- We are a home to a millions of thoughts. Our thoughts keep talking to us in one way or the other. We often feel bothered by our thoughts but sometimes, it becomes tough for us to realise that exactly which one of them is bothering us the most. In times like these, we overthink and then comes a point where anxiety takes over. We all tend to look for something to calm our anxious, restless selves. For me, I realised that it’s darkness (andhera) which calms me down in not one but a lot of ways. It helps, it soothes, it stays with me when I feel like I’m all alone. It embraces me in a warm hug when I need it the most. Andhera has led me to so many poems of mine, it will forever remain the best friend of my poems. It will forever remain close to me, within me! 🖤

English translation -
Darkness is unnecessarily infamous because and here it is considered a symbol of negativity. I find the light more wretched. Darkness fulfills sleep; Light stings tightly in the eyes. I do not even know what is written in the light. Harf stays, words are seen. Ink, kalam and paper are visible but no emotion is visible.
The tears don't get wet in the light, they wear fake smiles.
No one can see that in the light we hide most of the wounds. These wounds do not go to anyone's eyes, this pain and here I am innocent, unmasked, free. my every thing in the dark.
The one who breaks the dreams should not want this morning, the one who opens his eyes, regrets to the eyelids that woe that one of my dreams has been broken.
I like the night (2 times). Sitting by Hukub, I like every stain of the moon.
And people say that everything has a definition, so if someone asks you what is the definition of darkness? Is it dark?
Darkness is mine. This is the condition of my room and heart. Darkness is a lost emotion, the past is like yesterday and the darkness is today.
The sky is blue. That darkness is a disgrace to those birds who went from their waists, they broke down again in the history to bring them and came home in half. Just say that by becoming a promise of my beloved.
Darkness is special, there is a lonely crowd of dreams. There is also a feeling of loneliness, but darkness is also accompanied by loneliness.
Darkness is an only child who doesn't fear anyone from the dead. An only child who is not afraid of falling and getting hurt.
That darkness is an only child who is not afraid of the jabber, who is not afraid of anyone ,who does fight with crowd ,who doesn't afraid from the arrow of light which goes right in the middle of its chest. It learned courage.
Ask me the strength of darkness.
It (darkness) has a black heart in its chest. And it was not with a long time that he has become black. The reason was it that it learned love (to).
How pure is the darkness. Same everywhere, on every surface. You look carefully how clear the darkness is. Takir Jaffa, soaked in oppression, is very ugly but true is darkness. As it is, darkness is better than light.
And people often also say that you need light to see even your own shadow, and here even your own shadow leaves you with you; So yes, my shadow is not there in the dark, but I see myself.
Darkness is a mirror. My mirror is And here in the dark I can see mine. All the bruises remain bare on the body. The dirty walls of the room remain dirty. There is no need to paint, but nothing remains alive and here in the dark. In the light, even the cruelty is surrounded by false pride.
Tears don't have to be hidden in the dark. The scars of defeat from the face cannot be erased.
I am who I am and here I am. I don't have to wear a mask. I don't have to wear a mask in the dark
