- Celebration Committee for Karl Marx's 200th Birthday from Dhaka organized a "Marx of New Day" titled daylong seminar in Dhaka University.
I think Dr. Salimullah Khan is the best academician of our time.

Marxian social evolution doctrine (MSED) identifies five successive distinct social systems in historical process from beginning to end: Primitive Communism, Slavism, Feudalism, Capitalism and Communism. It was the most influential social philosophy in the nineteenth and twentieth century. After the fall of Socialist regime in Eastern Europe, MSED rapidly lost its influence on academic and political world. Europe did not observe Communism, but has historical experiences of Slavism, Feudalism and Capitalism; and still holds this track of evolution as a universal truth. The validity of the MSED rests on the evolutions of private property/ownership. This article critically examines it with alternative prevailing inheritance institutions of private property and concludes that MSED is “Mistakes of missing information of alternative institutions of private property ”.
