No … where are the double A-Flats on trumpet?. Also I do t like the elongated release at the end. The rest is great but we need some of that BD shimmer with the trumpets.

The music was magnificent, but why didn't the director change the color of their flags? It seemed like it didn't complement the music at all and the uniform color appeared dull. Come on Devils, you could do better than this.

@@Beefinator No it isn’t. Boston crusaders didn’t place third they placed second. Blue devils placed second. At the end of the year both ties for second get a silver medal. That’s how it works in every ranked competition on earth that doesn’t have a tie breaking system. When two competitors tie for first do you go “oh well no one won”? No of course you don’t, they both won, so it’s the same with any other placement.
Fans referring to the "recipe" have hit the note in tune here. Frankly, DCI shows have always had some kind of recipe, so that is fine, but the best cooks play with the recipe . As my brother phrases it, they add "more of the good stuff." So far, all the shows I have seen are formulaic and bland. This is what happens when great shows finish second to mediocre shows well executed.
That’s not why they are calling it a recipe at all…
