This video summarizes resoluiton limits for geometric imaging systems, as presented in chapter 4 of Computational Optical Imaging. Biological x-ray systems for tissue, bone and teeth have resolution on the 10-1000 micron scale, limited by materials interactions rather than wave diffraction.
