I live and California and the closet airbase to me is Travis AFB and they have C-5s C-17s KC-46s KC-10s and KC-135s and they had and air show and you could go in almost of if those planes and the C5M super galaxy is MASSIVE compared to all of them. And they have something called the parade of the heavy’s and they all fly
When I was a kid (probably 7 or 8, so this was mid-2000s), I got to watch a Thunderbirds airshow in Little Rock AR. As cool as the air demo was, I had two MAJOR highlights of the day: Highlight 1, they had a C-5 Galaxy available for tourists to walk through. I both walked from front to back, AND I walked around it, touched the rear landing gear, etc. The interior was fuckin cavernous. Highlight 2, I got to sit in the nose turret of a B-25. Me being a tiny child, I fit perfectly lmao
It was was the greater Binghamton airshow wasn’t it? I was supposed to go but I forgot to plan for it and missed it, luckily I made it the geneseo airshow and I finally got to see the f22 raptor for the first time

Blows my mind how nonchalant you were about most of the planes flying lmao. My stupid ass goes absolutely insane over literally any plane flying. Especially the B-17. My great grandad flew that specific G model with the chin turret in ww2. And no they did not bolt you shut into the ball turret 😭
I went to luke airforce bases air show and got there in time to be in the front row and the F35s did a performance with flares right over my head. It was super cool. They were F35As and not Bs though so i didnt get to see vtol shenanigans.
The solo pilot was supposed to go that fast and low without warning, it’s called the sneak pass and it’s to show how stealthy the f18 is
It also shows how stealthy the Su-57 is. Since they share the same RCS.
