Kanto trio is at 1st place for me because of nostalgia but Kalos trio is a close second not only because when Ash's Greninja was a froakie it was really strong all the froakie we've seen so far in the anime, all of them are tough. Remember the time when Ash and Goh came to Kalos and Goh tried to catch a froakie. Goh almost gave up because froakie is really strong for its size and another is because of chespin. Everytime I see a chespin, I'm reminded of Clamonts's chespin which for some reason makes me laugh
