- We got down to the brass tax ( or should i say steel tax ) with this bike and dusted off the welder! Fitting the rear hoop to a build is a rewarding part to the build.

Looks good, if possible, invest in stripping discs to remove paint-they don't remove material-basically -the theory is if you see sparks, you are removing and thinning the metal, and if you can change that weedy ground clamp, MIG is needs a good return (ground/earth) , but whatever, job came out nice.

As much as I love watching you and your bike builds i preferred it when it was you and the video camera and a corner of the workshop against now in the studio and a bit more arty in the video work but yeah keep it up looking forward to seeing the finished bike
I am really interested to see how the bike comes together with that high tail.
A couple of tips, with the file you should only use it in the cutting direction, pulling it back and forth dulls the cutting edges, same with rust so try to keep them clean. This one is fairly obvious, but watch the sparks with your camera. I killed a UV filter on a camera last year from grinding to close. Luckily the filter took the brunt and saved the lens.
I didnt actually know that about the file! Its about 60 years old and was a knacker of a file anyway 😅 and dont worry, i put a cheap filter on before the grinding shots 😉

great video! what did you use for the sleeve to hold the loop to the frame?
That seat hoop sat hella flush after you put that inner tube in to join the two lol
It needed a gap for the weld ✌
Should also drill and plug weld those slugs in for a belt and braces job.
what size diameter hoop did you get?

Are you using a flux-core welder?
The Premier function, they all want to try it out but... In my opinion it conflicts with the UA-camr mantra of "subscribe and hit the bell" like we've hit the bell and reminded of a reminder almost. The feature is getting no love across the platform at the moment.
