Have you ever had a pet? It is just as wonderful as this video portraits. There are lots of "low maintenance pets" if you are worried about working too much and not having the time. Cats, mice, rats or hamsters are great starter animals that don`t care too much about being left alone while you`re at work! (hamsters and mice might not be the most affectionate, but if you socialize them enough, they can be! I had a hamster who would wake up to eat breakfast with me (they will learn your eating schedule...) and would also wake up and beg to be lifted out of her cage and sit in my lap as soon as she heard me open the door when coming home after work everyday. If you have the time, consider foster a cat or dog! Many shelters are full now, getting more animals due to covid, and if you work from home, its a great opportunity to get a pet right now! A cat or a dog will love you unconditionally until their dying days. They will be your best friend, always and forever. Myself am currently living in a "no pets allowed" apartment, and am crazy allergic to cats, so here I am, watching videos like this, and in the evenings go rounds feeding all the stray cats in my area :)
That's my cat....I have to sleep with my bdrm door closed because he will jump on my bed and sleep all the way up to my face on my chest keeping me awake. when I open my door in the a.m. he leaves his fave dolly (a mouse beany baby) at my door. Gotta love him!

Yup, that's pretty much it. Once a cat bonds to you, you have no better friend in the world. Only difference with my cat is he won't touch my food. He thinks what I eat is just awful. He won't even touch ham. I have never known a cat or dog who didn't like ham, but then there is my Nehemiah who prefers Temptations, Fancy Feast, Iams and Nutro. I was eating Macadamia nuts one night and giving Nehemiah some Temptations treats and accidentally put one of his treats in my mouth. OMG, it was horrid beyond belief. I guess I don't like his food either.
Our middle cat is obsessed with blueberries. She'll dig them out of muffins and eat them. The youngest one eats anything, including old dried up... whatever... off the floor, and begs like a dog whenever I'm chopping something up to cook. His favorite is raw chicken. He does, however, draw the line at tomatoes.

When I married my wife she came to me with a huge white cat. His name was Shubert and she loved him so. Shubert loved the outdoors. He proceeded to kill every rabbit, squirrel, blue jay, cardinal, chipmunk, and robin in the neighborhood. He was a true serial killer. His passion for blood extended to me. He attacked me claws out on the steps, shaving, sleeping, whenever I dropped my guard. On top of that I was allergic to him, suffering constantly. We had him until he had to be put down due to cancer. We then got two terriers, but my wife would find another Shubert if I would allow it.
I love to hear the natural sounds in these videos, the birds, even the air...the cats making their own noises, I prefer the natural sounds more than the music.

I have 2 garage kittens, we have had them for almost a month, they were meant to be outside cats but there are too many dangers to be leaving them alone outside all night and the neighbor kids want to take them, they already got one, the sweet calico, into there’s yard. I absolutely hate those people! Me and my sister were taking them on a walk around the house (we got them as sickly, feral kittens but we bonded with them and took them to the vet, they are getting their first round of vaccinations soon since when we took them to the vet at 8 weeks old they weren’t even 2 POUNDS!) Anyways, me and my sister were taking them on a walk around the house and they were hiding behind our shed trying to get the kittens to come to them. (It didn’t work, by the way)
I’ve had several cats and a couple litters in the past. 2 cats were pregnant when I got them unbeknownst to me and the kittens climbed all over my dog while their mother and my other dog watched. Years later that same dog stole the kittens the night they were born and put them in her bed while I was at work. When I got home that morning, she was coming down the hallway to get the 6th and last one. From what I remember the cat didn’t seem to mind-live in baby sitter. She would lift her leg to let them nurse if they got in that area. But she had no milk. I’ve been thinking of getting another kitten to bond with my (different) dog.
@Christine Robinette When I was a small child (4 or 5) , the neighbor's cat had kittens. Soon enough, the cat decided I would make the perfect baby-sitter, and would ferry the kittens over one by one then meow at the door until we'd open up. I was given a laundry basket and old blanket and my job was to watch the kittens while mommy cat went out and did cat things for a few hours. Then she'd come over, and ferry her kittens back home one by one for the night. :-)

He proceeded to kill every rabbit, squirrel, blue jay, cardinal, chipmunk, and robin in the neighborhood. He was a true serial killer. His passion for blood extended to me. He attacked me claws out on the steps, shaving, sleeping, whenever I dropped my guard. On top of that I was allergic to him, suffering constantly. We had him until he had to be put down due to cancer. We then got two terriers, but my wife would find another Shubert if I would allow it.
I love to hear the natural sounds in these videos, the birds, even the air...the cats making their own noises, I prefer the natural sounds more than the music.

I have 2 garage kittens, we have had them for almost a month, they were meant to be outside cats but there are too many dangers to be leaving them alone outside all night and the neighbor kids want to take them, they already got one, the sweet calico, into there’s yard. I absolutely hate those people! Me and my sister were taking them on a walk around the house (we got them as sickly, feral kittens but we bonded with them and took them to the vet, they are getting their first round of vaccinations soon since when we took them to the vet at 8 weeks old they weren’t even 2 POUNDS!) Anyways, me and my sister were taking them on a walk around the house and they were hiding behind our shed trying to get the kittens to come to them. (It didn’t work, by the way)
I’ve had several cats and a couple litters in the past. 2 cats were pregnant when I got them unbeknownst to me and the kittens climbed all over my dog while their mother and my other dog watched. Years later that same dog stole the kittens the night they were born and put them in her bed while I was at work. When I got home that morning, she was coming down the hallway to get the 6th and last one. From what I remember the cat didn’t seem to mind-live in baby sitter. She would lift her leg to let them nurse if they got in that area. But she had no milk. I’ve been thinking of getting another kitten to bond with my (different) dog.

@Christine Robinette When I was a small child (4 or 5) , the neighbor's cat had kittens. Soon enough, the cat decided I would make the perfect baby-sitter, and would ferry the kittens over one by one then meow at the door until we'd open up. I was given a laundry basket and old blanket and my job was to watch the kittens while mommy cat went out and did cat things for a few hours. Then she'd come over, and ferry her kittens back home one by one for the night. :-)
