Couple goofs in this video, first when I say "but the man saying that John found his info online," obviously I meant "but the man saying that he found John's info online." Also, I refer to "John" as "Joe" shortly after that.

I ALWAYS GET THOSE EMAILS TOO🤦♂️
Voice-mails i mean
Why don't they stop
I keep getting put into text group chats with phishing links and it's always so obvious like no care in the world. But when I do get the extended warranty calls I have fun every time. First of all, I clarify that the model year they refer to is actually wrong (for some reason they always get the same wrong number lol) and if they're on the line still I proceed with something like "thank God you called, I just totaled it.."
Bro I’m 12 and I got that exact spam call I was dying from laughing 😂😂😂
I think the scariest voicemail I've ever gotten was one of this man and woman arguing (muffled, couldn't understand about what), silence, then the woman suddenly whispering "I told him not to do it" into the reciever

In the early 2000s, I was an emergency dispatcher for a police/fire department. One night we received several hang-up calls on the 9-1-1 line. The system showed that the calls were originating from an address in a rural area in our coverage zone.
Thinking that it might be a person in a dangerous situation who was unable to talk at the moment, we sent an officer out to the address. It turned out that the address was a burned out mobile home that hadn't been occupied for years. The very weirdest part is that the information shown on the dispatching screen was saying that the number was a landline phone. The officer was very creeped out, and we never found out why we got those calls.
Supernatural. Scary creepy experience

All of these were horrific. A friend of mine also had a voice message from his dead father but it wasn't that long after he passed. It was actually the day of. He died all suddenly and my friend didn't even know he was dead. She was so shocked when she found out he actually passed away before the message was sent. That kind of shit sends shivers down my spine.
@Divine Sinner it was like static mixed with his voice, you couldn't really understand him. I don't know how else to describe it, but you could tell it was his voice.
Wow ... well Rest In Peace to her dad. Not sure if her relationship with him was good, but it seems like she loved him. I'm sure she was not only shocked but upset. I hope she's found closure and peace. Losing a loved one so suddenly ... it ain't cool! Hopefully the voicemail somehow brings her some comfort.
Paula Porras....oh wow that’s pretty wild.
The morning my grandma died, my mom called me to tell me the news and asked if I wanted to see my grandma one last time. I told her I didn’t think I could, it would’ve been the first time I had someone close to me pass away and I wasn’t sure if I could handle it or not. I felt so guilty as soon as the words came out of my mouth. Then my “mom” replied “that’s ok honey” and I swear it was my grandmas voice in fact I know in my heart it was her and calling me honey was something she always did whereas my mom didn’t. Her voice was so distinctive that I was immediately shocked and just sat there speechless until my mom finally started asking me “are you still there?”. I also remember that at the precise moment I heard my grandmas voice my cell phone reception suddenly wasn’t as good and was staticky. After hanging up with my mom I felt the sudden urge to see my grandma one last time before the funeral parlor came and she was ultimately cremated. When I got to where my grandma was that morning, I couldn’t stay but a minute because I could “feel” her spirit/soul was no longer in her body, she just wasn’t here on earth anymore, if that makes sense, and that when I heard her on the phone earlier, it was her saying goodbye and reassuring me that she was ok. It was a bittersweet moment that I’ll never forget.

My wife and I were watching this, and the last story really resonated with us because we thought the last story really rang alarm bells. It occurred to us that; the voice mail was a genuinely disturbed and frightened woman, and therefore a real 'cry for help'. It seemed logical that this person may have used the perpetrators phone which was set as unknown, since they were obviously trying to hide their identity. But more disturbing, it's highly probable that the victim simply clicked on an available number on the phones list? Possibly, a deeper investigation may be required into this incident? BTW. Really great channel. Much thanks to Mr Nightmare.
The one with the (dead) father on the voicemail repeatedly saying his daughters name hit me hard. My father died 10 years ago and if I would listen to him on my voicemail I would have a nervous breakdown because I miss him so much. Gave me chills and made me nostalgic at the same time. Hope everyone is fine after these voice messages.
My dad died in June I couldn’t imagine hearing his voice again
My dad died last summer in August so a little over a year now. I can definitely relate to this.

