 2020 F-350 tailgates lock automatically when you lock the doors. (Ironically, we just had a tailgate stolen off one of our work trucks which is a 2013 F-250 and does NOT have the auto-locking tailgate).
Pretty darn expensive for a tailgate. No wonder the price for the rest of the truck is so high
Andrew Hensley what color? I am a Chevy guy but this is my dream truck...
Velocity blue is my favorite
Wonder if they corrected the death wobble yet, had to get rid of my 2017.
I and no one I know had that problem
Wow that was a lot of useful information, thank you. I hope your boss appreciates your energy and enthusiasm. Good job, I hope you sell a hundred. I think the most useful feature on the Tremor is the trail mode, I wonder if the program is already in the system of the trucks but if you hey the Tremor it’s turned on. If thats the case than maybe it could be assessed and activated on a lariat model that doesn’t have the Tremor package and the 5000 pound towing deficit could be saved..Thanks again
I have a 2019. And thank you for making me feel good about not getting a 2020. Only think I wish I had is the wireless charging
No auto high beams on my 2020 superduty STX !!! got it on my 2020 f150 STX
I love my 2020 f250 but I wasn’t aware about the wireless charging 👍 is it on xlt lineup too?
I do know it can be had on a f250 XL with the sxt package. So I would say yours too.
Greg Dettling I’ve been looking into a 350 Tremor with the 7.3 as well. The truck had around 4200 payload. It was a Lariat.
Batmanstang
Thanks for that, I’m thinking an XLT with not a lot of options should have a little higher payload. Payloads the stat that’s important to me because I’m going to be putting on a camper that’s going to be around 3400 pounds dry.
Are those style rims new or special order
7.3 V8 Whipple F-250...when are you doing the launches like you did for the F-150?
Mitch needs to work on his box jumps next leg day lol
Jumping from a height like that is one way many people end up with damaged knees. Just ask any Marine or soldier how they ended up with knee damage and they'll let you know most of the damage came from "staying in shape" or jumping from the back of a military truck.
You guys forgot to mention the death wobble that comes standard on all super dutys
Myself along with multiple friends of mine own f-250’s and 350’s 2017-2020 models and are yet to experience the death wobble. That being said mine in particular only has 16,000kms so far lol
Where’s the link for the keypad lock?
I love My Truck it's an f250 Lariat 2020 and its leveled on 35s Nittos and 20 inch Fuel Rims
Honestly gonna keep my 96 f350 dually. 7.3 makes good tq, cheaper and have more fun driving it.
Have you driven a 2020? I haven't driven your truck - so I don't know how fun it is, but I can tell you the 2020's are quite fun indeed.
I have a 2008 6.4 f250 175,000 original miles and besides maintenance and tires the only thing i had to replace were a caliber...the suspension is about due to be replaced I was going to buy the 2021 f250 7.3 gas engine crew cab but I'm still debating that but I will continue to drive my 08 f250 even after I buy a new truck
“I’m the previous version of the super duty you only had USB-C. Now new for the 2020 model you also get the USB-C” 😂
Great information!! Was at that a gas or Diesel engine you got that mileage?
Diesel!
Town and Country TV what’s the mileage on the 6.2L gas engine? It appears a well kept secret
@@rubear71 I average 11-12mpg in my 2018 6.2 gas. She's thirsty.
Mitchell it's good to see you back. I was getting worried ,. I really enjoy your videos. Take care sir, God Bless.
Will the GPS direct my 12’-6” trailer under a 12’-0” bridge?
Hey Mitchell, I'm up north in Canada and my guess is 90% of the SD are F350, why do you guys seem to be more into the F250's?
