I’m a city boy that married a small town girl, we both stand with Jason. Freedom of speech isn’t free anymore. DeSantis is such a hypocrite. He is saying that this should not be canceled but he is doing this with everything in Florida. He’s already done much that has contributed to the decline. He is not helping our country one bit but instead causing problems throughout. China is laughing at the ones who are creating chaos in the US. And they are laughing because democracy is on the verge of failure with all these people who will do and say anything to stay in power.

Freedom of speech. That is all I can say. I live in a small town (1200 people). In a small town that upholds the USA. The love your neighbor, freedom of speech, discuss differences of opinion with dignity and kindness. Not agreeing with others opinions does not lead to hatred and violence.

At a press conference in Jacksonville on February 23, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) announced a comprehensive package of legislative proposals to “counteract President Biden’s Border Crisis.” Building on past legislative victories and the recommendations of a statewide grand jury empaneled by the Florida Supreme Court last year at his request, the governor proposed that Florida:
increase penalties for human smuggling;
require universal use of E-Verify by all employers;
enhance penalties for document falsification;
invalidate all out-of-state driver’s licenses issued to illegal aliens;
prohibit local governments from issuing ID cards to illegal aliens;
require those registering to vote to affirm both national and state residency;
eliminate in-state tuition for illegal aliens;
eliminate authorization for illegal aliens to practice law; and
“[c]lose[ ] loopholes that allow illegal aliens to be released from ICE detention” (the so-called victim/witness exception to the state’s anti-sanctuary law that otherwise requires law enforcement to honor immigration detainers issued by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)).
As he unveiled his legislative agenda, DeSantis stressed that “Florida is a law and order state, and we won’t turn a blind eye to the dangers of Biden’s Border Crisis. We will continue to take steps to protect Floridians from reckless federal open border policies.”

Every US citizen should do one year of civic or military volunteering to be considered a US citizen in good standing.
I'm a conservative black man, and, while I support the video, what I can't support, is Aldean. In 2015 he was photographed in black face, at a party. 2015! That's late enough that he should have known better. When confronted about it, he basically said F you, I'll do as I please. So, while I support his right to do this video, and agree with what he is saying, I can not, in good conscience, support the man. As a black man, that is a bridge too far.
I was on the fence. After I investigated his 2015 black face incident I believe he intentionally had no diversity for the people representing the good folks of a small town in the video. I will erase all his music from my playlist. Thanks. Knowledge is power.