I've had many voicemails over the years that made me wonder. Then I deleted them and moved on.
Ngl, this was probably the most disturbing Mr.nightmare video I've seen and I've been a fan for a while now. Everytime I watch one of his videos I turn out my lights and put the volume on max. This was the first time I've had to turn on my lights. Idk why it disturbed me so much.
Same here. Lol this was the creepiest video by far.
SAME! I actually had to close my window and switch on my lights
I have no issue listening to horror stories at night when I'm settling down for bed but this one I had to save for the morning. The calls just freaked me out too much, especially the third one with the creature/torture screaming. I love horror but this kind of thing just gets to me in a way a lot of other horror doesn't.
I am yet to be scared from any of his videos. I purposely save them for the night for I can listen to them before bed, sometimes if I work late I love listening to his videos while I’m working
Personally, I wasn't scared by this one. The others are more terrifying.
UK viewer here - I've had that exact voicemail with the crying woman. I remember it because it sounded like there was a second person at the beginning, the way she's crying and that it sounded like "I'm trapped in the dark". Obviously I was freaked out when I got it (very late at night too), and found out it was a scam call trying to get you to call back. Some of them are really obvious - a common tactic is to record a clip from a movie and use that - but freaky nonetheless. I didn't call back but one or two people on Reddit have, and it went through to a sales representative of some kind. I've also heard of it being a premium number and charging you a stupid amount to ring them.
This could also explain the last voicemail - as it's a year old, and a lot of these scams get shut down real fast (especially if they're based in the US, UK, Europe etc.), it could have been shut down and so calling back would lead nowhere. I'd be interested to see whether the police had any answers for them.
I received a call last year that sounded dead on like my sister screaming and crying. Saying they got her. Then after it was a voice saying "this is the Mexican mafia"
Could not believe scamming had reached that low/sick point.
@@CaretakerWanted that is the worst thing I’ve ever read.
@@CaretakerWanted I actually listened to a news segment about that. It's a new scam and it targets people by telling them they have their child/spouse and are demanding a ransom. They often use the name of that family member i.e.: "We have your daughter Julia..." and gives instructions for how to send them money. I'm sorry to hear you got a call like that.
@@CaretakerWanted yeah, I've heard it's common for scammers to pretend to do ransom calls using family members as bait

The dad voice mail was actually kinda sad. I'm not sure if that's the word I'm looking for, but that's the best I can come up it. To put it another way, getting a v-mail means someone or something is targeting you specifically. Eating guuuuuud
I know that he had that pic for years and usually puts it up around this time of year
I don’t think I’ll be sleeping good
My hypothesis: The creepy voicemails are scams, they want to creep you badly so you call back. Same thing with creepy calls, they want to keep you on the line long enough.
This is a fairly common scam. They'll pretend to be a girl crying, then when the person on the other end asks if it's "jenny" or whoever they may think it is, the scammer will say they need help and ask for some money for a taxi or bus or something.
Joke is on the scammers because I don't have a voicemail box
hmm good point . i got a weird voicemail or two before. and that could very well be
very true .. usually use them with an auto dialer and flag ppl that answer.. those that are flagged then get added to a list of "leads" that are then sold to phone scammers as "good numbers" so they can pitch scam calls to.

