Michael and Johnny always had such an incredible rapport, such clever rapid banter! Like about hauling nitro (Michael: it's a blast...Johnny: but you must be willing to travel). I love how Johnny mentions actor Richard Jaeckel from the clip, Richard did a memorable Bonanza episode in 1964 "Between Heaven and Earth" and has 193 acting credits. Also in that clip is veteran actor Bill Quinn who did tons of TV westerns.
If all goes well, I'll be meeting actor Lou Gosset Jr. at a celebrity convention in a few weeks and I intend to ask him about working on this show. Very excited 😊
@@helanesolomon1724 I didn't even mention the legend Lou Gosset Jr, how exciting you can meet him!!! Oscar winner, 203 actor credits. He also appeared with Michael on Bonanza on Feb 7th, 1971 in the episode "The Desperado" (S:12 E:19) as Buck Walter. Do ask him what he remembers about that one, please tell us how it goes :)

I want to see every appearance by Michael on "The Tonight Show." One famous clip I haven't seen in many many years is during the Joan Rivers debacle when she got her own show and didn't tell Johnny, he was beyond upset. So Michael came on and set up this long clip which surely he had something to do with, of someone canoeing upsteam a river, paddling and paddling...and the punch line was...can you guess? The audience roared.
I always thought of Michael Landon as a father figure ! True he was stern with his kids and probably spanked them when they were naughty but he never beat his kids that is the way I saw him ! My real Dad was a bully and beat the tar out of me as a kid teen and even as a 30 year adult and now I am 65 years old ! He died when I was almost 32 years old !
That was a fantastic episode of Little house so gripping.
I met Lou Gossett Jr and he knew Mike well and talked about it. ua-cam.com/video/_Dn0H_PizgY/v-deo.html

Yes, I remember that show but haven't seen it since then. If I ever found it, I would definitely upload.

Sorry to hear! At least we had Michael to fill the void.
