I'd say most cn pvz 1 mods does have some game design, it's just very different from the western standard. Plus, these two terms aren't mutually exclusive.

Idk if they should Remove the bossfight considering it was due to the battle that Dave went missing and we are in the forest. But I think the bossfight is harder than the usual zombies like when he is about to die, he can spam attacks, but idk should it still be 6-10, maybe that isn't the final boss just yet, maybe zombies Is making smthing else

Samen have an entire group of developers so they can do anything unlike pvz expansion that have less content because it's one of most oldest English mods

Now mods have to use an original copy of the game (but no one said that the copy should be bought 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃) and use a patch made with DeltaPatcher to apply the modifications into the exe (it's just the modded exe being converted into a "patch") However to use it on Goty (EA ot Steam, yep, both editions of Goty work differently) they need to apply another patch to convert them into OG exe format
in the linked discord server head to the #dlc-announcements, here theres the download link to the mod with potential Patch for Steam version if u have one