I've received a phone call like that once. Still get goosebumps when I think about it. It didn't help that I got it in the middle of the night either.
I don't get many calls, especially the once in the middle of the night. So when the ringtone broke the silence of the night, I groggily looked at the screen. The number was +7, so since my bro and sis live in Moscow, I thought maybe one of them changed their number. I picked up and the loud shrieks and screams pierced my ears. I shivered and covered myself, while asking them to calm down and who it is. The childish/young woman's voice started wailing, didn't seem like she heard me at all. The cries were so loud, even my husband woke up, asking what happened. Then a man screamed, there was a thump and the line went dead. I was scared for weeks after that.
Gladly, it wasn't neither of my siblings and they both were at work at that time.
jesus christ are you okay?
Dam, that must have been scary
That sounds like some people were being tortured, possibly both were killed in the end.
That is horrifying wtf
@@IBeMelissa yes it was really unsettling. I couldn't sleep.
There's a very common scam - at least where I live - where a person will call you crying for help and pretending to be kidnapped, expecting you to say something like "[name]??" or similar to extract info and arrange a "ransom". Once you pay the ransom, you think to call the actual person that you believed kidnapped and they haven't the slightest clue what you're talking about. There're a couple that could be cases of this...
Brasil?
@@luinnoc argentina. May happen in Brasil too, idk
@@farfa2937 yep, it happens here all the time. I've received calls from people "crying" at 2/3 in the morning more than once, lol.
Something very similar to this happened to Penguinz0. A guy called him saying he has his mother hostage until he gets X amount of dollars. He almost fell for it until he called his mother himself and she was totally fine 😂
That happened in Florida
The most disturbing of them all is the one where Martha heard her father's voice on the other end despite being dead for 2 years. That is just ugh! I get chills thinking about it.
I feel like the scariest call is people asking if they want to know the name of the person they are looking at, especially if they ask for your favorite scary movie.
Bro Darth Maul how the hell you know about that shouldn’t you be focused on Kenobi or sumthin??
@@liamcarey8726 that’s what I’m thinkin
Well at least he doesn’t kill younglings..
@@liamcarey8726 i need Ezra to find him for me first
wow I have 66 likes what a coincidence
The one with the creature or torture screaming is terrifying.
I know, I’m like “What the heck?” It sounded like tires squealing at first, when you turn your car too hard. Then it just sounded like some kind of creature screaming.
I would probably pass out if i was sent such a voice message
sounded like a mountain lion
That’s the screams of hell as a matter of fact
@cdcabot it’s hell, as hell is torture forever
The most terrifying messages I ever received was about my car’s warranty…I don’t have a car. At least not yet.
I have one , but OMG!!.. I hate those and the ones about going back to school 🙄🙄
LMAOO SAME
It's been a while since I last listened to Mr. Nightmare's scary story videos. He's still uploading top tier content I see. Glad to see he hasn't changed much.
Also- The second one is so - unnerving-
My mom would often call me late at night crying after fights with my dad (She was usually drunk or high and my dad would take us to one of our relative's houses to get away from her), and it's really unsettling to hear.
OK man, THIS did it. This one gave me some serious chills man. 10/10.
Those crazy screams are def something someone can make. Sounds so similar to the stuff I've heard from black metal bands. Plus they're taking breaths so it sounds like someone is fucking with them
maybe, but its still terrifying
The knocking getting harder the 2nd time really got to me. The first knocks seems to say "hey you, let me in, I'm nice", the 2 knocks are like "LET. ME. IN." in a deep scary voice 😳
10/10 for number 3. Honestly, that screaming is so powerful.
About the last voicemail:
I actually heard „they‘re gonna beat me“. That‘s the first thing that came into my mind while listening to it, I didn‘t hear „they have my baby“ or something similar like you said in the video.
I don‘t know if it‘s more or less scary. I just hope with all my heart that that woman is okay right now.
i was just thinking to myself if i should go back and watch some old videos, now i don’t have to!
I’ll probably watch this one later

I love these kind of videos, normal stories are great but ones with actual videos or calls/voicemails are so much more creepy & amazing
The Martha story was probably just the electonic equivalent of receiving a letter decades after it was sent. Some sort of glitch in the system that caused a delayed message to be in transit for years then finally delivered after he died.
I'm an artist and I live listening to your channel it gives me so much motivation to draw something new thank you for telling these stories :D

