Great video! I'm pausing at the cards I have to know and compare in UK market with the Japanese one for example. Informative and enjoyable experience! Thank you!
Great to see al those mint 10 cards - so much amazing art, but the new and old sets. I'm aiming to get down myself next time, and really like your content idea of just browsing the vendors.
Brilliant video - Really gave a sense of being there!! Even though I couldn’t get down there, Great interviews at the end as well, so many awesome cards can’t pick a favourite!
Some of those prices on the lower end cards were extortionate, 2nd vendors had a Solgaleo Lunala GX at £100 when its like a £30 card at best.. I get they need to make money but that, damn.
considering tables cost at least £90, on top of transport costs to bring everything to the show, i think it's reasonable that there is a bit of a markup compared to eBay prices where people get to sell from their bedrooms. as a consumer you get the benefit of having a very high variety of choices put in front of you where you can make instant purchases. there are always bargains to be found - with tens of thousands of products there, not everything will be overpriced - it's part of the fun to try and hunt those bargains in my humble opinion!
Absolutely. Scalpers ripping people off. selling over populated modern trash. This hobby was for kids to play & collect, now it’s “investors” hyping it up to make money
there's 2 things i look at when i see a high price (although i didn't realise this card was overpriced above market): 1. Seller may not be in a massive rush to sell the card, it has some sentimental value to them so they set a price above market which is the only price at which they would be willing to let go of the card for 2. Seller is managing thousands of slabs and therefore doesn't have the opportunity to update their prices for every single slab In either event even if the card is overpriced that simply means the card won't sell, so the market speaks for itself imo and it's not a huge issue! Thanks for watching!
Enjoyed this and great to have the slow pans across the cards for values, etc. Thankyou!
@@BaseSet_77 thanks!

Awesome video. I like that it’s clear enough for us to pause to check prices.

Ridiculously overpriced vs US market. Shining Raichu 1st ed PSA 10 £4k vs $2k last sold 😂😂😂

@@pokemonstatcg Thanks and enjoyed the video! More just a comment about how we get a bit of a bad deal in the UK vs US conventions!
