Excellent Pokemon reference thumbnail
Through all these videos, I've realized that the human body is a royal pain in my ass and constantly working on balancing it is absolutely exhausting.
it's not supposed to be like that. Our modern environment has made us weak and dysfunctional
This explains why I have exaggerated S curve in my posture and the tendency to sleep on my sides.
GREAT POST!! The attachment of the RA at the xiphoid process is an inhalation muscle so if you can get the sternum lifted the RA muscle at the top can allow for more expansion and better stacking .. at the lower attachment …yes the RA is an exhalation muscle and you said it perfectly pelvis positioning, obliques, and TvA will all help for a better breathing strategy as well as open up the posterior outlet. I learned so much from YOU ! ❤
I instantly shouted Rectus Abs! Great thumbnail lol
Pokémon reference got me intrigued, clicked! Well done sir, great video.
Mathew McConaughey comes to mind, he's always been ripped but his posture isn't neutral, lordosis, kyphosis.. i never understood why.
Alright, alright, alrighhhhhtttt…you want me to take my shirt off now?
Great work
Thank you connor for the amazing work and very helpful content that you're posting, it's been really good in helping me fix my imbalances.
Couple of questions for you please:
The right of my abs is bigger than left. Is there an exercise to fix it? And what are the problems that such imbalance can cause?
Amazing info. I had pubis symphysis dysfunction with my pregnancies and my breathing has not been the same ever since. I bet things got messed up and my 6 packs are pulling my ribs down all the time. The only time I can get a good breath in is when I’m running and finally loosen up enough through the midsection (my obliques start to “turn on” and work properly) to get a deep inhale. I’m gonna start doing your exercise right away and see how it helps!
Definitely an issue of mine!
Hello Conor; would you have any content available and/or create a video/article that could speak to how an person who isn't breathing through their diaphragm can 'remember' to do us throughout the day? My specific issue is that I can do it when I'm completely focused on it, when I'm doing the drills you've suggested... but if my mind wanders (perhaps in the car, perhaps at work) or if I'm focused on a different task, I go back to my forward head tilt neck breathing. When I breathe through my diaphragm I recognize the benefits and I feel the expansion you speak out; it's amazing. I just wish my body could do it without it taking such a deliberate and conscious effort, and I don't think rather short drills are going to get me there. What are your thoughts?
Oh, thank God! I'm safe!
Great information honestly needed I can feel my Abbs they are so tight unreal
Very right
Conor, can you still workout your abs if you have swayback posture an they are tight
Should we feel more side abs every time we exhale ? Or hold the tension from the first exhale?
Hey Conor!
Does misalignment also affect the septum because I’ve been trying to get breath back in my left side but my left nostril is closed af. I just thought I’d bring it up cuz I think I have to fix that before I can get proper breath back in that side.
Thanks for everything!
It can. Misalignment down the chain at the hips can misalign the facial bones as they are so much more mobile than people think. The jaw, knees, hips, and ankles/feet are all connected. If there's misalignment down the chain you can already assume there's some compensation that has formed up the chain e.g. TMJ issues. You can see it all the time when you use the selfie camera and get a true selfie and notice the asymmetries in facial features on each side of the face. I don't completely know your situation so it is possible y could just have a deviated septum but generally if you fix the ribcage alignment with correct diaphragm breathing and hip stacking properly as well I'm sure you'll find relief in your septum
Could we hear your opinion on dead hangs, seems to fix a lot of problems for me without all the elaborate set ups.
Is that better than hanging upside down or dip bar holds ?
That's true.
Stretch your abs often after workouts
I’m looking to go see a PR practitioner, anyone knows one near this location Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom?
Thanks
Hi,there’s only one therapist in the uk & his name is Martin Higgins,he works from 2 locations,London & Leeds.i have to travel from Blackpool to Leeds to see him.regards & good luck with everything x
bruh just tell us which muscles to train and which to stretch😂 these exercises too advanced for the youtube audience including me, ive been training my lower abs, upper abs and obliques because of my rib flare and i think i see some improvement. also stretching my lower back for my lordosis
Or tell us how we can just modify our existing weight training programs instead of showing us rehab stuff that looks like it's meant for sedentary office workers and the elderly not for people who actually go to the gym and built six-pack abs.
@@zerrodefex as a weightlifter this is a good alternative perspective into core bracing. I should definitely use my obliques more and adjust my sleeping position.
this dude always posting something the normal innocent audience wont understand 😢
Fackem 😊
His descriptions are complex but necessarily so. The masses should work to have better understanding of their bodies rather than depending on practitioners to fix them. Understanding your own body, and having a healthy relationship with it is the key to functional longevity
