no one says he was not.
      You studied psychology or psychiatry?
Expecting him to be emotional on the stand is idiotic. The victim was not someone he cared about, not his family. Does not mean he does not regret, just in a close relationship with the victim. He is making statements of fact from what he saw and heard and did.
The female told him the children were being abused by the victim. He believed it. Instead of demanding evidence and taking it to the police.
Typical females telling stories and asking others to help with their crimes. As guilty as he is, serving time for it, good that he is ensuring that she pays the price for her crime. She ran for years. Plotting the murder of the father of your child and actually killing him.

I found the short film that was made by David Schock on the platform called VIMEO. It's called The Jack in the Box because at the time of the filming, this was still a cold case. He would not be identified until some time in 2015 or so as his paternal daughter saw this documentary and reported that she believed it was her father, Robert. It costs $9.99 and is extremely graphic showing his charred body. He would be found within 3 days of his murder by a farmer. It's very sad. I'm extremely grateful to this jury for convicting this monster and also grateful for Chris who you see here testifying in her murder trial. He has been in jail since 2019 along with the co-conspirator Dineann who is the daughter of the defendant. 😢

He said he was told to stand behind the pillar in the basement (to wait for Robert), but prior to that he said he didn’t know the murder was happening that day UNTIL Beverly pushed him down the stairs.
Also, he didn’t mention Beverley’s involvement in his first interview, but AFTER he was told to “get ahead of this” and a potential plea (which ended up being 15 yrs instead of Life) Beverly is mentioned.
Also, the young daughter testified that she saw her sister running back to the van, while he says that the sister remained in the van with her siblings while he and Beverly set Robert on fire.
Also, back to the basement, they all took turns hitting Robert with the hammer?
Yes, I think Beverly IS involved, but I’m not convinced that her co-defendant is being 100%.

When his lawyer was examining him, he asked about the baseball ⚾️ bat. He said it was in the basement bc he "used to play baseball" in his answer to why his bat would be in the basement.
I don't understand why the Prosecutor never questioned that on cross.
I don't believe for one second that he had that bat from a time he played ball.
A virtually homeless man, who drinks and smokes pot daily & would have had no place to keep his bat (no permanent home, no car, no storage unit etc) would have not have needed "his bat" to play baseball.
More than likely it was a bat the girls used and thus goes to the issue of his premeditated.
Asking that as one of the first questions would have been a much quicker way of discrediting him than the super long way the Prosecutor took 😮.

    • @ek2137
      @ek2137 6 місяців тому +9

He was a homeless man who smoked weed, drank alcohol, and did cocaine. As to the baseball bat, he never testified that the bat belonged to him. I believe he testified that it was already in the basement, and because he played baseball in HS, he played with the bat when he was in the basement smoking weed. I think the bat belonged to Robert, who loved baseball. The bat could have also belonged to Cecily. She testified that she played softball.

As part of his plea deal, he had to testify against Beverly and her daughter, who is serving a life sentence for 1st degree murder. He was involved in the murder, although apparently Beverly is the one who pushed the victim down the stairs, beat him on the head with a hammer which got lodged in his skull, then wrapped his head in plastic wrap while he was still breathing.
