You just gave me a crazy idea for a fan archetype: Xyz monsters with the effect to be treated as tuners with their level being equal to their rank+/- the amount of Xyz materials they have The archetypal boss monsters would be a high level Synchro that gains bonus effects if Xyz monsters were used as it's materials And a Xyz that gains bonus effects if it has a synchro as Xyz material

Ah people remember the other cards that isn’t Angel that only gets play in certain dark/light decks just because it’s a syncro that doesn’t care it’s a syncro.
The idea was being able to summon dark monsters which is always good. Unfortunately the requirements to make her were too awkward. Even though they made an archetype for her, she still doesn't really show up in plays. They really should retrain her with less strict requirements or maybe even more strict ones that require the Chaos Synchro cards instead of 3 monsters. If you could make her with 2 cards she would be a lot better.
The issue is he's actually "difficult" to summon. He's not "bad" because if he ever hits the field and makes it to the battle phase you might as well extend your hand there. The issue is getting there and him on board in general. The "chaos" synchros should've just required a combination of light and darks in general and not specific attribute tuners and non-tuners
I used to use sphere of chaos to grab altergeist malwisp to summon itself on search to get to him. He's a good chunky boy. I remember slaying a galaxy eyes board with it. But yeah I summon him with centurion now. It was the second thing I cared about. First was having columns for me knights lol. Honestly though, if chaos sorceress would stay on board long enough to get to her her effect would bring back ole Master beatstick. But if you bring her out chances are she's getting cooked on sight.
You bet I play him, hes literally the only good Archfiend like, ever (not counting RDAs, theyre in name only). And we can actually summon him in archtype relatively easily, which is extremely rare for us.
I know an optimized build doesn't play their sub theme even though they were suppose to help the Lightsworn theme, but that problem is where the Twilightsworns are suppose to come in.
Twilightsworns are perfect in theory but there isn't a playable 4 that can combine with Raiden. Personally I just use the lv4 dark Tear monster as a kind of mill summon. She's perfect in lightsworn even on her own without tear fusions.
@@Merilirem @Merilirem There was Jain Twilightsworn General, though it requires you a reborn to get it out of the grave if ever milled. I think Konami didn't really finish that sub theme which is a shame. They could have a lot of potential with the core theme, but alas we would have to wait another 4 years or so till they revisit it.

It's supposed to be a Cheap way to Recur Big Dark Monsters. The most it can do now is Revive Chaos Beast and Archdaemon for Blitzes

I played this in my Blue-Eyes synchro deck a while back. Using Ringowurm and Dictator to Synchro climb into Archfiend and Angel was funny

Yes I use it. In a promoerdial deck. Summoned skull + galaxy serpent = chaos archfiend
Summoned skull + alexandrite = chaos angel
I actually used this chaos deck in MD but when they banned Chaos Ruler and the wyverns the deck, which was rogue at best, completely died.
