Any movies that are made beyond the first 8 (up to Freddy vs Jason) that don't include Mr England are irrelevant garbage and should never be considered inclusive of the franchise. Some movies should NEVER be remade and ANOES is one of them! I hate myself every time I remember that I allowed myself to watch that utterly insulting remake 😣

i remember i had to walk home in a very dark night in the mountains after seing his movie, no houses, no cars or people around so every tree branch moving by the wind or every wild animal screaming i was seing freedy every where
I would say that Robert Englund and Kane Hodder or two of the most hard-working horror actors on the planet I mean they go to more conventions and me more fans than any other actors or actress on the planet ever and they loved the fans you know they absolutely love them like they say in our without the fans there is no Freddy you know Wes Craven did create the character you know may you rest in peace but you know Freddy will live on forever because of the fans and because of Robert. I mean nobody can play Freddy but Robert there's nobody that can Jackie Earle Haley tried but you know the movie wasn't bad I did not like it but I didn't hate. I like the origin story I thought that was really great I like the makeup on it what I did not like basically was the CGI which I thought was really lame. I also thought the actress who was playing the mainly was a real bitch and didn't care about doing the movie and she did not. I mean I give credit for Jackie Earle Haley just a sitting at makeup chair for 4 hours just to do the makeup you know and he tried he tried and it failed. as far as the glove goes I liked it and I didn't like it it was different but it just wasn't Freddy you know it wasn't a bad movie like I said it's just a one seen it really pissed me off the most was the scene involving the character that was Tina in the original movie. and of course now she's on Arrow can't move the actress's name which is fine but which I watch Arrow I love that show it's absolutely phenomenal and she's a great actress she really is I just feel that that scene was holy full of crap because it was all CGI and they could have done it without the CGI you know. I did like Freddy's voice is Jackie Earle Haley did and it wasn't like I said it wasn't the worst remake of all if I had to go with the worst remake of all oh my God where do I start. That's a tough question I mean because I don't know.
V. I watched that series. He played a good nice alien so yeh weird to see him as a murderer in dreams, but he does that voice so well and makeup. Gawd.
It must be an interesting existence being constantly associated with THAT character when you're passionate about acting in general. He handles it well and seems to have taken the "why fight it" stance.

It's so funny that Robert englund is the reason why Luke Skywalker exist as Mark Hamill that is just so funny and it blows my mind I thought that story was actually you know an urban legend that Robert actually got a part for Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker but now he said it right there he gave the script to Mark Hamill Mark Hamill read it loved it tried out for a Han Solo and they said no he'd be perfect for Luke Skywalker and to rest. That blows my mind as a Star wars fan and as a fan of this guy is that you know one of the greatest iconic characters in Star wars history was really his character to Freddy Krueger go figure and his wife's name is even funnier because not funny funny in a bad way it's funny because Robert englund married a woman named Nancy in real life he met her on the set of 976 evil which he directed and it's just really odd.

I was too fanboy in 80's especially, Hammer films and of course, Nightmare on Elm street and many many many many other horror horror movies fan, also, Alfred hitchcock's movies and Twilight zone, i m still those fan, i like Nightmare on Elm street still, pretty much same way as in 80's and also no, getting older something has changed but not alot, maybe i am seen too many times horror films and Nightmare on Elm street, it's has lost something what was so cool in 80's or something?
