- Blue Steel Logging are a logging operation based out of Clearwater, B.C, that specialize in steep slope logging in remote parts of Canada.
Their processor operator Megan runs an old 622b on a Linkbelt LX, retrofitted with our Cypress Systems Gen 5 control system.

I worked on the old blue yarder yrs ago in the north Thompson. It worked alright.
So I was wondering who the land owner is. I see hundreds of cuts in the pictures of the mountains. In Kentucky the land owner hires a logging company to harvest the timber. The owner gets 40% and the logger gets 60%. Who owns all the land?
Some forestry land in British Columbia is privately owned and leased out to forestry companies and mills, in other cases the land is leased out by the provincial government on a tenure basis to forestry companies with certain regulations. In that case, the forestry companies pay a stumpage fee for the wood they harvest
