The way she looked at Wayne in episode 1 when he said "I'd vote for you"... her mom was probably the only other person who ever said that to her.

This show has amazing emotional range and the acting is top notch. Also I like that the dad was sweet to to mom when she came home which makes the character more relatable

My dad died many years ago of an overdose, this hit home really hard. This show has everything from fun nonsensical plot lines, good writing, and emotional moments.
I am really happy with the outcome of this show.

That was easily one of the best episodes I have ever seen of a show. The writing, the character development, acting, all that character study stuff. First time I've cried to a tv show in a long time
I thought this show was doing what every money grabbing movie has been up to which is let you know the whole storyline in the previews/trailers leaving you bored af and I’m so happy that this one ended up surprising me. First YT original show I genuinely like.

Yo the trailers had me so confused, I imagined they'd run away together in the first episode and the season would just be a big road trip show. So when I saw them at a dance, at school and del running for president I was so confused

The dad isn’t really a bad guy I mean sure he’s got anger issues but he’s surrounded by idiots you can tell he really loves his daughter

This really hit home for me. My mom died a few months ago and she wasn’t the best mom in the world but she tried her best to be. I get being a kid and trapped in your circumstances. I didn’t think Del would be such a relatable character
It’s funny they did the reverse of adding bangs to make the character look younger
You could create a whole series called Del and I'd watch it

This was like the best episode so far. Del is such a good character man. And these actors are so fuckin good, it doesn't even feel like they're acting. This show is really well written and well directed in my opinion

I think the saddest part of the episode was her jumping underwater just so she could cry about her mother's death.
And then when she surfaced it was like a Baptistism. She was a completely different person when she came up.

This makes me mad that he bit the Dad's nose off and she ran off. Her family had issues but everyone meant well. Appreciate the small stuff...
Aw well, Wayne didn't know that. But yeah, it does feel uncomfortable after this episode.
At the same time, the dad may have spiraled downwards. I mean, when he catches her with Wayne he grabs her by her hair and pulls her into the house. Not exactly excusable because he “meant well”
