I graduated from high school in 1972 and purchased a 1970 Super Bee 440 six pack 4 speed. It was a wild ride for an 18 year old. I did a lot of street racing. I still have it sitting in my garage. It still looks as good as it did the day I bought it.
I had a LS6 Chevelle. Spent a lot of Friday nights bombing up and down Telegraph Rd in the Detroit Metro area. It was a beast! Good times. Great video. Thanks for making this
@vs9272 I knew 2 people in high school who had them in the early 80's. They were more common than anything else on this list. It cool to see that they pull 200k now. They are an absolutely beautiful car. Possibly the most handsome of all the muscle cars. I always liked them more than the Camaros.
Did that same run with my 70 roadrunner .. Those were the greatest weekends on telegraph. I lived at telegraph.and cherry hill. But closer to the red lobster and color tile.
Had a 71 Sebring Plus with a factory 383 4-speed and oh yeah it would rise up and rip the tires in 3 gears , actually have a 71 Satellite now dressed as a Roadrunner with the same drivetrain.
I had a 1970 Roadrunner back in the late 1980's. It didn't have a Hemi in it , but it had the 440 and the air grabber hood. It was very fast. I regret to this day for getting rid of it.
i sold so many as a classic car salesperson 30-40 years ago some were like new in showroom others were classed as just used cars so affordable back then.

I had a 73 satellite Sebring that had the lightest back end. You could smoke the tires when doing 60 and flooring it. Lots of fun to drive.