If that's the case, I'm fairly sure that this John guy could actually sue this website. As far as I know, in the US, though this may vary by state, it's a legal requirement for any website to take down personal info if the info holder requests it.
Wrong af.
No actually they don’t everything posted is public knowledge and is very easy to obtain, and it’s legal to post on a website if he is registered as a place of business it’s his own fault he registered as a company and used his own address and name that’s on him , you register as a reputable place of business just like lawyers offices or doctors offices the site lists all info about said company such as who runs it the name of the business and where it’s located , he provided the info and they listed it.
Hence for my podcast i use an alias and even on herr I don't use my namr.
if this man uploaded daily, it would be over for every other channel
that screaming/wild animals voice mail actually kind of makes me think of when you try to record a really strong wind honestly, or when someone is talking to you on the phone when there's a really strong wind around them and that's all you can hear.
I think some people might find this interesting so I’ll leave it here, I occasionally get voicemails of just silence, sometimes breathing. Sometimes they’re from a private number and sometimes the number isn’t private- when it’s not private, it’s this bizarre number that only calls me the rare few times I’ve been black out drunk. So I don’t remember the calls, but they last for a while, and the log usually has a string of calls in sequence so either I or they hang up and then we call back. The number’s location is always from this town that I know for a fact burnt in the bushfires and doesn’t exist anymore. Weird
Damn bro that's creepy
Don’t get black out drunk for the nights they usually call and find out, I would be curious! I get loud breathing calls too but they are always blocked. 🧐
The breathing and the fact that they call you specifically when you're drunk leads me to believe it is a stalker, maybe someone close enough to you to know that... Or it could be a completely random person who has found a way to keep tabs on you, maybe through surveillance. I would buy hidden camera detectors and learn how to use them effectively and think of a way to get more info, for example if in the past they knew when you were drunk while you were alone in your apartment, you could get surveillance of your own and get "drunk" with a liquor bottle filled with water.
@@TatoAV ahh the jim lahey "drunk" not drunk tactic.
If even knows something private , when you are drunk , I think must be someone close to you.
plot twist: the screaming voicmail was just a miss dial while they were taking a dump
edit: I'm happy that I made some people laugh
Dude this comment is way too good 😂😂
That made me feel way better Lmaoo
You made my day thanks
The most terrifying voice message I ever got was:
*I need you to work double today, and close.*
Edit: I survived, but the question is, did I want to survive?
*No.*

All these comments lol. At least we all suffer together 😀🤙✨✨
I agree
Omg lol
Ah shit man how you holding up lol
That would be met with I'm sorry, but I can't come in at all today. Ahh I got it coming out both ends if you know what I mean.

As someone with past paranormal experiences that screaming voicemail terrified me to my core
Those screaming ones sound like someone just learning their metal screams 😂 I mean, if it is then good for them. Pretty good! 🤘
ITS SPOOKY SEASON , READY TO BINGE LISTEN TO THESE STORIES😫
The one voicemail with the guy filmed from the early 2000’s gave me chills in my back cause it sounded too real then mr nightmare stated that the man and his wife knew it was paranormal 😳
scary
I got a voicemail a few years back of what sounded like a frantic and terrified man. I couldn't make out what he was saying. Even weirder, it was in my saved voice messages, yet that was my first time hearing it.
I always watch MR NIGHTMARE before going to bed on my Smart Tv. Better than any horror movie for sure !
Dude homeslice what if Mr nightmare made short films on one of his popular scary story. In my opinion it will accumulate his subscribers
I listen to you when I clean houses, your stories always give me the creeps
5 cleaner story's
Number 1 a person cleans a house then dies
i too listen to him while cleaning.. but my house

Something about this video made me cry with fear, it’s so personal having a someone/something ring YOU and leave YOU a voicemail…
Omg I'm so scared that I cried. Omg
i once got a voicemail saying in a low, monotone male voice “hello” over and over again. no number. got it at 2 in the morning. still freaked out.
The dead dad story instantly made me tear up for some reason.
same): not a believer or spiritual or anything but idk i imagined it being my dad. and like being some way of contacting us beyond d3ath.
Scary voicemail: “your cars extended warranty”
😭
I get phone calls like that all the time
Got that call the day after my car was totaled.
I listened to this through headphones, in my kitchen near the front door, around midnight, and those knocks in the first story scared the shit out of me 😂
Very creepy stuff - thank you.
Same😂😂😂😂
When I was about 20, maybe 21 years old back in the early 2000s I received about 10 voicemails over the course of a week. They were all of someone screaming in a demonic voice. I didn't think anything of it and would delete them about halfway through and just chalked it up to being bad static. This video definitely makes me a little bit more freaked out lol. Thanks Mr. Nightmare 😳😳!
Okay but like in all seriousness, the “I’m trapped in the dark” is genuinely unnerving to me, his sounds of genuine fear whilst mumbling under his breath are fucking terrifying, anyone have any theories or explanations that aren’t too graphic? I’m kind of a fragile bitch
Maybe it’s somebody who has dementia and thought that was her/his kids home maybe?
Ever heard of the weepy voiced killer?
@@GrosvnerMcaffrey May you explain who that is?
@@WUTANG1683 no problem. He was an early 80s serial killer who would kill or harm women then call the police after the crime very upset almost breaking down saying he shouldn't have done it and needed help. He did it at least 3 times before he was caught. The voice mail reminded me of him you can find some of his phone calls online if you want
